So even blue gets to make scions? I thought they'd keep those in the Jund shard since the ramp effect isn't something white or blue does.
In all fairness, is super non efficient. Green got a 3/3 that produced two tokens (admittedly 0/1) for 3G. So this one is less ramp, less bodies and a more mediocre creature.
I'm calling it right now- worst rare in the set. Even good limited players will find better bombs at common and uncommon no sweat. Worst. Episode. Ever.
I really do predict this to be our worst rare in set award winner. I'd be happier opening a jar of eyeballs, so I think anything worse is highly unlikely. This card wont just have zero constructed potential, but not be significantly better than a mass of ghouls in a draft.
I was going to say I was really dissapointed so far, but looks like they're revealing the good ones now. Those 3 last spells and the new Ulamog seem good.
Not a fan of sorcery Hero's Downfall, but hey, it comes with a bonus so...
Who needs trample when he exiles most of your library in two attacks anyway?

Love that Ulamog. One cheaper and trades annihilation for the ability to exile two things, the ability to reanimate more easily and a repeatable attack ability. Will this replace the 1-of Ulamog in UR Tron? Three hits and your library is gone, no matter how many chump blockers you have.
Also, the colorless removal spell is pretty sweet in the right deck. Another one for Modern Tron of any flavor.
Something that has been true for pretty much every eldrazi fatty except emrakul. Dies to removal so obviously crap eh?

Ulamog master of the kill. He is amazing and his presence is strong as well. I welcome Ulamog into the magic fold. Its a good thing the two other titans are not in it or the planeswalkers could lose.

Holy crap, I was just about to complain about how toned down the new eldrazi are but that put a huge grin on my face. That has to be one of the coolest, most over the top cards I have seen. LOL at the defending player exiling 20 cards from their library...
So... is Ulamog 2.0 an upgrade to the original at all levels? The shuffle effect was seen as a downgrade cuz it made re animating a pain.
The original had annihilator to tear down your opponent's board state. Eroding their library is faster but gives more potential solutions to the defender.
Yes, but he'll take at least 3 cards with him (2 permanents -lands included- and that charm).
Never thought about hitting land! We have so very few land destruction effects in Standard. Exiling two land alone could be worth 10 mana even if he dies immediately.

Still, it's an awesome card.

Uh, not exactly. Everyone was just bemoaning how Abzan is getting stronger. This doesn't help.
