Dimensional Infiltrator1U
Creature - Eldrazi (R)
Devoid
Flash
Flying 1C: Exile the top card of an opponent's library. If its a land card, you may return Dimensional Infiltrator to its owner's hand.
2/1
I like it as an aggro creature but I'm really not sure why it has flash. I mean I guess it helps you get around a T2 Pyroclasm but it seems unnecessary
I like it alot :):) so many cool jonny/spike cards from the eldrazi in this set. combined with some of the basic ones in BFZ, I think there might be some cool Eldrazi decks this standard season.

The true mind can weather all the lies and illusions without being lost. The true heart can tough the poison of hatred without being harmed. Since beginning-less time, darkness thrives in the void but always yields to purifying light.
I invision a future where one is not mighty when he can silence a crowd with brutality,
but when he leaves them speechless with wisdom.
Ugh... I'm getting flashbacks of Mindreaver... Weird ability that doesn't really do anything or go well with the rest of the card. A Melvin's worst nightmare...
At least the stats are good for limited, so it's not a complete miss.
Do my eyes deceive me or is this yet another 2/1 rare flyer for two that shouldn't be rare? Unlike Bearer of Silence, this card will most likely always be that, just a flying body. Yes, sure, it enables processors, it might save itself from removal, but who in the world uses removal on a 2/1? And to be fair, it doesn't even do it all the time! Against an average Limited/Sealed deck, this ability will whiff around 60% of the time. As far as enabling processors goes, we haven't really seen a single one in this set. So in the end, you have a 2/1 flyer that enables a strategy that doesn't seem to have a lot of support, it needs basically a second "color" to do it and its ability to save itself will fail more often then not. Wow. And don't you dare give me that "you can activate it more then once" deal since it requires C for its ability, and colorless sources need to be picked up and drafted and you won't have many of them.
This one feels like it could've been uncommon. I do like it though. Flash is probably my favorite mechanic.

On top of the various combat tricks, you can always flash it in after your opponent tutors to exile the card they tutored for. Or, if they try to draw with a Top you can flash this in to exile the card they wanted to draw, then exile the Top too given enough mana.
This one I think will make a cool surprise blocker, Flash it in to block, exile a card (helping your processors) and potentially get it back. That isn't a TON of value for 4 mana, but its kinda cute versatile little body, with potential for some cool tricks. I like it, even at rare

It lets him dodge removal and still remain in the field the next turn so you can swing. Bounce him to hand to dodge a wrath, then flash him during your opponent's end step.
Basically, it's WotC's way of giving a U card pseudo-Haste.
This is rare because in limited I have the option to slow roll exile your entire deck along with my injestors. Still I think he is pretty fun and I would not have wanted to see everyone playing on in limited.

This is potentially quite a good surge enabler for bigger surge spells like the one that makes an 8/8, but I feel that it's too inconsistent (~40% chance on average to return) that it won't see much play. And it definitely should not be rare. What the hell is Wizards thinking with the rarity distributions in these last few sets? So many excessively lame rares.
With the deck I've been running, I would have given this serious consideration as just a 1U 2/1 Devoid flyer. With flash, and additional upside--I'll take 4.
Hold up mana for Negate/Disdainful Stroke, then flash this in if they don't cast anything? Possibly dodge removal if you have some extra mana? Or just equip Ghostfire Blade and beat for 4 in the air, starting turn 3...
I don't think a lot of you understand what makes a rare a rare. Its not nessisarily the power level of a card so much as its value/uniquness. A 2/1 flying flash for 1U is uncommon level. A 2/1 flying flash with a beneficial ability (relevent or not) for 1U is rare level.
Edit: See Quickling. It has a drawback and its uncommon
People saying this should be uncomun i think has Not played Batle for Zendikar limited...
1U for a fliyer ia good, exiling the top of library is relevant in the formart Draft Goes OOB Soo there are processors and the common tap lands from Batle , almost all tutors puts in the top , Oath will have wastes as basic lands in boosters and abside there are 2 common and one uncommon <> lands , Batle has the uncommon blighted lands , fliyers where a major archetype on Batle sealed and draft
Eldrazi Blinking Spirit? Costs mana to bounce it back and it could whiff, but it does get rid of the top card of the opponent's library to fuel process and possibly hit a needed card. Good stats for a blue creature though. I can see this card being VERY annoying. Turn 1 drop a Ghostfire Blade. Turn 2, EOT flash this in, on your turn equip it up with Ghostfire Blade for a 4 power evasive flier that can potentially waste your opponent's removal spell.
I think people are missing the fact that you can trigger the ability multiple times a turn in ordr to exile more cards or increase the chance of bringing it back to your hand.
Any chance this is designed as a hatebear for upcoming land-dependent constructed decks? We've seen some pretty crazy land-lord type cards recently, in addition to manlands and a sixth color. And this guy also screws with scry...
Whenever I see a card like this, I always wonder if it's random fun from R&D or if it's engineered to fight something specific.
(Sometimes, I never figure it out.)

I like these cards.
you can block and hope to exile a land to save it from combat damage. Instant blocker. Pseudo haste. It fits nicely in my processor decks.
BChainer, Dementia Master(Big Mana/Reanimator)
BRRakdos, The Showstopper (Mass Life Loss/Ramp)
BUThe Scarab God (Zombie Tribal/Control)
BWKarlov of the Ghost Council (Life Gain)
BGJarad, Golgari Lich Lord (Stompy/Dredge)

1) Makes me question preordering Russian boxes, as the text on these cards is so obscure and probably difficult to remember.
2) Challenge the MTGO coders, as they have demonstrated their proficiency at all things less complex than these wonky cards.
