Why can't it be +X/+X and be a 0/4. late game it is weak cause it's a 4 toughness without trample. And flavour wise why does the incarnation of Zendikar have 4 toughness?
Its not really that "weak" as this is still a 4 mana 4/4 at the least (and if boosted out faster, its 3/4) , and its power grows for free.
Late game its easily 7/4, 8/4 and bigger, this gets large enough, which is strictly better than a vanilla 4/4.
In "constructed" this card is clearly crap, no question, but this card is an uncommon and will do its job in Limited just fine.
New Nissa produces a 4/4 token aswell, so theres something to 4 thoughness in the new "Nissa" cards.
Interesting to see multicolour in the last core set. At uncommon, no less.

My Commander decks:
Chandra, Torch of Defiance - Oops! All Chandras.
Prime Speaker Zegana - Draw for Power.
Pir & Toothy - Counterpalooza.
Arcades, the Strategist - Another Brick in the Wall.
Zacama, Primal Calamity - Calamity of Double Mana.
Edgar Markov - Vampires Don't Die.
Child of Alara - Dreamcrusher.
I have to wonder if this will be a cycle, an Incarnate for each of the 10 planes.
This is pretty damn good at uncommon. A 4/4 that gets bigger as the game goes on is definitely scary and I wouldn't doubt there will be some sort of trample granter in the set.
Reasonably good Limited card. It'll likely be relevant over the course of the entire game, even if it ends up trading. Any sort of pump or trample effect can make this beastly. For an Uncommon, that's not bad, and if it follows the trend of multicoloured uncommons being anchors for their colour pairs, I suspect Red/Green will be some sort of big creature/ramp strategy. If they do all 10 planes, perhaps we'll get a full cycle of 10 too. That'd be neat.
The name sound epic for an uncommon, but no big deal.
The card itself is good for an uncommon. Definitely good in limited but nothing much else to say.
I like it. Ghor-Clan Rampager this is not, but it is a solid card nonetheless. Elementals have been getting some love again recently.
This can almost make the cut for constructed as a 1 or 2 of in the right decks (even in older formats that have much more insane land-ramp abilties). Four toughness is only "bad" to Stoke the Flames but otherwise is a good toughness to be at.
Edit 1: Also consider that the only other card this really has an analog for is Dakkon Blackblade, which costs 6 CMC, takes an extra colour of mana (and isn't in Green which has most of the good land ramp) and is a Legend. I'll take the 4 toughness for the lower other restrictions.
Edit 2: Rubblehulk is expensive at 6 CMC but you "gain" Bloodrush, and Allosaurus Rider is even more niche...
Also, 219/272?? Seems like we could have a load of non-monocolored cards in Origins!
Well, this particular card is quite possibly the last multicolored, as it starts with Z...
Hmm, you're right, this is probably the last multicolored card. We'll probably have 20 basic lands as usual for a core set, so that leaves 33 artifacts + nonbasic lands? That's not a lot, is it? M15 had 38 I believe.

Expect a reprint in the next duel deck.

I did say "that good" meaning I do think it's a fine card
Just not a great card: would you call this a bomb? I think it's a bit short
