Thats some win-moar in ways gigantomancer didn't quite do justice. At the very least, like the mancer, it can hopefully go off on the same turn you tap out to play it in order to win on the spot, but you need to align the celestial orbits in terms of setup to get any positive mileage at all let alone some game ending alpha strike on a board that wasn't going to do it without this guy.
Holy Cosi Batman, its big on its own, then imagine flipping the one from Ula's Brood the 8/9 trample guy. He can definitely hold the ground, plus if you dont want to draw the creature after the trigger you can bottom it. Scions suddenly get upgraded.
This is obviously not constructed material, but it's such a fun design. This is clearly meant to synergize well with all the Eldrazi Scions/Spawn that your deck is making, and turn them into the other giant Eldrazi lurking in your deck. I'm glad it doesn't transform itself, so that you always at least have it. And Scry's evergreen now, so you get that synergy as well. This card is just a ton of fun.
Swingy, possibly game winning effect and on top of it is sort of a Scry 1. Cool
+1/+1 counters stick and so do death triggers for this turn, some really wild things can go on with this guy. It's definitelly made to turn all your idle scions into big things. Think i'll stick to Mirrorweave for constructed formats though
I saw an interesting deck that used Congregation at Dawn to do things with creatures on the top of your deck. This seems like something interesting to try.
I'm glad it's a may ability, otherwise it would be dangerous if you had to reveal a legendary creature and then all your creature became a copy of that legendary creature.

Yes. Whether or not the card is a creature, you get to tuck it if you don't like it

Yes. It almost acts like a scry one. In fact, it probably is.

Remember it triggers on combat not upkeep so it's next turn's draw you're pseudo-scrying.
