So everyone has been focusing on the bloody feather and twisted symbol, but no love for the extremely prominent moon? With everyone asking for more werewolves, I would see some sort of Moon getting closer=more werewolves/ more aggressive werewolves. Would also be a nice way to work in Tamiyo, a popular planeswalker who has been left out in the dark for a long time.
I still think a day/night mechanic would be fun tho I guess the DFC Werwolves kinda does that already.
Imagine having cards that does something when it´s daytime on Innistrad and when Darkness Falls ***** is going to happend.
Human Medic 1WHitE (No idea what´s happening with the mana symbols but it´s suppose to cost 1 colorless and 1 white mana)
1/2
At the beginning of your upkeep you may roll a dice.
If it´s an even number the sun raises above Innistrad and all humans get´s +1+1 until end of turn
If it´s an uneven number, the moon raises above Innistrad. Transform Human Medic.
Werewolf Medic
2/3
Werewolves get´s +1+1
If the sun is above Innistrad Transform Werewolf Medic
Lol I don´t know
Maybe cards that transform/have different effects after certain amounts of time have passed during a game. After your 6th turn for instance. It would be something I'd want to see on rare powerful cards, not too many.
Day and night mechanic is literally what transform was first conceived of. It even used turn for effect but for many good reason transform is better.

Look, I know that Serra Avenger exists, and people like to think that that's some kind of precedent for "after X turns" cards, but keeping track of whether you're still in your first three turns is easy. It gets progressively harder each turn to remember what turn it is, as all the variables you'd use to track that get less reliable. Having even a single card that cares about your turn six will cause more judge headaches than it's worth, to say nothing about the horrors that would ensue if there were multiple.
If those "Echoes" are true you may see them "reprinted", in that they will be Expedition level rare. If Echoes are fake then you will most likely be waiting for Modern Master 3 (probably 2017), and I bet Snapcaster Mage will be mythic for no reason.
Snapcaster Mage will not be mythic in MM2017, the only cards that have been upgraded to mythic rarity are cards that were printed before the mythic rarity existed.
There are few mythic spots and there is way more chances a mythic gets reprinted at mythic than downgraded for a Snapcaster upgrade... Snapcaster Mage is not a card that breaks limited in any particular way so I don't see it upgraded to mythic for limited purposes. Like Noble Hierarch last year it will get reprinted but keep its rarity.
Tarmogoyf doesn't break limited either and yet it is mythic, when the only reason it is is thanks to its history of being strong everywhere else, minus the time it was in Standard and some years after that. To be fair it may be stronger with Innistrad coming around and there being a chance of self mill coming around.
I'd like for Snapcaster Mage to not be mythic, but it honestly wouldn't surprise me if it showed up at mythic in MM3.

There are quite a few Innistrad characters that could be legends in the upcoming set. The three major Howlpack Alphas, the two remaining Vampire Lineage progenitors (Edgar Markov and Runo Stromkirk - Falkenrath's progenitor is dead), Ludevic (who is the only Innistrad character in a card name that doesn't have his own card yet), Jenrik, Volpaig (Avacynian Bishop and Leader of the Skirsdag cult).

To represent the Day/Night cycle for DFCs this time around, I'd figured they could make use of the starting player's upkeep to transform all DFCs uniformly.
"At the beginning of the starting player's upkeep, transform all Human Werewolves."
"Werewolves enter the battlefield transformed."
"At the beginning of the starting player's upkeep, transform all non-Human Werewolves."
Perhaps we'll see a new take on Prowl that captures the predatory nature of Innistrad's monsters? It could make use of a subtype variable similar to typecycling that allows the mechanic to function on noncreature cards without relying on the now-defunct Tribal supertype. It depends on how much they want to push the tribal theme of course.

MTGS Wikia Article about "New World Order"
Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.
Wizards said they would invest more in their story, and right now, the open arcs we have are these:
Sorin searching for Nahiri by Ugin's Request.
Liliana's quest to be free of the Veil's Curse and her Demonic Pacts.
The whereabouts of Emrakul.
Other current plots:
New Phyrexia
Elspeth in Theros' Underworld and Ajani's Rage against the heavens.
Bolas's continued attempts and plans to regain his pre-mending powers/become immortal again.
The painstakingly slow restoration of Dominaria.
Jace's lost memories.
Chandra's homeworld.
Niv-Mizzet looking for a way to circumvent the new guildpact.
Alara adapting to becoming whole again.
The truth of the Church of Avacyn getting out or not.
And that is just of the top of my head.
Forget the DOminaria one considering MaRo wanted to remove said plane from the centre of the multiverse and forget about it during Dragons Maze.
Also you forgot about the recent story about the church of Orzhov breaking the Guildpact rules and imprisoning the RW mazerunner.
Considering that MaRo has stated, several times even, that he wants to revisit Dominaria again, I don't think I want to forget that plot point, as it will show up again. There is a big difference between removing focus on a plane and never visiting it again.

It's about time for the reserved list to die, for the sake of Vintage and Legacy (And Commander).
I hope there is no eldrazi, people think they want more Eldrazi but the Eldrazi will get boring if we put them everywhere.
It is extremely unlikely that we will get the Eldrazi again for a good while. No, what is wrong on Innistrad is completely different, and much more sinister.

