For the life of me I can't figure out why there aren't any Makindi Patrol in the Cohort deck. Vigilance makes the mechanic actually halfway usable.
Both of the Blue intro decks have a solid crop of uncommons that I want, though. Especially the UC one, since I very much want to make a mono-Wastes deck if for no other reason than because I can (no Warping Wail is a bit disappointing, but 2 Walker of the Wastes and 2 Spatial Contortion is a good start). The Surge deck is mostly for the Stormchaser Mages and Reckless Bushwackers, but the enablers for them aren't too terrible. Just wish the other rare was something that actually worked to enable Surge (which...there isn't actually much of in BFZ block that isn't multicolored, now that I look - still, Fall of the Titans would have been fine).

Okay, okay... I swear I followed that link and thought I followed another link to Gatherer, and I can't find the deck lists... Maybe their website sucks, maybe I'm just missing it, I give up.
but I would like to know if my Gatherer skills are busted.
Anyway, I too like the CU one for the Wastes and some of the C cards. But all that exiling and ingesting for only 2 processors makes me sad for the newbies using it. But the myriad of evasion techniques is cool.
The BG one seems okay. The rest seem about normal / average.
It's hard to find the intro deck lists because the changes to daily mtg improved the "treasure hunting" aspect of finding specific information. The intro deck lists isn't in its own article. It is part of the "Daily Magic Update" article that isn't even posted right at 8AM PT.
... and that tells us all we need to know about the quality of the intro decks this time around.

If you don't count colorless as a "color", the intro pack color pattern is still in play. BFZ had red represented 3 times and blue once. OGW had red represented once and blue 3 times (mono color decks have the same color represented twice) so everything evens out.
I would have bought the GW one if it had at least 3 Immolating Glare. One copy is sad and I will pass. I need that bad Green rare for EDH, but I can pick one up elsewhere.

I feel like the quality of the intro packs has been decreasing lately. At least Origins hat alt-art legends to entice you. Even the foils aren't interesting this time around. When the best you can hope for is a few kind of playable uncommons, and a chance at something good in the booster packs, it's pretty sad.
I thought alternate art was supposed to be a thing for recent intro packs? Did they changed it again?
EDIT: Ok, it still looks like they will. Maybe Wizards did not add them in yet?
Surge of Resistance really feels like it's lacking in cheap instants/sorcs to proc it's Prowess/Enchantement/stronger surge creatures, but the foundation seems solid I suppose.

Those were both trash rares for a really long time. It's only the rise of EDH that has given them value.
Agreed. The example you should be using at the moment is the red Origins intro pack with the alt-art Pia and Kiran Nalaar on it. $12 card right there ATM, thanks. Almost pays by itself for Jace Chasing in the pack's boosters.

I am very let down that Endless One is the second rare in in the Blue intro pack. Actually, very let down at the second rare in most of them.
That's a very... creative... distribution.
I guess they needed to if they wanted one of the decks to heavily feature <>.
