Well you can check out MaRo's tumblr if you wanna see him talking about how leaks are bad, but being the class act he is, he hasn't tried to levy blame on us.
Did anyone blame us? People keep acting like Trick Jarett did, but that article was pretty clearly addressed at the people who leak cards, and not the people who read the leaks.
People can be very entitled. To the point where phrasing is dissected and rearranged to fit their imagination. You should see the still ongoing reply and response on Trick's twitter regarding that article.
Anyway, my guess would be mono-red or WR Vampire Nahiri, bringing down Emrakul-sized vengeance on Sorin and his "necessary evils" in the pursuit of keeping his vampiric race alive. Furthermore, given the next set's name, my guess would be that Emmy was either summoned to the plane *through* Innistrad's moon, or some aspect of her has been inside the moon for centuries and is partly the cause of it's strange effects which Tamiyo has been studying. I would absolutely love to see her again (with a card or otherwise,) contributing the final clue necessary (in all likelihood for Junior Detective Jace) to solve the mystery.
[edit:] I wrote this in a rush this morning in response to seeing the text orlouge82 quoted. Rereading it now, while a failed romance between Nahiri and Sorin would be both conventional and interesting, it just struck me that Sorin wouldn't need any extra motivation to want Nahiri immortal: she, he, and Ugin are to their knowledge all required to combat and contain the Eldrazi should they remerge. The violation being a result of a relationship would also make it so that Nahiri would be a domestic-abuse/basically-rape survivor, and this subject matter might too heady to be printed directly on cards. I also noticed that I assumed the conversation between Sorin and Ugin is happening in the post-FRF present, which might not be the case.
Yeah after reading the Nahiri story, the vampire origins story (for context), and the Sorin and Ugin story. My immediate first impression was they were more then just friends, at least for a time. At the end of Nahiri's story when she left she seemed annoyed and concerned about him. But she also seemed excited at the idea of seeing him again. Something clearly occurred in that 1000 years from when she fixed the hedron system and when looking for Sorin. Did he turn her into a vampire? I dunno. It's possible. Since she was an old walker (pre-mending) did the act of the mending strip her of her immortality? (I'm admittedly not sure what the lasting effects were on the old walkers)
Of course all this means nothing if most of her personal stop the eldrazi story isn't cannon. I understand they changed the vampire thing, but did they invalidate the entire story in the process?
Being that Nahiri and Sorin traveled the multiverse for years and had a mentor apprentice relationship, and Sorin seeing her as a daughter, I'd say their dynamic would be that of an abandoned child/student and shameful guardian. Especially given the fact that's exactly what the gist is that we know of: Sorin not upholding his promise to come to Zendikar aid and Nahiri having to pick up the pieces herself.
Just personally don't see the estranged lovers angle.

Ahhh somehow I never caught the many years teacher part. (Time to read some character wiki pages)
Since she was an old walker (pre-mending) did the act of the mending strip her of her immortality? (I'm admittedly not sure what the lasting effects were on the old walkers)
We have a very clear, cannon example of this. Liliana became a planeswalker some time prior to the Mending, and her pact was specifically to regain the power and agelessness she lost.
Edit:
Based on the information available, Nahiri being a vampire makes a lot of sense, though there is nothing concrete to base it on. If she is not a vampire, there needs to be some other explanation as to why she is still alive. To my knowledge, Kor do not have considerably elongated life spans (if at all).
Personally, I believe Sorin transforming Nahiri into a vampire is an excellent story arc, and sincerely hope that is the case. If accurate, I expect the new Nahiri card to be , or possibly (though less likely)
Maybe Sorin turned Nahiri into a vampire to save her life? And maybe the transformation turned her mad? If that is the case, her being WBR would make a lot of sense. She wouldn't lose her core mana, but madness is more BR than WR or WB. It would also open up more design possibilities since Ajani Vengeant is kind of already everything a WR 'walker wants to be.
EDIT: And speaking of Ajani Goldmane, when are we going to get a WRG version?
I think there are two ways they can have prolonged Nahiri's life using either her or Sorin's abilities: vampirism or some kind of litho-stasis (I don't want to say Helvault here, but locked away in some kind of stone stasis-chamber. Moon? Maybe.)
But Creative could just as easily come up with something completely unrelated to either of those.
The real question though... What is everyone's first pick out of this pack?
The red devil spells look really strong in terms of trading in combat as they are virtually 2/1 and kill stuff in the air if they die (the traditional 2/1 flyers).
So the big version of 4 devils is quite a deal, easily trades against 3 creatures in combat and death triggers, so its a huge card, but also costs 6 mana (which might not be an issue, as the set doesnt look particularly fast, more about value).
Then we have the green 4/3 for 2GG , which is also a really strong card, especially if it kills something and produces an extra 2/2 token, the discard might enable the sets graveyard mechanic aswell.
The Recruiter is a card advantage machine in the late game, which will give you a creature for 2G in most cases (as top 3 cards will have a creature, unless you play a high spell count, which probably wont be the case for base-green decks, but potentially could be for something like RG with the instant/sorcery token producers).
Out of the blue i would take the red rare, 4 tokens that ping on death look quite promising, especially if theres any way to get the spell back from the graveyard (maybe).
But any of the two strong green cards looks also quite viable.
Fiery Temper is clearly a save removal pick, but the creatures and Dance with Devils look like better cards (unless the set lacks removal).
