BR Eldrazi aggro is looking pretty mean. Or even Eldrazi grixis could be pretty cool me gusta

The true mind can weather all the lies and illusions without being lost. The true heart can tough the poison of hatred without being harmed. Since beginning-less time, darkness thrives in the void but always yields to purifying light.

but when he leaves them speechless with wisdom.
Solid 1 drop for the eldrazi aggro deck. Might not develop right away as standard has been pretty harsh towards 2/1s for 1 recently, but it is fine to keep an eye on for later. Who knows, maybe Ghostfire Blade will help enough to let devoid aggro develop.
Is it just me or does it feel terribly awkward to have a one-mana Eldrazi? It doesn't really fit the feel or the flavor of these unblinking, consuming otherworldly horrors. Don't get me wrong, it feels off having them be any cheaper then five or six mana, but to have them for just one is so weird. Not to say that the card isn't good, it's a lot of what aggressive BR Eldrazi decks have been needing and asking for and it could see some play alongside Forerunner of Slaughter, Flayer Drone, Dominator Drone, Wasteland Strangler and Dust Stalker. It really could be a legitimate strategy if it gets enough support. If you play it in a dedicated deck, this is basically a black Savannah Lions and that's perfectly fine.
The Eldrazi drones were always cheap creatures. The big true colorless ones have been getting surprisingly cheap, though.

Eldrazi drones were always cheap? I don't know if you would really call Rapacious One, Dread Drone and Broodwarden cheap. The one and only cheap Eldrazi Drone before this block was Nest Invader, and that was just one card. The rest were 4 mana and up.
Hmm, I guess you're right. I was probably confused because Nest Invader is the one I've played with most.

There are the scions and spawns, just think this one as a overgrown scion.

Indeed, but the flavor behind a Scion/Spawn is different from an actual, fully-grown Eldrazi. Scions/Spawn are more like a physical extension of their parent titan, while Drones are their own creature. I mean, I know that my complaints are just flavor-based, but still. These new Eldrazi don't really give off the same feeling of size, hopelessness and dread that the old ones used to.
Actually all non-titan eldrazi (ie anything not named Ulamog, Kozilek, or Emrakul) are extensions, limbs, organs etc of one of the legendary Eldrazi. Whether it's a spawn or scion or Oblivion Sower or It that Betrays none of them are their "own creature" parse.
Nonetheless the card is good and a good aggro Eldrazi deck can comeout of this. This thing + Ghostblade sounds legit
The Eldrazi are devouring Zendikar pretty aggressively. And Eldrazi players need something to do in the early game. BR Eldrazi aggro was established in BFZ.
MTGS Wikia Article about "New World Order"
Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.

It looks like the drone strike aggro deck is coming together.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing.
And even by itself, a 2 power one mana dude with a minor downside is lovely for aggro based strategies.
Special thanks to XenoNinja of Heroes of the Plane Studios for the awesome avy!

I'm seeing an aggressive BG deck with Reaver Drone and Blisterpod as openers.
