I didn't know Brago was such an integral part of Conspiracy's story to warrant him being the obvious focal point of this sequel. Then again, I didn't know too much about the over-arching story of Conspiracy.
Everything we saw for Conspiracy last time seemed to be more about backstory for the plane.
Introducing Marchesa, and her widespread information network, and all the power through backstabbing she attempts, plus the mind games.
Introducing Muzzio, and his tireless search for information, his desire to be head of the organization (Academy, I forget the specifics), and his widespread machine network making blackmail super easy.
Selvala and Brago's friendship while both alive, Selvala for the low country, Brago for the high city, both trying to make things less crap since Brago was king.
All of that going to hell thanks to the Custodi Council turning Brago into what was initially a puppet, then attempting to make him nothing more than a permanent dead guy in charge, then him countering that with an alteration to their ritual that made him "King Eternal" as a ghost, going crazy, throwing Selvala in prison.
Selvala deciding to kill Brago since he's crazy, meeting Grenzo, and Grenzo letting her go on the terms that she make some chaos, because that's where Grenzo is in charge.
That's all a really, really basic summary, but as a plane about political power and intrigue, the High King tends to be an important dude, and that's all ya really need to take away from the thing.
In the news regarding Brago's seeming double death: The King is Dead. Long live the King.
I think you missed how Daretti mixes into it, as well as Dack's initial role on the plane. But otherwise yes thats a basic summary.
I believe quipquip is looking for exact solutions and, failing that, sends back several things that approximate words. It can make a mathematical argument that some part of the ciphertext is kinda-sorta like "community" with higher likelihood than some other possibilities, but I would discard that solution because there are three other letters (represented with numbers) mixed in.
Yeah, for each I tried it had at least 16 attempts, so either it isn't what we're supposed to be checking, or we need a different key to get this.
For reference, I was trying 'Brago' 'CN2' 'Conspiracy' 'Long May He Reign' and 'Conspiracy the Reign of Brago'... maybe a couple others. Oh, and using the photo title of one for the others.
MTGS Wikia Article about "New World Order"
Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.
It's not really exciting, just one of every mythic and rare 2 of each uncommon and the rest commons (leant slightly more heavily to the commons more conducive to voting, and conspiracies.
I tried deciphering the newest image but it was pure gibberish. Nothing worth noting came up. Guess there is nothing to see here afterall. Bummer.

Maybe they will eliminate cards at an accelerated rate until the entire set kills itself off
Nah, not all of the cards can represent the nobility. We probably end up with a 180-card set full of slacking peasants and confused-looking middle class merchants, titled "Conspiracy 2: I Guess No One's in Charge?"
It would be pretty funny if Brago didn't die and instead sparked and planeswalked away with whatever explanation they have for a ghost planeswalker and is in the set anyway. Who knows, maybe he had one of those spark stealing machines like Memnarch or something. It's not like Slobad had a spark either and Karn has already gotten multiple sparks. Maybe it's also possible to retain a spark after death if you stay connected to the world like Elspeth?

Maybe the set will feature mechanics that encourage you to be ahead in resources. Original conspiracy had dethrone so maybe the new one will give you extra card draw if you have most life at each end step?
"There is no greater folly than standing against me."
"No fact escapes me. Why do you think you can?"
"Where will you run when I punish you with the very ground you flee on?"
"You will fully understand fear when you discover it is the final thing you put your faith in."
"Your pathetic ideas lie in shambles, Planeswalker. Where is your arrogant pride now?"
"Do the innocent pay for the crimes of the guilty? Of course they do. That's the fate of the weak."
"Power is wasted on the weak. They never keep it for long."
"The essence of every world, every spell and every thought is power. Nothing else matters, because nothing else exists."

Probably not. The beauty of Dethrone was that it fought against the natural inertia of multiplayer games. No one wants to attack because they don't want to leave themselves vulnerable to the whole table, leading to stalls, and when people do attack they tend to gang up on the weakest player to eliminate them quickly, leading to some players sitting around doing nothing while the game continues. Dethrone pushes against both by encouraging the stronger players to fight each other, promoting more dynamic games.
I'd expect them to look for mechanics with similar incentives. A mechanic that rewards players for holding back and passively hoarding resources would feed, rather than counteract, the game's natural inertia.
