This white weenie planeswalker is certainly interesting, I like it. Hard to figure out how powerful it will be in Standard, but I doubt it will see much play in eternal formats. Who knows though, maybe Hatebears will like it as 1-of?
That's pretty nice, a Savannah Lion (especially with Human Soldier typing) with a 3cc activated ability to give indestructible is already solid and playable. The transformation ability is also pretty simple (it's just Battalion - RtR Boros mechanic).
As a planeswalker he can fog 1 creature by forcing an attack (can also be used with defending creatures to kill something, a bit like Fight), defend himself by untapping an indestructible creature to block with (can also be used to give a creature survivability on your turn allowing it to attack and survive, or to survive through a self cast wrath effect) and of course becoming an indestructible 4/4 packs a decent punch and can start attacking like that as early as 4th turn (ignoring haste options).
All in all i'm a fan, not sure if Wx weenie can be a thing in post origins standard but if it is he'll show up as at least a 1-2 of.
I cant imagine him not seeing 3-of play in any relevant aggro white deck in standard. I think being able to make your lion indestructible for an investment is almost more relevant than the flip. An aggressive weenie that can stall out or trade well when you're out of gas gives it some reach already, the flip gives it a huge amount. Sure I can echo the meh of unoriginality on the flip side but for our 1 cmc walker he doesnt disappoint
at least this means wizards wont be printing anything like lingering souls to clump up standard
Really pushed, this card will be a staple in cheep aggressive builds. Looks like Abzan Company will be tested a whole bunch. A 1 mana 2/1 with upside that can flip into a 4/4 that also has upsides.
Edit-Also, the Art is GLORIOUS! I might actually have to take that commenters advise and yell "SHAZAM!" when I flip him.

I like it. First turn you can play him, then second turn you cast Raise the alarm or two more one-drops and then attack on the third turn. In theory he could flip on turn two if you started out with a hand that had two ornithopters and dropped them on your first turn.
Hmm, just thought of something. If you and your opponent have Kytheon, Hero of Akros out and your opponent attack with Kytheon and two other creatures, does your Copy Transform at the end of combat as well?

Nah, unless it says "a card named", mentioning a card name refers to itself. So if it said "At the end of combat, if a card named Kytheon, Hero of Akros and at least two other creatures attacked..." then it would cause the flip no matter which Gideon attacked.
I like how Gideon (well, Kytheon) had Battalion long before he joined up with the Boros.
Also, that's a super solid card. Flips turn 3 off of Raise the Alarm while using that 3 mana to makes sure he survives combat, then turns one of the soldiers into an indestructible blocker before swinging in as a 4/4 the next turn. Also provides a way to protect your just-played creatures from most removal (misses exile effects like Abzan Charm) while still ticking up. Nice card all around.

I really like the planeswalker art work .
The flip side is still pretty aggressive, since it turns into a 4/4.

Might only be a three of due to legendary, but 4 seems correct to me.
