Best of friends with Kiora's Follower. Or Bounding Krasis, I guess. Seems fun in limited: it's a one-time 7/7 in any color that kills a creature before blockers are declared, and if you're not drawing anything else to spend your mana on, you get to untap it and kill another creature. Also hilarious if you have a way to give it lifelink.

I would be happy to crack this in limited I think. It's a fine blocker, it's got pseudo-vigilance, and it wrecks a blocker every turn. Granted, you can't do much else, but why would you need to? If your opponent can't get rid of this (or go over it), you're going to win. Plus, colorless first pick is best first pick. Granted, it's 7, but this is the kind of 7-drop I'm happy to have as a curve topper. I'd say a solid B+ in LR-units.
Constructed, obviously not. Why do constructed-only players even post on these things? Spoiler season must be so boring for you, a very small percentage of stuff is viable in standard, let alone modern or legacy.
This is really funny. I like it, but I'm pretty sure it's not good, even with all this artifact craziness in the set. I'll probably still play it in Karn EDH.
This guy is quite powerful in limited. Yes, it is 7 mana. But it is almost certain to kill at least 2 creatures your opponent controls each time you attack with it.
Thats one hell of a limited bomb. I mean, in limited once you reach 7 CMC and this guy doesn't get answered, you're going to have 7 mana free each following turn anyway, thats no biggy, and he's going to flat out murder the opponents board including any bombs they drafted, then pseudovigilance to boot. Its no pack rat, but at least if its going to be a limited only card, its going to be a hell of a thing
Somebody mentioned Whip of Erebos. Also, Gideon untaps it and, yanno, I can think of worse ways for the inevitable white devotion lists to spend their bazillion mana each turn, even if Gideon arrives late to the untapping party. At least he might find some kitchen tables to hang out at after he completely wrecks a draft pod.
I think anyone who is worried about the untap ability and trying to find other ways to untap it is wasting their time. Untap for 7 is fine if this thing got to attack. It's a slight bummer if you attack, then they kill it on their turn when you left mana open, but that will only happen if they just drew the removal spell that turn, otherwise they would have killed it the turn before to save their creature you blew away when you attacked. And you still got CA and their best creature is dead. If this thing is on the field, you're doing fine, there's no reason to worry so hard about wasting your mana.
Disciple of the ring is MUCH better at hosing this guy than helping him, frankly.

I will almost always pick this if I see it, and it will always make the maindeck cut.
And then I will make origami out of it, because it is totally useless anywhere else.
