clearly we the players are to blame and should be scolded like children some more. shame on us. shame on us all. we should know better especially after the last one. we're going to make wotc get the belt and then we'll really be sorry.
still on the fence about the quality of this set given how bad the past few have been.
Return a land card from your graveyard?
I understand it's probably only due to mill support, but it would be surprising if they reprinted fetchlands on Innistrad.
To be fair, it's probably returning Mirrorpool first. I think we've probably got a wait ahead of us for the fetches.
I really hope Clue tokens kept the same name they had in design. Mainly because that means there may have been playtest names like Get A Clue and Clue-By-Four. No real reason, I just think it'd be funny.

Man I'm pumped for madness. Anyone want to join me in getting Jace, Vryn's Prodigy banned lol?
I'm also very much looking forward to Trick Jarrett flipping his wig. Since the last "response" was so well received I think we'll not hear anything about this leak though, we'll see.
Love me some Innistrad, can't wait. WOTC can say what they want, but getting a leak like this is a good thing.
I wonder what Wizards of the Coast is thinking right now about these leaks?
Great question. If I were Wizards I'd start battening the hatches STAT. There's really no excuse for this sort of stuff to be happening on a regular basis. If it's a tester, they need to be canned (or even sued for theft of intellectual property) and if it's someone higher up it's even more disgraceful. We shouldn't be getting this information this far in advance. I mean, I obviously "like" it since it influences my purchase decisions, but ultimately it points to lack of IP security controls on their part.
(I do love the idea of "clues" though, the Call of Cthulhu gamer in me is going into overdrive!)

24 flip cards, no legendary werewolf. No Multicolored flip cards either.
And we shall now all hold hands, sing Kum-Ba-Yah, and watch Huntmaster of the Fells double its price overnight.
I think people keep forgetting that there is a packleader named tovlar who is incapable of transforming back into his human form. If he ends up being our legendary werewolf he won't be a flip card.

It's not theft of intellectual property to disclose information (a laughable argument). It's almost certainly a violation of an NDA, but the enforcement mechanisms are pretty weak.
And it's not easy to stop this stuff. There are way too many potential leakers, and it's way too easy to leak without the kind of trail that WOTC could follow. Dumb leakers can definitely be caught (don't leak from a WOTC computer), but smart leakers can operate for multiple sets without anyone the wiser.
Frankly, it's not unusual in the history of Magic, either. Leaks used to be a lot more common than they are today. It's striking that people are approaching this and the OGW leaks as somehow major leaks when they are by historical standards very minor -- once upon a time, entire sets were leaked wholesale before WOTC disclosed them! And it's certainly not easy for WOTC to argue that they ever suffered financially from leaks, even the major ones.

Torvolar CAN, in fact turn human. He chooses not to because he enjoys it. And many of the Mondronen howlpack feel similarly. That doesn't diminish your point about the card potentially being single sided but I think people want and expect a two sided one.
Funny you should mention him. I was just thinking I only have a little bit of time left with my R/B dragon deck because Kolaghan Storm's Fury is rotating but pack in 4 to 8 madness cards and the deck may stay alive, with more burn. Regent already bolts opponents to the face when he get targeted.
Can you imagine this turn: Regent attacks, killed, second main, Cast Av dragon, discard two psuedo bolts for 9 damage for the turn and still have a dragon in play. Very cool. Only problem is people will want to jam Jace in the deck for his looting.
I bet skin invasion is an aura that maybe slowly kills something then transforms into a creature.
Wow that flavor is off the charts. I%ll be disappointed if that's not what it is now.

They didn't care that he was the savior of Fort Keff, the great hunter of Ondu, the champion of Kabira. To them, he was just another piece of flesh, a thing with life to be drained away.
investigate seems interesting, could indicate the block after is kaladesh or new phyrexia
Three old planes in a row? Highly unlikely.
They have said a block set on Kaladesh, Vryn or Regatha would be considered a new plane since we have never had a full block focused on just them.

