As unlikely as there being a card that comes before aethersnatch is, aesthetically of the two it makes more sense. 5 5 5 5 6 feels more likely than 6 4 5 5 6 in terms of rare division. It also means each colour outside of green gets one ''colourless' rare. Also none of the the blue rares have an aesthetic that fits with Kaseto. Knowing the Confluence is almost certainly in UR and Scytheclaw is in GU of the three remaining blue rares which two would you put in GU? Synthetic Destiny is a gimme, but the other two? Mizzix is quoted on one and is clearly Ravnica the other is a control spell and the name of the UR deck is seize control. Granted some of the connections of Rares to commanders are somewhat tenuous but nothing screams i don't match this deck's flavour as much as those two do.
This is where I'm at right now. I think that the Dreamy Dragon is in the R/W deck because it fits the big boros theme they're going for, and the Aethersnatch is in the U/R deck because it fits the spell theme.
Daxos has a lot of high value reprints. Def grabbing it as well as the UR or BG decks (maybe both). They all look pretty good. Dunno how I feel about the Simic deck, though.
What deck is Wretched Confluence going into, and is it really an instant (all the other confluences are sorceries) - A Toshiro player would like to know.
Mystic Confluence is an Instant, and a better Jace's Ingenuity. Still can't believe the third and first modes (respectively) of the blue and black one are practically the same. WTF man wizards...
love all these decks. At least this time they made it so none of the decks are actually worth more than the others. Nemesis, containment priest, wurmcoil engine.... The boros reprint general is meh (still probably the best), if anything boros deck needed some love. Lightning helix, boros charm, sunforger or something. I honestly was expecting the dual colored god's of theros to be reprinted, athreos, keranos, pharika, kruphix, and iroas seem like good reprint possibilities. Maybe we will get the other color pairs for the next commander set.
I like that 2 of the tainted lands are around/back, as I thought they provided fixing for a relatively small downside (having to have a swamp in play first, as opposed to taking damage when you tap for the colored mana like you would with a painland), while still being able to use it for colorless mana the turn it comes out if you put it out w/o a swamp being in play already.
Yeah noticed I have most of the cards already cept the new ones. These decks look fun to play but other than that there isn't any huge money cards or did I miss something?
The high-value cards in wide-release (ie, not Arsenal) Commander products are almost always new cards with applications in Legacy (True-Name Nemesis, Flusterstorm, etc.).
I can't remember if a Commander (other than Arsenal) product has ever had a reprint worth over $20. Oblivion Stone, I guess? That's probably the only one.
Personally, I'm excited for new-frame reprints of Dragon Mage, Black Market, and Stroke of Genius... because I'm one of those weirdos who actually prefers the new card frame.

New Frame Stroke was in the last commander deck if you missed it.
(I also prefer the modern frame)

Well damn, nice to see a reprint of sol ring for each deck, and a command tower too, though would have been nice to get greaves in all of them instead of just 3 maybe. Still a lot of great staples seen here, glad I went for Izzet and Simic, one with that great new artifact and the other with the land

Current Commander Decks:
Thraximundar
Sidisi, Brood Tyrant
Prossh, Skyraider of Kher
Oloro, Ageless Ascetic
Trostani, Selesnya's Voice
Dragonlord Ojutai
Prime Speaker Zegana
Ruric Thar, The Unbowed
While I don't think they're as good out of the box as the 2014 decks (aside from the blue deck which was ass), they're probably better than the 2011 and 2013 decks. Some of the generals will also certainly be fun to build around as well.
Those mana bases suck.
I'm also not sure if I'm dissapointed about no new art, or actually happy because a lot of the old cards that are seeing the modern frame for the first time actually look beautiful in a proper frame.
Will buy Daxos because Arena, Market and Justice are already worth 2/3rd of MSRP. May buy the BG one because you can never have enough elves and sakura elders. But the rest I'm just getting singles once they crash.
Looks decent, except for the fact that Boros was horribly f*cked in the entire exchange. "Let's play expensive creatures" is rarely a good strategy in any color that isn't Green or perhaps Blue.
I'm a little bit disappointed. I don't think these decks have particularly good/interesting cards. Most of them look actually kinda bad to play right out of the box, which is sad given that last years the decks were pretty solid in general (exception being the blue one). Yeah, I think this will be my first year skipping the commander product.

Was hoping for more Legacy stuff, but that isn't the purpose of the product so I certainly wasn't expecting anything. Brainstorm and Preordain in the U/R though.
There's some pretty good stuff in these. Nothing I want to buy, since I don't play Commander, but these look like they have some solid stuff for those who do.
I think we've reached the point where we can abandon real life currency to buy and sell cards and just use sol rings instead. "Oh, how much for this Jace the Mind Sculptor? 250 sol rings? Great, let me get some of the piles that I have back home".

After seeing the deck lists I think WoTC fears reprinting anything of actual value to modern players in commander decks. I understand they want some chase rares that are ridiculously expensive so people will keep cracking packs, but they got so many under printed oldies of actual play value it seems like a waste to use slots on underplayed cards.
On the otherhand, Commander is still the one format where the actual pre-built decks are playable. The last batches of intro decks have been so horrible that I've been steering anyone interested in playing new sets to put the money towards drafting.
(Or buy singles once deck builders have posted some budgety janky deck goodness.)
1. (Ravnica Allegiance): You can't keep a good esper control deck down... Or Wilderness Reclamation... or Gates...
2. (War of the Spark): Guys, I know what we need! We need a cycle of really idiotic flavor text victory cards! Jace's Triumph...
3. (War of the Spark): Lets make the format with control have even more control!

Definitely buying W/B.
Quickly gut and fill it for Tiny Leaders in minutes.
Selling some cards I don't want.
