Red is Chandra as seen on the Oath of Gatewatch preview art:
I would guess that the other is a wild card but I have my hopes that it will be Nahiri. I wish they'd actually tell us what happened to her.
INB4 she is Ashaya...
...Except the Oath of the Gatewatch preview art also included Nissa and Jace (and Gideon, but he already got a card this block). Why are you assuming that out of the three, Chandra will be the one to get a card?
The due to fact that Nissa is featured prominently in more OotG preview arts compared to the others, plus the fact that we've already seen a new picture of Nissa in the dimensions of planeswalker art, it would be foolish to claim that Nissa won't be in Oath.
They did. She now was horrified by the Elvish racism she experienced on Lorwyn.
Of course, the elf waifu must be perfect
She was kinda endearing when she was a racist, flawed, over-reacting embodiment of Murphy's Law. Now she's just another "strong female character!"
Next they'll make Liliana a saint and dress her in a burka to continue appeasing the SJW overlords.
The main character in Zendikar IMO is Nissa, followed by Gideon. I'm pretty sure she has a slot in Oath. IF you're the main character of Zen and your card's not in it you're doing it wrong.
And since red is missing, Chandra will probably be the other walker.
Oh, for sure Nissa. There's no way we won't get Nissa. She's played too big a role not to. Chandra I'm not as sure about. Jace and Ugin, while both being present, are pretty clear "outs". And Jace also has an Oath picture. Chandra has more of a cause to be in for the reason you provided but "in theory" they don't decide what planeswalker cards to have in any given set with color balance in mind (though in practice this has not been true since Scars Block, which had no green, so take any 'we don't box check' claims with a grain of salt).

If you recall what was stated during ComicCon, the new direction is story telling as a priority. Jace has had a minor role so far but has been featured on several cards. So has Nissa. However, Gideon (who was featured on a few cards and the same goes for Ob) was not featured as much. Ugin is presented on 3-4 cards as well however they will probably not reprint him. Sorin may appear in OotG but will probably not warrant another reprint.
On the story aspect, we had a brief view of what Nahiri had been up to in the UR series (she lies dormant in Akoum and protects the Hedron network. However, she just vanished from the story afterwards. Having some form of closure would be appreciated from the point of view of the story.
Finally, every block or so, they tend to fill out as symmetrically as possible the color pie. We are missing 1 color and arguably 1 more type in the planeswalker slots: Red and perhaps a green thematic. Red will most likely be filled with a red planeswalker we all know: Chandra who is featured on the art.
The last planeswalker could be Nissa and hopefully the last time we hear about her since she was retconed into a feel machine. However, since she is featured prominently everywhere in all the cards (similarly to Jace), I would argue they may not reprint her. Inversely, Nahiri has been hinted at repeatedly over and over and much like Ob, she may eventually get that first print.
I don't like baseless speculation such as "new picture of Nissa in the dimensions of planeswalker art". We have had this issue several times before and most of the time it turns out that it's just promo art on posters, nothing else.
That's still way too generous. Ob Nixilis Reignited's murder is a -3 as a 5-mana planeswalker.
I mean, elspeth, sun's champion has pretty absurd abilities. You could have a PW with murder for 0 that cost 3BBB and started with 2 loyalty probably. But yeah, either way, I doubt we're ever seeing a PW with murder 0 unless it's a new nicol bolas that is like 4RBBU.
I don't like baseless speculation such as "new picture of Nissa in the dimensions of planeswalker art". We have had this issue several times before and most of the time it turns out that it's just promo art on posters, nothing else.
Really? 'Cause by my count, it's the exact opposite. The first glimpse we got of Gideon Jura was a piece of art in the correct dimensions. (I remember all the people who'd read The Purifying Fire calling that the art was of Gideon.) Same with Sarkhan the Mad. And, just off the top of my head, Elspeth Tirel, Tezzeret, Agent of Bolas, Chandra, the Firebrand, Sorin, Lord of Innistrad, and Ajani, Caller of the Pride. The only times I can recall the art being just some promotional piece was that image of Chandra melting a grate behind her for M14, and the arts of the Origins planeswalkers looming over their younger selves (and those arts were very obviously not planeswalker arts).
And regardless of all that, Nissa is the most prominent figure on WotC's official announcement page for Oath of the Gatewatch. Every time a planeswalker is front and center in the art featured on the official announcement page like that, they get a card in that very set. My speculation is hardly baseless.
It has always been the case. If you're the face of said block and your card's not in it fans are gonna be pissed. How about a Mickey Mouse cartoon without him? I know that Wizards are in a weird 2-block paradigm now but can't it be a novelty to herald a new era? Tying the story to gameplay would be awesome if we had the entire cast just for the block. Wizards has done gimmicks year in year out; so it was strange, a shock actually to only see 2 for Oath. It's more like oof to me.
they don't decide what planeswalker cards to have in any given set with color balance in mind
In fact now, they do. Because they've faced criticism in the past for not being "fair". It affects the way Standard is played out; naturally they're conscious of that. I would be shocked if there wasn't a red walker in Oath.
The allies in BFZ are centered in white with 22 white cards that are the ally creature type or make ally creatures (including white multicolored allies). The next two biggest ally colors are Red and Black, both with 9 cards that are allies or care about allies, 3rd is green with 8 Allies and Blue has 4 (I'm including multicolored cards).
I feel that on the off chance that Nahiri does show up as a Planeswalker card in Oath of the Gatewatch, we could see her as a red white Planeswalker since it has been a while since the last RW walker and it would themematically make sense that she would be in a major ally color pair and I feel Black white makes less sense than Red White (mainly because she isn't a vampire, Sorin fills the BW role at the moment). Omnath branched over into red, so why not Nahiri?
I know Chandra is more likely because of the revealed art, but so far there has been little to no mention of Chandra in the current BFZ storyline. However, the question of what has happened to Nahiri has been hanging over all the events in Zendikar since the first block.
<<Spoiler>> (I still havent figured out spoiler tags...)
With the BFZ story ending with Ulamog about to break free from the hedron network, the sudden apperance of Nahiri to save the day would make more dramatic sense, she is the planswalker that built the hedrons after all and it would make a lot of sense if she appears to help restore the power to the hedrons. If they make her RW then they would also be fufilling the red color requirement.
there is no real sense in having Nissa show up as a card in this block, as her Planeswalker flip side from Origins already essentially contains the BFZ storyline with it (Summoning Ashaya and animating lands).
Hmm so perhaps my theory that Nahiri turns up will turn out to be true. It seems weird to me that they'd print Jace and not Chandra (and vice versa) because then one of the oathwatch group of walkers would be left out. Guess we'll have to wait and see

