Well looks like we'll have 10 filterlands, 5 Battle lands and 5 meh-put-something-in-this-slot-rarely-played-utility-lands, what would be the 3 others ?
It was 2 actually, which I mentioned in the first post until I fixed it

I assume they'll use lands that aren't too specific to a certain plane. Boseiju is a location on Kamigawa, so I'm quite sure it won't show up on Zendikar. A Wasteland can show up on any plane. Although I don't dare to imagine the price tag on an Expedition Wasteland ...

I was half expecting the manlands in the other 10 slots after filters, but I like the idea of random lands showing up, as long as they are decent. Forbidden Orcard is a little too meh for my taste, but the art is pretty great.
I can't see Ancient Tomb seeing print in OGW, but I would definitely be okay being wrong.
Jeez. Ancient tomb is probably gonna be like 300. Legacy/vintage/EDH all want this. -_- Art is amazing too

You know they'll still be people upset that the man-lands didn't get expeditons despite people telling them that the expedition frames don't have enough text space for it.

Before they re-return to zendikar they'll have to re-return to many other planes, me and other OCD-players can't handle an incomplete cycle that long
I honestly don't think we'll getting the Enemy DualChecks in Oath, simply because I don't see two UR, BG and RW-producing lands at rare in the same small set - it's pretty much obvious that manlands in those colors will be in Oath.
Also, Ancient Tomb is 36/45 in the Expeditions, while Forbidden Orchard is 39/45. While it does leave the possibility of space for Enemy-Colored DualChecks at 41-45, I think Wizards will order full cycles in the numbering before miscellaneous lands like Tomb and Orchard. Mystic Gate is apparently 26/45, which fits that theory.
1 to 5: Battle for Zendikar Allied Dualchecks
6 to 15: Shocklands
16 to 25: Fetchlands
26 to 35: Filterlands
36 to 45: Miscellaneous Lands
Also, Ancient Tomb being 36/45 means there's no space for Academy Ruins.
I really hope for wasteland, rishadan port and Gaeas cradle. Seems to fit the legacy/vintage feel of these extra lands. However I don't think we will get named lands. Will probably be something meh like vesuva, glimmervoid or even city of brass. I think the lands will be colourless or all colours. I doubt they would print a dual colour or mono colour land.
We already had the five Tango lands in BFZ. We will not receive a full cycle (as in, enemey colors). Yes, you may quote me on this in three weeks.
I think they'll complete the cycle, if they don't do it now we will have to wait until we come back again to zendikar to have the full battle land expedition cycle.
A re-return to Zendikar is practically garantueed. The story builds up to one major cliffhanger.

This is a really farfetched idea and it probably has a 1% chance of happening but...
ancient tomb shows cards don't have to be modern legal what if the cycle is completed but only for expeditions. The cycle would be complete and usable in Legacy just not modern legal.
I just highly doubt they will print the whole cycle because they wanted to be cautious as to what happens to modern
Unexpected.
But stample or not, neither of these cards is particularly expensive compared to fetches/shocks. (tbf not many lands are and those are mostly on the reserved list)
An expedition Wasteland would probably sell this set better than the whole theros block combined though. Hardcore lottery!
Expeditions are now the only thing that sell this set, most of the other mythic/rares are not even standard playable.
Care to link the spoiled set? I would love to start brewing already

We also dont need to wait for a return to zendikar to get the rest of the lands. Duel color lands have purposely generic names so they can go in basically any plane. Now its possible that oath has the 5 remaining tango lands but considering the 5 we have line up with the 5 remaining continents of Zendikar I doubt it.

SonofaBith - Wizards was so excited about making the packaging for Modern Masters 2 recyclable, they decided to make most of the rares and all but 1 of the UC's recycle-bin ready too. Convenient!
I feel like this really does open the door for actual wasteland--The idea of wastes being a card, the fact that wasteland benefits from the <> change--it all points too it. I wonder what the price on such a thing would be?
I also agree with those that suggest we are probably sticking to lands that make sense in the Zendikar plane. Personally, I doubt we'll see parts of other complete cycles (so no printing only two manlands or something). They also aren't going to break the reserved list (so no city of traitors or gaea's cradle, etc.). Reasonable speculation targets IMO are Temple of the False God(probably fits the theme, EDH staple and only one previous foil printing, benefits from the errata), Horizon Canopy(heavily played card, no cycle to break), Grove of the Burnwillows(see canopy), Eye of Ugin(played, on theme), maybe even something like Cavern of Souls.

Can't they be the lands that start the expeditions in BFZ and the lands that end the expeditions in OGW ?
1 to 5: Battle for Zendikar Allied Battle Lands
...
41 to 45: Oath of the Gatewatch Enemy Battle Lands
Thoughts about this theory ?
Like I said, until a card from 41 to 45 is previewed, the chance is still there. My main reason for not thinking the Enemy DualChecks are in Oath simply comes from that we know that the UR, BG and RW manlands are very likely to be in and I don't really see Wizards putting in a small set 2 rare lands that produce those colors.

Wasteland fits perfectly. Would be a good card to reprint with the meta also.

Wat.
No. That's not a thing. Ancient tomb is not a card that will ever be standard legal.
Generals meant to be drafted first in a single pack of 6 cards.
And here is the actual cube, meant to be drafted in 4 regular sized packs. (60 card decks)

Both of these lands are among the most played cards in their respective formats (Legacy for the Tomb, Vintage for the Orchard).
IIRC Orchard was responsible for Oath of Druids being banned in Legacy.

36: Ancient Tomb LOCK
37: Cavern of Souls Agreed
38: Dust Bowl (or Eye of Ugin) I think Deserted Temple, Crystal Quarry, and Exotic Orchard are all just as likely
39: Forbidden Orchard LOCK
40: ??? Grove of the Burnwillows
41: ??? Horizon Canopy
42: Mana Confluence I think Mutavault works better
43: Reflecting Pool Agreed I put Petrified Field here as a possibility
44: Strip Mine Not going to happen since it is banned in Legacy, is a strictly better Wasteland, and would warp any limited game it would show up in. Potentially Thawing Glaciers or Reflecting Pool
45: Wasteland Agreed