I think as long as it bolsters the two sided werewolves in some way I would be fine with it. Maybe it could have an elvish piper effect but only for werewolves and or the ability to transform or choose not to transform your werewolves.

Honestly my favorite part about Huntmaster of the Fells was that he was fun to transform pretty much regardless of what direction he was transforming. That was also a major piece of him being so strong, too. I think a werewolf legendary needs to transform, or provide value to cards that do transform. Remember that this is a pretty weak tribe, with only like for or five really good werewolves.
Although if we include wolves in the tribe it expands significantly, I still don't think the support is there for a tribal edh deck but we shall see with this block.
2 cents..
Expose Evil - Investigate seems to be an interesting twist on a cantrip. Cheap spell and pay for the cantrip later. Potential artifact synergy gets me excited for what the next block brings..
Furtive Humunculus - Skulk seems to be a wierd name for the mechanic. Should be like sneak(meh) or stealth. Not a block mechanic so seems like an evergreen,
Invasive Surgery / Hould of the Farbogs - I like that Buried Alive can turn on Delirium (search for an Artifact Creature and an Enchantment Creature)
Lamplighter of Selhoff - Tribal is still a theme here
Dance with the Devils/Devil's Playground - Something in AVN that is expanding.
Fiery Temper - Madness is back
Structural Distortion - seems like an Eldrazi card more than an Innistrad card. I'm not saying that Eldrazi will be in Innistrad, but I find the card off, mechanics wise and flavor wise.
Duskwatch Recruiter - A huntmaster of the fells type card - a Werewolf you dont mind flipping back and forth.
Pack Guardian / Stoic Builder - Interblock synergy?
Watcher in the Web - Great flavah! Take that, Lingering Souls!
All in all i find the previews more like a mechanics article than a booster pack. Seems convenient that all the mechanics are there.
Hopefully not too many reprints, i want NEW cards.
They could print a goyf version with the new mechanic (and probably will).
A reprint of goyf is quite unlikely.
I fully expect Madness to be blue/red in this set, as its the color combination that got the looter effects in both versions (draw/discard, discard/draw).

It can't be a tester as this is finished product, and it is to early to be a distributor, that means the leak is at production level.

But it *is* theft. Taking something that doesn't belong to you, without permission, is the exact definition of theft. This isn't a leak, this is fencing of stolen goods. Something that is highly illegal. Personally I hope that the guy that sold these cards, the guy that bought them, and the person who stole them to begin with all get caught and prosecuted.

They have said a block set on Kaladesh, Vryn or Regatha would be considered a new plane since we have never had a full block focused on just them.
I meant a return to New Phyrexia is highly unlikely.
Maro's blog has said the block after Shadows is on a new plane anyway. Blue's Clues could potentially be laying groundwork to support an artifice set, the same way Morph clicked into Eldrazi wave 2. We're also due to find out Pia Nalaar is still alive out there one of these days. It's not unthinkable we're bound for Kaladesh, although my kneejerk reaction is that they'd prefer to read our reaction to them in Origins before deciding whether or not to pursue, and the size of their backlog is bigger than a year and a half. I'd prefer to blaze some actually new territory anyway, after back to back returns.
Since this IS a pack...
Let's play draft that pack, leaked edition!
What will you first/second/third pick out of this booster and why?
Duskwatch Recruiter seems completely insane. You spend your mana on one turn calling for creatures, so he flips, then you cast some creatures for cheap, flipping him back, so you can reload and go again? I want that in my life. After that is probably Pack Guardian, for being a high-power dude who gladly turns your surplus land into even more dude, and after that the bolt?
Invasive Surgery / Hould of the Farbogs - I like that Buried Alive can turn on Delirium (search for an Artifact Creature and an Enchantment Creature)
An artifact creature and enchantment creature is only 3 cards types, not 4.
