On a more personal note, I'm excited to see her albeit with some mixed feelings. Introducing her seems to diminish chances for Nahiri to be in this, does it not? Wotc is usually very conservative with female characters in their stories. Well **** it, the world needs more RG walkers.
Wizards has been making a major push in recent years for more female representation, the numbers between genders are at least a 50/50 split, often skewing 60/40 towards women. Of the 12 legends in Battle block, for example, 6 were women, 1 was a brother/sister duo, 3 were men, one was a genderless elemental, and 2 were giant multiversal horrors.
In terms of value, flip planeswalkers will always be bellow normal ones in my eyes. I really like flip cards, but when I want a game changer, I like to play him from hand.
Only one problem with her. They could make more vampire female and only few vampire male. Warewolfs should be 90% male. Not having a male wolf planeswalker is bad. She looks ok, but a male one would have been amazing. Again, this is not something against gender, just saying somethings look better as male and something as female. Male elf are looking bad while female elf are looking good. And 95% of this world thinks this way.
Not so sure you actually have 95% of the world on your side there, buddy. I'm pretty certain far less than 95% of Earth's population has any opinion either way on the preferred gender identification of fantasy characters.

They are doing something about that? Huh, I couldn't tell... maybe because every female now wears full plate mail and has a miley cyrus haircut.
I'm SO SICK of the "too strong for Standard" argument. It's the new "Dies to removal". We can have a two mana 4/4 with a zillion abilities, but we can't just have Accumulated Knowledge. Makes sense.
Unless there's a second Checklist card, we're Out of luck of getting her in Shadows, but not for Eldrich. I personally think she's more RW or GW, but that's my opinion. She could also flip to different colors as mentioned above. We shall see. I'm sure she'll be fleshed out and in card form within the next 6 months.
It would be weird if she wasn't in Shadows since her art's file name includes "SOI_PW". So there definitely has to be some sort of second checklist with some split. Someone said rares and/or mythics which I could see. Especially if it means they can do the neat little picture thing next to it like they did with Origins as someone else said.

It looks like planeswalkers igniting their spark upon transformation into non-human creatures is becoming more and more common in the multiverse. So perhaps there's still hope for a zombie walker that got Ghoulflesh'd before igniting his spark?

Someone pointed out in the number crunch thread that if there are only 15 basic lands in SoI when we could have a total of 9 cards that can go on the second check card.

Well, to be fair, the description sounds more like she Planeswalked due to the change being forced back for so long, rather than the actual transformation itself. Or possibly even some form of grief for who precisely she killed that time. It's a little loose.
"she can control the transformation", wait....her shirt in the second art....is she going to transform back to human? Sure?
According to the story for today, yeah, exactly what you think happens, happens.

Oh ma gawd soo much Hype ! i really do hope & would even bet shell be GW at daylight. Since shes not a Werewolf yet, connected to Goldnight & has w values. & of Course RG as Werewolf. Very intestesting though, that she has ful Control of her as Werewolf. Does that also mean, that she can transform at will ?
i cant resist to create a Card, allthough her Magic is unknown yet ^^
Arlin, Kord 2GW - 3 Loyality
If Arlin Kord has 5 or more loyality, transform her & you may activate her flip-side the the same turn.
+1 Put a 2/2 green wolf creature token onto the battlefield.
+1 Until your next turn, target creature you Control gets +1/+1, Vigilance & Protection from the Color of your choice.
Arlin Kord, Embraced by Moon RG
+1 Until end of turn, target creature you Control gets +3/+3 & Menace
+0 Until end of turn, Arlin Kord, Embraced by Moon becomes a 6/6 red & green Werewolf Creature
with Haste, Trample & Hexproof. (She doesnt lose loyality, while shes not a Planeswalker).
-4 Until end of turn each of up to two target creatures you Control gets +2/+2 & may fight another target creature you dont Control.
The backstory is very green with a hint of red or white...
My bet is on a red-green planeswalker. Not surprised about a werewolf planeswalker, but just as happy and excited as one can be.

Multicolor seems like a good bet for the second checklist card. Or maybe all character cards i. e. all legendaries and planeswalkers are a separate set. My first intuition was that we simply get the super cool stuff in the second set.

Planar Chaos was not a mistake neither was it random. You might want to look at it again.
[thread=239793][Game] Level Up - Creature[/thread]
I wonder if she'll be similar to the Origins flip-walkers, a legendary creature on one side and a Planeswalker on the other. It would fulfill both the set's need for a new Planeswalker and the demand for a legendary werewolf.
By the fact that she can control her transformation, I bet that both sides of her will have an ability "do something, then transform".
Maybe her only plus are transform, so you need to be fliping her to keep her on the field

I was thinking the same thing at first (earlier when I said perhaps she starts unnamed and/or non-legendary and thus could be one of the cards on the first checklist), but it seems more likely to me there's a second checklist than her not being named on her base form. Of course they could still do creature on one side and walker on the other to fulfill both of those roles which could maybe be what the weird part of her bio is pointing to as well (though again I think that was just covering bases for when they want to have her show up outside of a block with transform).

Don't think it will be a flip walker. The flip cards do not have her listed on it. Such as cards of delver of secrets and Huntmaster of the fells. Maybe she will have a different card or just be a planes walker.

She has 2 arts wich implied she will be a flipwalker. There could be more then 1 fliped card or just doesn't have her.Hard to imagine not having her a flip card like Garruk got in original Innistrad
What i would like is 3cmc RW cast on one side and 3 CMC GW on the other side So you could cast it for either and then transform it or something like +1 deal 2 damage and then you may transform or +1 create a 2/2 wolf and you may transform, thereby giving her 6 options instead of 3 so you could flip and flop based on what you need.
It seems likely that there's more than one Checklist this time.
That leak, if it does turn out true, has the Checklist card as CH1, it contains more Transform cards on it than the original Innistrad set had, and it looks crammed.
With the fact that they managed to get a measly 5 Flip cards at Mythic Rarity in the Origins set, it seems likely that they altered the printing process, and have it set to be Common/Uncommon, Rare/Mythic Rare print sheets for the double faced cards, with checklist cards to match.

Oh no, I don't want to get more than one flip card in my booster packs. They are a nightmare to draft with.
I don't think you'll be getting more than one flip card. Just that there's a larger amount of them to be potentially pulled.
My bet is that her human form is GW. She doesn't seem very red in personality, but she is DEFINITELY Green. She's in harmony with "the wild" and sees herself as a nature guardian.