I guess a resonable plot is that Emrakul went from Zendikar to Innistrad and then somewhere else. So we don't see Emrakul in SOI block, but see traces of her presence.
But I still put my two coins on her being on Innistrad
To all those suggesting new ways to represent day/night mechanically:
WotC already tried a metric buttload of different ways of representing that in-game when they were designing the first Innistrad block. You guys do realize that, right? That's why transform in general, and the werewolf trigger specifically, exist.

Why is this Emrakul theory cropping up everywhere? Is it just because she's available? She has been gone from Zendikar since the end of the original Zendikar block and we've had 5 blocks on differnt planes since with no sign of her. The BFZ block changed nothing about her probability to show up, actually I think it more likely we won't see her for some time since we just had an block all about the Eldrazi threat. It would be pretty bad storytelling to break out more of the same after we were made to get invested in beating Ulamog and Kozilek right before.
So what are the "obvious signs" the Emrakul-doomsayers all see?

Eh, it was the same after Rise of the Eldrazi. Until the entire block was over, some people were convinced that the "real" villains of the block was the Eldrazi, despite it quite obviously were the Phyrexians. Same with the original Innistrad, some people were convinced that the Eldrazi would show up. And then again with RTR, with some people wanting to equate the Nephilim with the Eldrazi. It was the same god damn issue with the first couple of blocks after Invasion Block, a lot of people claimed that Yawgmoth was behind everything, despite he quite clearly got obliterated during Apocalypse.
People are silly.

Why is this Emrakul theory cropping up everywhere? [...] what are the "obvious signs" the Emrakul-doomsayers all see?
I think there are two main reasons why the Emrakul theory is so prevalent:
Firstly, we've just entered a new era of story-telling where it has been stated that the story arc will span blocks. No more "Here's Innistrad. Now forget that - here's Ravnica. Moving on and unrelated, now we're on Theros..." etc. There will be continuity from block to block, so while the venue may change, the story goes on. This is played out for certain in Jace going to Innistrad to search for Sorin and Nahiri as instructed by Ugin. But that doesn't rule out certain other story threads carrying over too...
Which leads us to secondly: The name 'Shadows over Innistrad'. It has an extremely uncanny similarity to the H.P.Lovecraft story 'The Shadow over Innsmouth'. And in the setting of the Magic universe, the Eldrazi fulfil the role of Galactus-meets-Cthulhu, so that conjures thoughts of an inevitable link.
And that, basically, is why 'ZOMG! EMRAKUL!!!'

Ah Ha! Clearly the shadow over Innistrad is Emramoth the Father of Torn Aeons! After all, Yawgmoth could become a death cloud, Emrakul flies like a cloud and kills like something deadly so obviously the only possible story line is that Sarkhan is actually Urza but doesn't know it because he hasn't traveled far enough in time to stop New Phyrexia from converting Ravnica to the religion of the Theros gods after the Oathwatch recruit Bolas to kill Ugin in the past when Ugin is revealed to be a sentient spawn of Ulamog who had devoured Nahiri only for her to be reborn as The Phoenix that starts disintegrating worlds before Garruk kills her using telepathy learned from choking Jace to death with Chain Veil he received for recycling Tezzeret into a new axe he used to kill Vraska whose head he brought to Liliana turning her to stone only to find out that Dack Fayden had stolen the Chain Veil and became cursed becoming a Elvis Impersonator until he was killed by Narset wielding Kaldra's armor she received for helping Karn hunt down Elseth in the Underworld so Karn could use her spark to bring back Venser so Venser could teleport them to 1944 Innistrad to stop Edgar Markov from forming the Vampire party and exterminating the humans causing Tibalt's spark to ignite leading him to the dark side and plunging the multiverse into an era of evil where the brave rebel Han Solo and his faithful partner Ajani fight the evil imperial forces of Darth Zarek and his lightning hands.
Huge props to anyone who can make sense of Magic's upcoming plot because I surely can't.

Except, the Eldrazi are about as Lovecraftian as Homer Simpson. Yeah, sure they are Tentacled Eldritch Abominations that want to eat the world, but they are not Lovecraftian. There is no sense of dread and inescapable doom with the Eldrazi. They are more akin to a force of nature than a lovecraftian horror. The original Innistrad block did lovecraftian horror a lot better than Rise and BFZ block ever did.
Think about it, the humans of Innistrad are essentially cattle for the planes vampires and Avacyn, their great defender, is their Shepherd. There is no escape for the innistradi humans, they will either end up food or monsters themselves, or breed a new generation of food. Heck, the only reason they haven't been rendered extinct already is because Sorin realized that without humans the vampires would starve, thus he created Avacyn to "protect the herd". This is much more in line with Lovecrafts writing than anything Eldrazi related. Heck, even the zombies of innistrad, be they Skaaben or Necromantic in origin are closer to Lovecraft in tone, which anyone who has read about Herbert West or seen Reanimator can attest to.
Innistrad is Lovecraft Country, Zendikar is an Adventure World.

From what I've read about Lovecraft's writings (I never read them myself) is that they feature the world we see being an illusion of the true evil that is going on. So I think Krishnath is right there. I see the Eldrazi as transdimensional beings of destruction, but not of horror.

If I did know something, I wouldn't be able to tell you.
Much more likely to have gone to another plane with an overabundance of mana, such as Shandalar.
