In today's article of Days of Future Future, there is a "Raise an Army Combo" deck that has a card call Perilous Journey listed under the Other section.I searched the Gatherer and couldn't find that card. Could it possibly from Oath of the Sea Gate?
Maybe. But that seems like a weird inclusion for that particular deck. 7 mana to return a single permanent? I understand that there's a recursion theme here (March from the Tomb), but Profound Journey would be really off-curve. Then again, Stoddard does say this deck is about helping Allies recover from sweepers, so maybe they did include it for that reason... I also don't know why they would test Oath cards in a BFZ FFL. So maybe it is just a typo.
Value is good. But Dredgevine isn't supposed to be about value. It's supposed to be about V-8; 2000 pounds of nitro boosted war vegetables. The more velocity, the better.

It's also sorted as "other" rather than sorcery, although I imagine that has to do with the site auto-sorting cards in decklists rather than anything about what type of card it is.
This has to be a typo. The card probably cost much less mana originally, but it makes perfect sense to include given that flashing it back with Jace results in it rebounding and going back to your graveyard.

If FFL uses Profound Journey for Standard, said players should be raging whether R&D is taking the job seriously.
You have to remember, this is the same people who thought orator of ojutai was good to bring back with Ojutai's command or that it would see enough play for a promo.
Also, hate reading that prisim array was once playable then became the unplayable jank it is...

We also have to remember that many of the cards were different in the FFL than they are now. Mostly a lot of the mana costs were different, not just on the cards noted but on a lot of other cards, too. That leads to a very different meta than what actually ends up happening.
Anywho, as far as the op goes, I do think it was most likely a typo for profound journey as the card does fit with what the deck was trying to do and may have just been a bit cheaper back then to make it playable.

I'm actually really happy they made the change. The version they were testing before was too powerful in a very unfun way. Parallax Wave was brutal enough back in the day, but to have a version that could reset itself is a pretty terrible idea. Even if the effect was weaker (tapping vs. temporary exiling), it would lead to too many stalled board states and repetitive game play.
It was originally "WUBRG: Return Prism Array to your hand." Got changed to Scry 3 because it was too good against creature decks.
Lol, i can't believe this. Limited is really butchering magic
Wait, what? This was in FFL constructed that it was too strong, not limited. The way it was basically allowed for a really strong turbo-fog strategy that creature decks just couldn't get around because, even with enchantment removal, you could just bounce it back to your hand in response.
Why change Prism Array's ability to scry 3 and keep it at rare? It still wouldn't have seen as much play in limited as Sphinx's Tutelage did even it it was just an uncommon.
Personally I'd say they could have at least given it the ability to anticipate for WUBRG, that or remove the activated ability altogether and give it the ability to be cast from the graveyard (not nearly as broken as bouncing it, there are so few sac outlets for enchantments that it would be hard to get it into the graveyard).

Same way PvP is ruining MMOs, I guess.

That change had nothing to do with Limited. Prism Array as it was would have been way too good for Standard.
