"Ignition" is definitely referring to Chandra's spark igniting, not just her lighting on fire. Also, flavor-wise, this card will flip Chandra by itself, which thematically "ignites" her spark and transforms her into a planeswalker. So I fully expect a cycle of "Jace's Ignition", "Nissa's Ignition", etc, all of which will flip their respective walkers when used.
This will definitely be a cycle, wonder if it will be "_____'s ignition" 9r 8f will use other words for the others like ascension, enlightenment, epiphany, awakening, etc.
I also hope the others do as good of a job as this does at flipping them on their own (this on Chandra she does 2 damage and untaps, allowing her to activate ability and flip).
Nissa's would be a land ramp of course, so might be playable if BFZ has landfall.
Liliana's will make you sac a creature to do something else helpful (perhaps be an edict)
Jace's would mill yourself somehow, but could still be decent - perhaps reveal 4 cards from top of library, one to hand and others to gy? Or reveal until you find an instan/sorcery and put it in hand, others to gy

I am hoping that Nissa's Ignition could be a 4 mana "ramp until you have 7 lands" spell. That would be pretty neat, since it has the potential for abuse with rituals, but falls off and becomes much less useful later in the game when you already have the land. Plus, it would ignite Nissa. (;

On Chandra's Ignition: Very, VERY potent in limited. It either wins you the game or puts the game in your favor. It just fits the bill of limited bomb. I can't say that I like its chances in Standard, and especially not in older formats. What do you Commander fans have to say about this card? I don't know enough about the format to judge.

I think butcher of the horde is better because he curve better and the lifelink everyone think about plus sac your creatures for effect before wrath is always good.
Not sure if the others' "ignition" will be called Insert_walker_name Ignition. If that's the case I would like to see for the rest of the walkers not in Origins, at least in the near future.
I always like that cards tell a story. For casuals wizards also touch upon a theme. If pushed enough spikes will also appreciate it.