Nissa is in the set almost certainly. This is not baseless speculation. Hell it's almost not speculation. I'm also pretty sure the second walker will be Chandra. I'm honestly surprised that there's not 6 walkers for this block.
Also: where the devil are you people getting Nahiri showing up? Last we saw her she had gone to search for Sorin and Ugin. She's really not even that important from the point of the hedrons. She just shaped them from the stone under Ugin's direction and it's his magic that powers them. She's a definite no.
I really doubt these are reprints, we haven't had a planeswalker reprint counting only normal standard legal sets since Chandra, Pyromaster and Liliana Vess came back for Magic 2015 after showing up in previous sets.
While no core set leaves a gaping void for reprinting planeswalkers I don't think that means they will just start unleashing tons of reprinted ones into the current block structure. Especially if these planeswalkers are in the story and the new card represents their change as the story progresses. I also think people are less likely to get excited by reprinted planeswalkers and planeswalkers help sell a set, so there is that. If the set only has two and they are both reprints talk about taking a lot of fire out of the set before it even hits.
While everyone is expecting Chandra, Tibalt will be crashing Oath's party. And since WOTC has now figured out how to make a playable 2CMC walker, Tibalt will be 1CMC. And utterly unplayable, of course.
I think everyone here is forgetting a few things...
First off, Wizards has Always balanced "the color pie". I have been playing since Fallen Empires, and they love color cycles as well as making each color feel like it has something to lead it such as a strong PW.
Second, the Uncharted Realms only take us so far into the stories... it's silly to suggest that certain PW's "will definitely" or "can't" appear in this next set based simply on what the current stories look like.
Third, each printing of a new version of a known PW exists because the PW went through a change, experienced new or big events, or is showing other "traits".
Fourth, Devoid. Guess who is naturally Devoid: Ugin. He has finally regained himself and his power - I propose that we will see a new Ugin, Planeswalker that costs Red possibly Red/Blue mana but is Devoid.
Nissa will have to be a bigger and better upgrade from Sage Animist - maybe Ugin helps her focus Zendikar's power!
Chandra - same thing - and a Lot of story development.
Jace - needs to play a Much bigger role in sealing/defeating the Eldrazi.
If Nahiri Does return, she will need to do more than "build" hedrons... someone on this forum suggested that she build hedrons elsewhere to deal with Emrakul or Kozilek on a different plane; but WHAT IF she finds a way to turn all of Zendikar into a Giant hedron? WHAAAAAA?!?!?!
I see your Logic Hole, and I raise you Five-Color Ugin!!! mmmwhaahahahaha!!!
He absorbs mana of each color from Zendikar and uses the increase in ability to Kill Ulamog!

While I do appreciate such enthusiasm, I recall Ugin specifically NOT wanting to kill the Eldrazi, because we're unsure of what role they could potentially play in the Multiverse ecosystem.
