The new Boros legends just didn't do it for me this time. Maybe some day in the future I'll get one based off of Searing Meditation or some other interesting, non-combat-oriented effect.
How weird that it adds up to being a 13/13. Seems like weird values for a boros card. Mostly seen in "evil" cards lik a Withegar or Ludevics abomination. Then that old Korean card. Oh and death shadow.

To the people that say that a card needs to be a higher rarity because of Limited... I hate you guys so much. I present to you with this.
The RW deck is the deck that's coming packaged with Scytheclaw because of Anya.
Nope. According to Wizards, Scytheclaw is part of a cycle of new cards that use mechanics connected with the home plane of the main commander of each deck.
UR - Mizzix - Mizzix's Mastery (Overload)
GU - Ezuri - Scytheclaw (Living Weapon)
RW - Kalemne - Kalemne's Captain (Monstrosity)
WB - Daxos - Unknown (Unknown, but probably Heroic)
GB - Meren - Unknown (Unknown, but I'm leaning towards Unearth on account of her necromantic ways)
It's true that Scytheclaw works better with Anya, though. It's one of the few decks I'd want to use it in.
Funny how this is pretty much exactly a copy of the Bloodthirsty Vampires ability from OG Zendikar but on an angel and commander-friendly.
The real question is: Is she from Ravnica or Innistrad? (Leaning towards Innistrad)
My money's on Innistrad, honestly. Mainly because between Mizzix, Mazirek, and Karlov, our cup runneth over with Ravnicans. The only Innistrad native we've seen is the reprinted Gisela. Having two Innistraders in one deck seems a little "eh" to me, but it's better than having her be a member of the legion.
She wants you to win with commander damage, but you have to have already done a bunch of damage with other things first for her to start getting bigger and indestructible. Then, once you kill one of your opponents she shrinks again. Never mind the fact that she does nothing to advance your gameplan by herself while being in the worst color combination in the game.
Why do you hate Boros so much, Wizards? Both of these new legends are terrible. We needed someone that gave some form of card advantage, and we got yet another mediocre beatstick.
WB - Daxos - Unknown (Unknown, but probably Heroic)
GB - Meren - Unknown (Unknown, but I'm leaning towards Unearth on account of her necromantic ways)
I would hazard bestow it probably more synergistic for Daxos's deck and since Meren is from Jund, devour is the Jund mechanic from Alara and probably more likely.

I'm still most interested in Gisela, Blade of Goldnight as far as a RW commanders go.

EDIT: Well, I meant to quote the guy who mentioned Bestow for the Daxos deck mechanic. Anyways, either would work.
