I like this is a thing, won't be over joyed if I end up pulling it tho.

I believe this is a new thing for white's colour pie.. I am okay with that up until now they could tutor only equipment.
It's not going to be a 4 of in standard, it just doesn't do anything but as a one or two of it will be quite powerful in basically being all the walkers in your deck.
I believe WoTC's new policy is to make sure that every color can enjoy the exciting gameplay mechanic of making undercosted dudes and then turning them sideways. Clearly the future of magic.

I feel it should have been an Instant, then it might even see Modern play. But, as it sits, It'll make a splash in standard for sure, but too slow for other formats...unless you run Quicken...
Confusing to see a planeswalker only card at rare. Great card plus artwork. Is this rare so that the chances are higher to pick this additionally to a beforehand picked planeswalker which is mythic?
It has the same cost as a few other tutors, and having recently purchased an idyllic tutor, it will see lost of play in any B/W or U/W decks that run Liliana of the Veil or Jace, the mindsculptor. The cost is pretty even. If you make it any less, this has to become mythic and the price would be even steeper, ask demonic tutor.
It's rare because planeswalkers are hard to deal with and it would be overpowered if it was uncommon in limited, especially in draft. At uncommon it would likely circle the table and be the last pick for everybody, however if one player happens to open a Planeswalker then they draft every copy at the table, essentially giving them enough copies to ensure they'd be able to cast their Planeswalker in every game.
Making it instant speed would also be overpowered. It would give control decks a leg up, allowing them to hold their mana up for a counter spell or tutor for a walker.
However I'd be happier if it had more utility, maybe it would be better if it could search for an ally creature card or Planeswalker, or maybe cost it at 1WB and give it the ability to tutor for a Planeswalker or return a walker from the graveyard to your hand.
I like the card, but it doesn't seem strong enough for Standard or Modern play. Maybe if it was an instant it would be able to, but as a sorcery I doubt it.

The reason Quicken doesn`t see much play is that if you need Quicken to make a card good, you shouldn`t be playing that card anyway. Quicken is mostly a trap.

Obligitory good in commander.
White tutors for artefacts and enchantments too, just not to recently.
In agreement about it being popular in commander, highlander and casual. Also as people are discussing, maybe potential in constructed as well.
msun: Knives scoop ice cream.
Highroller: No they don't, knives don't scoop. Spoons scoop.
msun: Well, knives SHOULD scoop icecream.
Highroller: We have spoons that do it. Moreover, the shape of a knife that would scoop ice cream would make it horrible for performing the functions of a knife.
msun: Highroller, you bring up spoons as though they were the utensil used for scooping ice cream.

Essentially if a card ever references a planeswalker, you can assume it'll be Rare, particularly hyper-narrow ones like this. They don't want a lot of cards that directly interact with Planeswalkers in any particular draft, due to planeswalkers showing up fairly rarely.
If it were uncommon or common it would show up way too often in draft, where it is an utterly dead card. So as not to have dead cards in (most) drafts, they pump this sort of thing up to rare. It has nothing to do with being strong in limited, but rather with it screwing with limited at lower rarities.
I was unclear. What I was confused about was not it being rare instead of uncommon but being rare instead of mythic rare. Till now I linked planeswalker only stuff with mythic rarity.

Interestingly, I never see people use Quicken to make good cards better. It can instant speed Anger of the Gods, Pyroclasm, *** effects, Draw-Step Thoughtseize/Inquisition, etc. And if you have literally nothing else to do, you can cycle.
I personally think it would be hilarious to see someone toss in 4 Quickens into a deck that runs sorcery speed cards to begin with, just to punk people out with instant speed effects. Probably not very good, though.

If it were so, there will be more than raised pitchforks.

The pitchforks would be raised because if it were it would cost W and be an instant. This card is disappointing to me, the cost feels too high but I will play it in my naya super friends EDH deck. The color makes since due to white being community oriented. Also Ajani, Mentor of Heroes and Ajani Steadfast do help support the idea that this should be white.

Storm Crow is strictly worse than Seacoast Drake.
White could also tutor enchantments.
