Which is silly as Zendikar survived thanks to the Gatewatch.
Unless she has no clue about it and going off of what she last knows of the plane. Even Sorin doesn't know about Zendikar in its current state, just because we the players know doesn't mean the characters do.
As for the cards. Investigate is pretty nifty, and Invasive Surgery is kind of bonkers. The spider is a limited allstar and the werewolf does some pretty nice things, it is almost like you don't want it to flip until you get enough out of it and then play your whole hand out. The wolf token is pretty bad ass, and I'm glad they didn't reuse old art for it, some of the arts on the wolf tokens was getting stale.
I never claimed she knew, just that it was silly when she could easily have checked on the status of said plane. But then again, people don't generally make rational decisions when enraged.
Three new mechanics and two returning mechanics, reprint with new art, flavor text with a storyline noone was even speculating on.
These aren't anything close to fake.
Noone fakes an entire pack of cards. It takes far too much effort and nuance to fake a marginal red common. Even RnD has a hard time making cards like structural distortion.

Its notable that Madness' wording is different from the Oracle wording, though the lens glare makes it hard to decipher the exact wording.
So far, I'm going to say this is real.

Oh, I am feeling both guilty and ashamed, but I am also incredibly hyped. I will most definitely be buying boxes (yes boxes, plural) of this set. Not all at once mind you. But still.
I wonder if anyone has reported the seller to WotC yet. That there is stolen product after all.

It's about time for the reserved list to die, for the sake of Vintage and Legacy (And Commander).
The figures seemed human, but she didn't recognize their clothing from any culture she knew. Flimsy gauze barely covered their chests, revealing the stark red paint adorning their ashen skin. Sharp hooks protruded from their shoulders and upper arms and, as they snarled at her approach, she saw slightly protruding fangs.
Vampires? she thought. There are no vampires on Zendikar.
Let's break this down nice and simple-like:
1. Nahiri discovers vampires on Zendikar for the first time around 1,000 years ago.
2. Nahiri leaves Zendikar in search of Sorin for answers (not just about the vampires, but other things).
3. When Sorin awakens Ugin at the end of Tarkir block, Ugin asks Sorin about Nahiri's whereabouts. Sorin responds thusly:
The notion of shame had long since evaporated from Sorin. Over the millennia, Sorin's human frailties and neurosis had grown, blossomed, and withered away—he was as immune to regret as he was to old age. And yet, for the first time in years, an uncomfortable feeling grew within him, an unpleasant itch, the sense that he was responsible—solely—for something important going awry. It wasn't remorse exactly, just a dull, discordant echo ringing in the space where remorse had once resided.
"She is—not here," said Sorin, to no particular patch of air.
"That is clear," said Ugin. "I inquired about her whereabouts. Is she still on Zendikar? We should rejoin her, as soon as I am able to travel."
"I do not believe that she is there," Sorin said carefully.
Ugin's neck pleats fanned in irritation. "Speak facts, you vague thing. She's dead?"
"No," said Sorin. "She lives." The fuller extent of the truth was not something Ugin needed to know at this time, in Sorin's estimation. "I think I may know where she might be."
So Sorin knows where Nahiri is, and not on Zendikar, meaning that Nahiri found Sorin, something happened between them which is causing Sorin some approximation of shame, and now Nahiri is pissed as hell because of something that Sorin did to Zendikar.
So yes, it seems it's because Sorin made vampires on Zendikar.
Well, color me pleasantly surprised and excited. Madness and a fixed Threshold(two mechanics I never got to play with), cards that don't suck a la BFZ, the return of DFC werewolves AND it looks like Emrakul is nowhere to be found along with a very unexpected story turn. I'm very pleased so far. Now I can't help but wonder what the hell is going on with Nahrir and what is she doing to Innistrad? She doesn't have any mind magic that we know of so she can't be the cause of the madness on the plane, right?

I can't help but like early spoilers, but I especially like these because it's just a single, straight-up booster's worth, rather than just 90% of the mythics. Just one rare, one flip card, and a bunch of stuff that quite feasibly might not have been revealed until the final day spoiler-dump. (Well, Fiery Temper probably would have gotten a feature somewhere, but otherwise.)
Also, holy *****, Madness is actually back. And it'll share Standard with Tormenting Voice for six months or so thanks to its DTK reprint. (Admittedly, there might be better enablers, but I don't have much experience with the mechanic and that's the first card that comes to mind. Well, aside from Chandra, of course. And Jace, because Jace.) ...kinda makes BFZ block's exile-discard a lot better if there's enough pushed Madness stuff. Although I guess targeted discard just isn't going to take a Madness card anyway.

Yeah, that's pretty obvious. But there has to be some major plot point to this major retcon from a story last May:

But we've already gotten the origin of vampires on Zendikar:
Consciousness, a sense of me separate from the hunger, took years. Perhaps hundreds of years, though how could I know? The realization of consciousness came in waves, descending streaks of insight separating me from my hunger, me from my master. I was no longer an extension of it, of the consuming force named Ulamog. I was me. Drana.
They came from the leftover bits of eldrazi, specifically Ulamog, and eventually developed their own personalities and cultures. That was why they had to retcon Nahiri knowing about vampires, since they could not have had that origin if they'd been on the plane prior to the Eldrazi showing up. Granted, this does not preclude her from making swift judgements like yours, and coming to an incorrect conclusion, but it's not the sole reason for the change.

This isn't quite true - although it's what I believed too. The Zendikar art book actually states that the Bloodchiefs were Eldrazi cultists who helped weaken the prison when they were first released. They were transformed by Ulamog into the bloodchiefs.
Madness returning doesn't magically make LotV safe. Especially when the person with the liliana can discard a madness card themselves/if all players discard a madness card and cast it it's a rinse probably.
Finally, envelop with upside gets printed. Looks like it's a quash effect with the delirium although it's hard to make out. I don't see how threshold can't return but delirium can be made a mechanic when 4 card types in just your graveyard is a lot of card types and likely a minimum of 4 cards short of artifact creature being there as dual card types aren't common on cards. You can get instant and sorcery easily enough but fetches rotate, creature is no gimme and even if a creature is dead with sorcery and instants in the bin you still need another cardtype. Also could be a mess trying to turn on delirium deckwise. We'll wait and see I guess. Maybe entomb reprint happens to bin 2 card types at once, but I seriously doubt they want entomb in modern.

"Yawgmoth," Freyalise whispered as she set the bomb, "now you will pay for your treachery."
Madness is back!! (Broken clock, something something.. )
Seems like Chandra, Flamecaller probably just got quite a bit better. That middle ability? I've actually played with old Tibalt + monored Madness and it's actually halfway-reasonable thing to do. Chandra seems way better. Her middle ability is likely gonna be ROCKET FUEL in some archetype--it's also obviously gonna play well with Gobline Dark-Dwellers.
That counter might as well read "Target Scapeshift player loses the game," with how easy it is to get 4 card types in the GY in Modern. It's not too bad against burn either, it trades for a Lava Spike or Rift Bolt and sometimes gets you a small bonus.
The guy also put up his phonenumber on the account. Dare I call it before WoTC does?
Hah! I wonder why he did that?
I hope he got his rush from spoiling a few commons/uncommons, because his access to new cards is probably going to be cut.
I'm rather glad it wasn't a larger leak.

Zendikari vampires are of a different type than Innistradi Vampires.

Yes, but we already knew about Jace. All that shows is part of his new art.
It actually doesn't even confirm a card, since OGW had him on the cover too. Although it's likely a card for him.