A Fiery Temper reprint makes me really excited to try U/R Tutelage again in Standard... the deck as it is seems to lack removal, and Madness in general has a lot of synergy with loot effects that are sticking around like Tormenting Voice, Jace, Vryn's Prodigy, Chandra, Flamecaller and Oath of Jace and Sphinx's Tutelage itself... I feel like there's another major one I'm missing that isn't rotating but I can't think of it right now. At any rate, "I'll loot, trigger Tutelage, also kill your threat when I discard Temper" sounds like a lot of fun even if it's not competitive.
I could see this being used in commander mill decks to win a few games.
Ew, no. Your average deck isn't terribly graveyard focused, and will gladly exile the vast majority of their graveyard; you might as well play Relic of Progenitus for the same effect. Meanwhile, when fighting a graveyard-matters deck, you're letting them keep their strongest cards in exchange for a little life; in those situations, you really want the certainty of something like Relic of Progenitus.
....
Out of the blue i would take the red rare,
....
This made me chuckle more than it should have. Not because the statement after it was wrong, but it sounds like the beginning to a painting my colorblind brother would make.
If Brainstorm Madness is a real card, I can only imagine it being banned like Graveyard Visions. There is a good chance this can make Lily V cheaper only because people don't want to have their opponent draw cards from using her +1, or it could help her price as being able to draw cards from using her +1.
The return of Madness makes me so happy, all they need to do is reprint Wild Mongrel I will be over the moon.
Yep, I definitely agree...man we're getting old, the old Madness deck isn't even Modern-legal now. I wonder if they're going to print easy to use discard outlets like during Odyssey block. I'd love to see Circular Logic return as well. I wonder how will the interaction between Madness and Delirium play out. Discard outlets in that block were awesome because they worked well with Madness, Threshold and Flashback. I hope we get such a level of synergy here.
I can do all over again my favorite play with a red deck: "I tap two mountains for RR, I'll cast this card and discard this other card, the card I'll play is Lightning Axe, I fry your big guy for 5, the other card I discarded was Fiery Temper, I burn your little guy over there"

The real question though... What is everyone's first pick out of this pack?
You're most likely jesting, but my answer is "inconclusive". There aren't enough cards out to paint a picture of what's good and what's not in this set. For example, Devil's Playground gets worse if the average toughness in the set gravitate towards 3 or greater. That said, on first impression my pick would be
1. Devil's Playground- Effectively 8 power worth of bodies for 6 against creatures.
2. Pack Guardian- A good flash body that turns an excess land into a flash bear.
4. Duskwatch Recruiter- Unlike werewolves from the past, this guy has a mana sink unflipped (a potent one at that), so he's much more worthwhile to flip.
3. Dance With Devils- Effectively two flash bears against creatures.
5. Fiery Temper- Removal is removal.
That was the secret tech behind my Time Spiral based burn deck, which I started to build from Blood Knight, Reckless Wurm, Lighning Axe and Fiery Temper, no one in the LGS expected that deck, and no one, NO ONE, expected those four cards.
I remember I used to sideboard Pyrohemia against Zoo, man, that deck was crazy awesome and tons of fun to play, I never enjoyed so much tournaments like I did in those days.
Ah, and the deck had only one rare, effin' Razormane Masticore, the cards were so obscure that people got terrified from the deck when they saw me drop a mountain
Do not forget that in the UR piece when Nahiri awakes she looks pretty pissed to find vampires on Zendikar... because there were none when she went to sleep! My guess is that Sorin did more than we know on Zendikar, causing the appearence of vampires(who on Zendi are usually pale like the kor btw) and the kor to become nomads and the flourishing of cults around the eldrazi titans, so they probably fought over that. Of course we'll find out more in the next two sets but apparently the relationship between Nahiri and Sorin has been quite tumultuos in the last 100 years, as confirmed by Sorin's reaction when Ugin asked him to find Nahiri.
I just finished reading the story. She was certainly confused as to why they were there, but at the conclusion of the story, she planeswalked to go find Sorin out of concern for him. She wondered why he hadn't come when she called for him at the Eye. She figured he was either slumbering, or had become numb to the world like she had when she first stepped out of her stone cocoon. Her plan was to find Sorin and then return to Zendikar and start living a real life again. So at least at that point in the story, she isn't enraged with Sorin and seeking blood for blood as the flavor text on the spoiled card suggests. Whatever caused her to be upset happened after the conclusion of the story. It certainly could be she ends up getting upset when she finds (found) Sorin and discovered his responsibility for vampires being on Zendikar, but at this moment we do not know that. Heck, Vampires might be on Zendikar because while Nahiri slept, he fell in love with a Kor and to preserve the love relationship with his Kor girlfriend/bride converted her into a vampire. After becoming immortal, his Kor/Vampire started to see the world in the same way that made Nahiri depressed and eventually numb to the world. Nahiri closed herself off to the world because she was tired of seeing people she loved live and die while she remained ageless. This new Bride of Dracula Kor feeling depressed at seeing people come and go then started converting people around her into Vampires to "preserve" them thus starting the lineage of vampires on Zendikar. What started out as a love story turns into a tragedy. Sorin in his shame for starting the vampire plague on Zendikar probably fled and has resisted returning due to his feelings of guilt. That could be why he didn't respond to the call for help by Nahiri. Now Nahiri is seeking revenge on him for what went down when she learned of his involvement.
