Why is that we got a Jace fnm promo art and not a Gideon one yet? Seriously, we got Nissa, but not Gideon who was supposed to be the face of BFZ. This is also the 2nd fnm promo art depicting jace. Come on, couldn't we get Tamiyo or someone? Heck a merfolk would do.
Because he's Jace, and since Wizards has a stiffy for him, everyone else should too.

If you hate Jace you're playing the wrong game, and Wizards won't let anyone take BLUE's spotlight for as long as the color/Jace himself exist.

You know what its like to spend 3x as much on a card just because of it being an fnm promo over its standard foil e dition?
Do you know what it's like to not be able to play Legacy because certain people (collectors) artificially raise the price of lands in a trading card GAME?
Sorry, I'm not trying to attack you personally, but I cannot feel sympathy for collectors, who are a group of individuals that destroy the game for PLAYERS.
While I don't have any inherent personal hatred towards the concept of collectors, it's slightly offensive that a collector can whine about not having a specific piece of shiny cardboard while the reason many people own Magic cards suffers as a result of other people's avarice.

Wouldn't it be neat if we got something like a mythic for an FNM promo? Like Dragonmaster Outcast or Undergrowth Champion, or maybe one of the Fate Khans before they leave the standard environment (Tasigur, Yasova). Or, maybe, one of the flipwalkers. That'd get people playing more FNM. Hell, the Dragonlords would make for awesome promos! And that's only standard; There's The Theros Gods, Ravnica Guildmasters, big angels of old Magic, big, stompy dragons, old 'walkers, etc... that could all work as a cool promo, especially during the holiday months. It'd be like a holiday promo treat.

If you take a look at the order FNM promo cards are released, you'll notice that it's chronological. Right now we're in the "Magic Origins period", therefore from your list Dispel is the only valid candidate for the future.
Important thing to note that people have missed - the source is the same Twitter feed that handed us Kozilek 2.0 and Wastes. Everyone seems to be 100% sure this promo is a thing. So I guess that makes Kozi and Wastes a lot more of a thing too.

The problem with defining this format by what is "fun" is that everyone seems to define fun as what they don't lose to. If you keep losing to easily answered cards, that means you should improve your deck. If you don't want to improve your deck, then you should come to peace with the idea that you are going to lose because you chose to not interact with better strategies.
