3 times Nature's Spiral or recuring three permanents would cost 3GGG
1.5 times Explosive Vegetation or looking for three basic lands to put into play tapped would cost roughly 4GG
3 times Earthen Arms (can't find a better card to compare to) or distributing three times two +1/+1 couters among up to three target creatures would cost 3GGG
Here you can fit the mode to your needs. This card is pretty good as is.
The read one unfortuntely can't direct damage a planeswalker.
It's Rampant Growth, not Veg. Which three of would indeed cost 3GGG. This card is fairly costed when you look at it that each mode cost 1G.
I really want to add this card to my Freyalise, Llanowar's Fury EDH as soon as I get it. Even though it costs 6 mana, a green deck can easily cast it through ramping or effects that give double mana.
If this would be 2GG , the modes would be really worth it, at 6 meh , value is just not cool enough.
But that doesnt make it unplayable ...
Oh come on. 4 CMC? Explosive Vegetation is already a good card, and it only gets 2 basics for 4 CMC.
The point of "good card" isnt that clear.
Ofcourse its not a bad card, but theres a very limited amount of decks that actual want that card.
I am talking in the "rare" level of constructed , which simply requires undercosted cards to matter at all, "fairly costed" just doesnt cut it.
And these cards in normal magic are Legacy cards, so they have to match that kind of powerlevel.
At 2GG it would still be a hard sell for Legacy, as the card doesnt really do anything that you truly matters in that world.
If the card would be type 2, yes, it would be way too strong at that cost, but as it is, the card totally could be 2GG and it wouldnt even be a problem at all (but then its modes would all be worth the investment).

Um, no they don't. This isn't Legacy, this is a casual multiplayer format that incentivizes big, splashy plays and cards that aren't utilized in more competitive formats...like Legacy, because they don't stand up to the power levels of those formats.
If you are evaluating cards based on power level in Legacy, you're doing it wrong. I think you might prefer playing Tiny Leaders over Commander, if that's the case.
i think this thing is pretty solid in mono-g... and not at all worth it anywhere else. at 6 mana its a little on the expensive side and kind of feels like win more.
Come to think of it, this may well replace Nissa's Expedition in my Xira Arien deck. It costs more, but it ramps harder if desired and provides nice versatility.
I'm in love with this card! I WISH the lands came into play untapped, but given the format, and that it only targets basic lands, I doubt it'll be much of an issue. These confluences in general seem rather fun, and this one in particular seems far more flexible.

If only cards that are Legacy playable are good you should go play Legacy and not bother with Kitchen Table Commander

This isn't the Commander forum either, to be fair.
Even in mono-green EDH, this is a little expensive. It's not an instant, so the +1/+1 counter mode is pretty bad. Fetching basic lands isn't particularly great for 6 mana either; the closest thing to this is something like Bounldess Realms, which at least lets you win the game if you untap. Regrowing permanents seems nice, but you need the permanents in your GY (not easy for mono-green). This is really triple Nature's Lore that can be lands if you don't have cards in your GY, and a 3rd mode you'll never use. Depending on what you need, Boundless Realms or Praetor's Counsel are cards at very similar costs, considering the distance between 6-8 mana is small in mono green.
And while the flexibility grows outside of mono-green, the growing amount of options makes this card even worse.
meh/10. At least the red command has strong effects in the right MUs (kills walkers, swarms, and artifacts). This card costs 2 more and doesn't deal with what your opponents are doing.

Reanimate sucks cause it needs cards like Entomb to work.

Omnonomnath is going to really enjoy this one. I wonder what I'll cut for it. Nissa's Renewal? I'm not sure.

The card would be REALLY good at 4. But I agree at 6 it's not that impressive. Personally, I think it should have been 3GG
