A card that does nothing when played, that you have to wait until TURN 8 and have an 8th land, and has no way to protect itself or stabilize the board will never, ever see play.
There's a massive range of power level between this flying turd and griselbrand, stop pretending those are our only two options. And virtually every card sees play in EDH, saying a card will see play in EDH is pointless, it goes without saying.
Honestly k don't think she's that over costed considering how expensive most of the cards in the set are, I think she's too small for what she is. She should have had 5+ toughness, probably either a 5/5 or a 4/6.

Well, that angel can't return your lands from the 'yard, so, maybe combine it with something like Farhaven Elf and some sac outlet like Ashnod's Altar for getting ALL the plains from your library into the field? It could work like "Elf comes into play, sacrifice it before its trigger resolves, fetch a plains, return the elf to the field, repeat"
Or, Sakura-Tribe Elder, since it comes with the self-destruction included.
I guarantee the first half of the spoilers, before big common/uncommon dump, 99% of the cards someone mentioned putting them in their edh deck.
Oh, so you're changing your tune from "virtually every card" to "virtually every card, provided you don't count the cards that don't support my argument"? Convenient. Good to know. Fantastic.
But sure, I'll play your game. I may not have the time or patience to look at 137 cards (the "first half"), but I did examine the ~40 cards that were added to the MTGS spoiler before September. Only about half are EDH playable.
I don't think you understand how little I care. EDH is a waste of life, supports more cards than any other format, saying something is EDH playable is a pointless statement, please someone lock this thread.

If you don't care, then why did you bring it up in the first place, continue responding, and then whine for a mod to lock the thread? I also find it convenient that you only started claiming you don't care after I started throwing numbers around that were derived from actual facts, rather than being pulled from someone's ass the way your "99%" figure was. Here I was, all prepared to defend my point by spelling out which cards were and were not playable in EDH and why, and it turns out you've reduced yourself to the "this argument is dumb now that I'm losing, I quit" defense before I got the chance.
And anyone who has nothing better to do than insult other people all day really has no right to be making claims about what is or isn't a "waste of life".

yawn. go play some real edh.
i'm so ******* tired of seeing 'omg its great in edh' and all sides arguing it.
if you sit down at a real edh table you'll see that edh is no different from any other constructed format except that pieces of ***** think that bad cards are edh playable. get a ******* clue, they're not. thats where the great divide comes into play. you run into pieces of ***** that think dog**** is playable in edh and then complain that the group is too competitive, and then you run into other guys who know that pieces of dog **** aren't playable who call you *****. i'm so ******* tired of edh being used as a blanket statement for bad cards. its kind of like calling the kitchen table bad. they do not need to be synonymous.

I do agree with you, just because something I'd virtually unplayable in all of the 60 card formats doesn't automatically make it EDH playable, and certainly by standards of more competitive EDH. However, that being said, I do think Emeria Shephard has a lot of potential. She won't be a white staple by any means, but I think she might end up becoming a white staple in specific decks, such as Karador, Ghost Chieftan. The aforementioned sun titan + unconditionalSacoutlet + fetch land is very very powerful. And now with the tangos, you will have 2 additional basic-typed dual lands available for additional color correcting and fetching. This combination becomes even more powerfully when mixed with somethink like Krosan Tusker sure she probably won't see regular play in particularly competitive environments, but she does enough that I think she'll make an impact on specific decks in semi-competitive and casual edh environments (but not outside of those decks that want her. She won't become a white staple by any means I don't think)
Chandra, Torch of Defiance - Oops! All Chandras.
Prime Speaker Zegana - Draw for Power.
Pir & Toothy - Counterpalooza.
Arcades, the Strategist - Another Brick in the Wall.
Zacama, Primal Calamity - Calamity of Double Mana.
Edgar Markov - Vampires Don't Die.
Child of Alara - Dreamcrusher.
As much as I would like to put this in my Mono-White commander deck, I can help but think how great this would be with Sakura Tribe-Elder (props to Destructor for pointing that out). I don't know if Sigarda needs a card like this in the deck, but it is tempting.
I just realized why this card costs 7 mana. It's a callback to Emeria, the Sky Ruin from the original Zendikar block, which reaninmated creatures at your upkeep if you had 7 or more Plains lands in play. Since she's a creature, they made her a 7-drop instead of requiring 7 Plains on the field specifically, and improved her ability and made it a Landfall trigger, which is actually probably more relevant, since we have fetchlands and land search effects that put lands into play, but no real way to mess with the upkeep step. Anyway, I like her, but even if she's not good in any formats I think it's an interesting choice by Wizards to make a specific throwback to Emeria the card.

No, most cards are limited filler that do far to little to be worth even considering in EDH, even in bizarre, niche gimmick decks.

much credible, very EDH, so knowledge.
wow.
