That's a little too expensive to be that good, IMO.
Its only one more than Mana Reflection which has potential to go crazy with things like Cabal Coffers but still mostly covers the same thing.
I agree its a little spendy but adding that draw on there is kind of nice. Too bad you probably tap out to cast it and likely get no value from it until the following turn.

The true mind can weather all the lies and illusions without being lost. The true heart can tough the poison of hatred without being harmed. Since beginning-less time, darkness thrives in the void but always yields to purifying light.
I invision a future where one is not mighty when he can silence a crowd with brutality,
but when he leaves them speechless with wisdom.
Ugh, while not a constructed staple, this just screams Prophet of Kruphix for EDH players. Mana Reflection was already a solid card and annoying, but for an extra 1, you now draw for each creature spell, or in reality, for every spell because most that run these effects are creature based (not all, but most.) This set just has something for everybody, which I think makes it a "good set", BFZ was just lackluster all around.
I will say the same thing about Matter Reshaper that i said about Goblin Dark-Dwellers: All the gravy starts at 3 mana, and this just goes ahead and plays it for you for free, in a reasonable body. Worse case scenario it either draws you a card or ramps. This is like the Piloted Shredder of this game
Normally when people here say "Made for EDH" about a card they are talking about *****ty cards that cost 5+ mana and won't actually see play in EDH. In the case of Resurgent I can very much see this being a powerhouse in EDH. Mana Reflection is already quite playable in slower metagames and tacking 1 on there to cantrip all creature still puts it in range of playable.
No, you pay the cost of sacrificing the Matter Reshaper, and its trigger goes on the stack on top of the Viscera Seer activated ability. You will resolve the trigger before scrying. Note that the Viscera Seer is an activated ability, not a trigger. If a Matter Reshaper died while Reaper of the Wilds was out, you could stack the triggers to scry first.
That new Mana Flare essentially turns Palinchron combo from requiring three cards to only two cards (seeing as you draw your entire deck in the process of generating infinite mana).
They do not. Matter has a triggered ability and seer has an activated ability. Once you pay the cost for the seer, the Reshaper death trigger goes on the stack on top of the seer activation and you'll resolve it before scrying.
I think the Reshaper would be nice in EDH too, if you have a deck with some decent 3-drops. It could also help smooth out a Birthing Pod chain or net you an extra card with Greater Good.
This set seems to be making up for the rather lackluster BFZ.

I am with you. Honestly I dont really like expensive mana doublers because they take up your turn and their entire value is generally later on. This one has a lot of potential value to it but it has the downside of eating your turn.
I think its a potentially good card assuming you can get it to work out.

My only question is, What is the color identity of waste because right now it is all over the place.
"being all over the place" is actually their identity. Between how weird it would be for something that's not a color to get it's own section of color pie, and the fact that colorless symbols in the cost is a one-off thing for Battle block, R&D didn't feel like carving out a specific mechanical identity for Kozilek's brood and instead just came up with a bunch of stuff that felt weird and oddball-ish enough to fit the Eldrazi, then stuck it at the appropriate rarities.
And Matter Reshaper looks like it could do some nice work in Tiny Leaders, too.
Fun cards!

Pretty much. People who can't make Mana Reflection work aren't going to make this happen either. But one of the biggest issues with mana doublers is that they encourage you to dump your hand and often times you are in top deck mode the turn after one the big doublers hits. I like this one because it addresses that problem.
As much fun as Rally is to play, I don't think they really needed another guy this good. This is pretty clearly Modern playable, let alone Standard.
As for Zendikar Resurgent, it'll certainly find a home. You won't be losing if you untap with this, which is about how strong a 7-drop needs to be to be playable.

It is not Mana Reflection. It does not double the mana,it adds one more. It is what Hardened Scales is to Doubling Season(half of it).

It's colorless. There should be no color identity.
