Whoa. That's some batch of spoilers. Almost didn't make it past the promo Languish though. I've had to miss almost every gameday since m14 due to work, but going to have to make the time for this one. Heirarch is pretty laughable looking though; having to get my 1/1 through to ramp up the next turn does not appeal. Tainted remedy as a one sided rain of gore seems interesting. I await the casual deck based on going hearthstone style shadowpriest with healing leaves and hero's reunion ;-p Fiery Justice and Grove of the Burnwillows could make apperances~
Mana Dork kind of sucks and seems to be mainly built for an aggro deck... which in this case it seems fine or even good for GW aggro in Standard, probably replacing Mystic.

It's worth noting that Tainted Remedy is better than Rain of Gore in at least three ways:
1) It only affects your opponents
2) It is NOT limited to cards that make their controllers gain life, so you can force lifegain which gets turned into lifeloss
3) It is NOT limited to spells and abilities. Rain of Gore does not affect Lifelink, because it's the combat damage gaining life, not an actual ability (it's wonky, but that's how it works).
I can definitely see this being a strong tool in Rakdos burn decks in Modern. The ability to not only negate all enemy lifegain, permanently, but turn it against its controller is not to be underestimated. It's the closest thing modern has to Sulfuric Vortex.

Am I correct that Starfield would increase any enchantment creatures power and toughness to their cmc? Eidolon of Countless Battles would actually become base 3/3 and then take into account the creatures on your field. But this also means while you could revive your gods, most would get a power reduction from it.

Yes all those enchantment creatures now come with P/T equal to their cost. As for Gods even though their P/T will be lower in most cases, they are still indestructible.
It's too early to say, but I could see Tainted Remedy being the end of a few cards popular in Standard right now. It might be good for Monored aggro/burn to consider splashing black to bring this in from the sideboard against decks that try to gain life as a defensive strategy against them.
There's a funny interaction between Starfield and Conjuring. Since Starfield turns enchantments into creatures if it's active, you can use Conjuring to make temporarily copies of the enchantments you play or bring back with Starfield.
Is it me or is this better than the whole of Theros block lol
These are what people expect of enchantments, Wizards.
Origins = Theros Revisited
They were overly afraid of good enchantments being overpowered but they're okay with letting them into standard with Theros for 3 months at least. Similar to the slivers' final hurrah in M15.

Was going to say exactly the same. This is what we wanted from Theros, not adding the word 'enchantment' to the type line of every creature and calling it a day.
I really don't like the new manadork. You have to play turn one, attack and hit on turn two, then untap with it on turn three before you get a bonus. Rattleclaw Mystic is just as effective and requires fewer hoops to jump through. Honored Hierarch's ability to also make white or black mana doesn't make much a difference to me.
Love Flameshadow Conjuring, Starfield of Nyx, and Day's Undoing though!
Purphoros EDH is salivating over that red enchantment. All my critters burn the table upon entering the field already, why not tack on one mana for an extra 2 to the table and a hasty attacker?

Nice. You die... You die nao... And I get to shuffle it back in for the next person to kill.
I'm most excited about nyx. Redundancy for legacy opalescence decks and a wincon for pillowfort style decks in modern.

No for real though some pretty sweet cards today. I don't think any will show up in high level constructed but they're still pretty cool.
Feel free to tell me yours!

I could see this being played in modern in a pod-ish shell, especially with a sac outlet. Looks like insane value-town

I don't think it would trigger the effect as it says "double" meaning it changes life total rather than acting as a gain life effect.I am wrong.Edit: Checked gatherer.

Honored Hierarch - I want one of these for EDH as well if they're not too expensive.
Flameshadow Conjuring - This one has lovely art, flavor, and mechanics. I'll try to pick one up just to have on hand.
On the whole, what a great set of spoilers today! Now I'm excited about Origins.
