Kind of surprised this wasn't posted yet. Some pretty sweet looking art for Roast with what looks like an adventurer on Zendikar running into some lava.
Bleh, was hoping they'd take a cue from the summer featuring modern FNM cards and do Nov-Dec as EDH cards, mostly because there's so many that don't have foil options.

Can you think of a better term for "the burning of a person by means of lava"?
Melting, charring, incinerating, scorching, smoldering, blazing, broiling, etc.
Mmmm.... roast to me (first image that comes to mind) is cooking over a fire. Only melting really would make me think of this card's art. Charring, incinerating, scorching, blazing all sound like intense flame. And smoldering sounds like the smoking remains of what happened to that poor adventurer after the lava cooled down a bit.
If I looked at that card, the phrase that I think would be "molten" or the obvious "lava".
Wizards print good rares, players complain about cash grab. They print underwhelming rares, players complain that the cards suck. They spoil the best cards first, players complain about the insane prices of preorders. They spoil the meh cards first, players complain that this is the worst set ever.
So. I think I understand now.
As far as these forums are concerned, WotC can never do anything good because:
Card that is new and probably good = "pushed"
Card that is new and probably bad = "EDH/casual fodder"
Card that is a reprint = "lazy"
Card that is a better version of an older card = "power creep"
Card that is a weaker version of an older card = "worthless"

I just wanna know what kind of cooking shows the WotC employees are watching.
