So I am currently seeing Liliana, Heretical Healer (B&G) on eBay for $80. Think it will drop lower?
The ones I've seen at $80+ are packs of 4. Liliana is a $20 card right now, and I think she'll end up as a $10 card unless Zendikar has a strong enough sacrifice theme. She doesn't fit in any decks in standard and isn't strong enough to inspire a new one. Eldrazi Spawn might revitalize her, but she's probably heading downwards once people play with her more. Maybe modern and EDH want her more than standard and raise the price, but the only really expensive standard planeswalker is Ugin and I think Liliana is closer to the $5-10 range most have fallen into.

I'm talking about the SDCC Black and Gold ones.

You don't call "dying to removal" if the removal is more expensive in resources than the creature. If you have to spend BG (Abrupt Decay), or W + basic land (PtE) to remove a 1G, that is not "dying to removal". Strictly speaking Goyf dies to removal, but actually your removal is dying to Goyf.
I was incredibly lucky in being able to get a Plainswalker box yesterday. I didn't have a ticket at all and was just hoping for Sunday free for all (no ticket required). But a buddy of mine did have a ticket and I was walking up with him regardless. Well, this was about 12:45pm. They called out for "anyone else with tickets!" and he got in line. I was just standing there when they said "Any other tickets? OK, take your spot right there" talking to me. I guess that was the beginning of the "D-line" that ends up forming after all the ticket times are past. Got in, got through, got my pack! What's the best way to sell this thing? I want to keep it, but it seems stupid not to sell it. Singles? As a set? eBay prices are already dropping hard from 250 to 210-225. What about breaking apart the singles?

You paid $120 for it, correct? You are correct that eBay prices are tanking (as a note, I WAY overpaid for mine, thinking that the trajectory would be more like last year's, where they started at $300 and then went up). You can sell it sealed for around $200, so that's a profit of $80. Is that profit worth the hassle of selling? It's up to you.
Personally, I'd piece it out. I bet you could probably get $50 for each individual walker, and maybe $25 for the book (a lot of people are selling just the book, and it's not doing too well). That's $275. Of course, you'd need to do that sooner rather than later, before too many people have the same idea.

It would not be a profit of $80, b/c eBay and Paypal take a combined 12.5% cut of the final value, so that's another $25 gone, so that's a profit of $55, AND that's assuming the buyer is paying for shipping. If not, subtract another $10-$12. With all that being considered, personally I don't feel it's worth it to sell, but then again, I'm not in dire need of $55. I suppose it depends on the (potential) sellers needs, but there does not appear to be the $150-$200 profit margins in this set that we've seen on some in the past.
Another option would be to hold off on selling it, for a minimum of 3-6 months. Right now eBay is flooded with them, from sellers hoping for the quick flip. After the supply has gone down some, it's quite reasonable to assume these begin their slow march upwards, perhaps to $250 or $275, considering they're going for $200-$215 now (I got mine for $199 + $12 shipping on Saturday night, so cfusionpm I think you're just a little bit optimistic when you said $210-$225. $210 maybe, $225 seems unlikely, not when there's enough floating around closer to the $200 level).

I was presuming $200 after shipping/fees. Congrats on getting one for $211 (lucky!), but most of what I'm seeing in the sold listings from this morning is in the $225-$250 range.
I concur that selling the set complete right now is not a winning move.

I bought mine on ebay last night. Using my ebay bucks coupon, it came out to under $180. Hard to beat that price aside from getting very lucky on the hasbro website. $36 per black walker is good, even though the art is meh. 2013 Chandra is still the best. Hopefully they look better in the binder than last year's, because you can hardly see them when thumbing through.

I had the 2014 Garruk in my trade binder forever, and so many people flipped past it thinking that it was just a blank card. The guy who ended up trading for it pulled it out, and the guy across the table from us asked what I valued it at. I told him, and he asked me why a blank was so expensive.
Does anyone know if the book even has anything more than what we can read on WotC's site?
I'll tell you in a few hours.
Edit: Nope. It contains pretty much exactly the stories as published on the WOTC site. There's some art in the book that's not used on cards, and some closeups and blown-up art, but it's all just the same stories and art from the five introductions. I don't see anything new.
Edit AGAIN: The Nissa story uses the alternate intro deck Dwynen art instead of the pack art. It's the only place I've seen that alt art blown up. I think (I'm back at work again, and I left the book at home) that they may have also swapped out Kothophed and Hixus for the alt arts, and I'm thinking that Pia and Kiran Nalaar uses the same intro pack art as the web story.
Does anyone know if the book even has anything more than what we can read on WotC's site?
During the Comic Con panel, MaRo was asked if the book by itself was going to be sold regularly outside of the 'con exclusive. He said that all the content, art and story, are available on the website, to which several people in the audience shouted "But we want to give you money!!" Which I believe was referring to having a nice professional book to flip through.
Does anyone have any idea when these will go live on the hasbro toy shop today?
I sent them an e-mail to see if there was a specific time they would be available. This was their response: "The on sale date is July 28th and will not be pre selling these items. Please check back on this date for the items to be posted for sale. We do not have a time of day they will be available but we can tell you we open at 8am EST and strongly suggest you start checking at that time until you see them posted under the “exclusives” tab."
Sometime last night they removed the exclusives page from the website, presumably to reduce load on the site from people refreshing it constantly today. Right now the link will take you to a list of all toys but I've still got it refreshing assuming once the page goes up the link will go back to taking you to the right page.
