This cards sucks because it isn't an automatic x4 in every Eternal deck, everything is limited filler now, Maro is trying to make the game become Magic: The Creaturing, also Force of Will should be reprinted in standard.
Seems like a reasonable bet that RB's going to be a "sacrifice/cares about creature death" archetype. I suppose it's probably a bit too optimistic to hope for Viscera Seer, but that doesn't mean I'm not going to hope anyway. And the art's quite pretty for a hellhound, so that's a plus, too. Definitely looks like its colors.

I think the mountains in the background would be the best identifier. They're a little weird shaped, but not quite Zendikar weird. They don't seem familiar to me, so I'd bet on a new plane.
This actually seems really strong in Limited. 4/3 for 4 is solid, and the ability is very nice gravy that pushes combat math in its controller's favor.
Also, hey, multicolored. I mean, that was apparent with the Zendikar guy, but it just now registered for me. Nice to see WotC avoid imposing random "idiot-proof" restrictions on the last core set.

Multicoloured Limited Uncommon = good hint towards prominent Red/Black draft archetype/theme. The sacrifice theme was one of the better ones in M14 both in terms of power and interesting game play. This card fits in a broader range of those decks because it is an acceptably powerful body (Summit Prowler is awesome) with a high value ability tagged on. You'll play it if the synergistic side is deep, you'll play it if Red/Black aggro is good, and you probably won't be unhappy with it often.

Magmaw would have been its own strategy at Uncommon in Rise of the Eldrazi Limited. The number of extraneous permanents was reasonably high thanks to Eldrazi Spawnn. Additionally, it was reasonably strong against some level up strategies and might have pushed it out if seen at an increased regularity.
There's a good chance each color pair gets its own uncommon. I mean, there's eight spots between this and Zendikar Incarnate, just enough for ten multicolor uncommons. About on par with Theros.
MTGS Wikia Article about "New World Order"
Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.

It's an uncommon though.
Cool in limited, not good for anything else.

RIP Batman guy. I hope somebody picks up the slack now that you are gone. Sick children need their Batman.
It looks a lot like Regathan Firecat, so I'd say Regatha.
Storm Crow is strictly worse than Seacoast Drake.
(Also, at least it's not a rare.)
Your disdain of Magmaw is fuel for the magmaw!

Getting tired of saying that, seems the last several sets have really catered to limited.
Still, actually have been a couple cards I want from the set for constructed at least.
Hope whatever dimir card(s) we get aren't limited fodder.

Blazing Hellhound is 210 and Zendikar Incarnate is 219, so I doubt we'll have more than an uncommon for each pair, unfortunately.
I hope they make an enemy colored cycle though too. this card is a nice sacrifice outlet anyways.
