Four pacts, four effects. Shows the inevitable downsides of dealing with demons.
Feels like a way to blink this, or sac and recur this (Starfield of Nyx covers part of that loop), or...something would be necessary to make it work, though. None of the effects one time are powerful enough to counterbalance "you lose the game in four turns."

Lose the game option can be negated in modern. Maybe we will see Demonic Pact in Ad Nauseam combo decks or in black tron with Platinum Angel. It is better than it seems.
... so if you choose the three options already then Donate it, is your opponent locked into those choices (the card remembers what it was chosen) or does the opponent get a fresh slate?
Great design- lot of flavor and exemplary mythic. Might not see much play, but maybe a good card for an aggressive deck, where you're fairly likely to lose if it gets to turn 8 anyway. Four points of face burn and two extra cards is a nice way to finish a game. Pity it's not red, I suppose.
This card looks like so much fun. Honestly, Mind Rot into Soul Feast into Divination seems REALLY good for 4 mana. You just need to make sure you're splashing another color to save yourself from the eventual "lose the game."
There are many things this works very well with, but RedGauntlet is right, Donation has to be the most hilarious combo.
While I know that Dromoka's Command was already a card, this does seem to be a very nice Control card, as long as the deck can kill artifacts. Even if the effects are somewhat muted: Discard 2, Draw 2, kill a creature and drain all seem very strong in one card over the course of several turns. Needs to be paired with other cards to keep the board state clear, but it seems very solid.
This card and Starfield of nyx are just dying to be put together in a deck. If they don't trade with your animated Demonic Pact, they will most likely lose. if they do, you get it back with starfield for more value. Such a good deck premise, can't wait to make it in standard.

Fairly sure since it's the same object, it remembers the options already chosen.
Unfortunately, we won't be seeing any cheap blink effects while Manifest is still in Standard. The card could be good with access to some kind of reusable blink, but too risky in Standard right now. Has some potential in other formats, but the effects are just too underwhelming unless you can reliably blink it (in which case, it's a pure card advantage engine that can easily lock opponents out of the game).

Claws of Gix is also another cheap way to utelise it in modern. Not a tier 1 card, yet seems interesting as a rogue option.

Edit: Oh snap, its BETTER than Soul Feast.
