I guess that shouldn't be surprising. Everyone was looking forward to this set and it was already being toted as limited run. No surprise the "second wave" isn't really coming. Not to mention, stores still need to make money, and honestly, if you really want to support your LGS, I think reasonable (like, $10-15) increases in price if people are willing to pay for it isn't that bad to pay to make sure they can keep running.

How will I survive?
I would recommend ignoring the whole thing and pretend it never happened, like all represent memories should be.
But if you find that too hard to suppress then there is always enacting petty if not disturbing revenge. My personal favorite so far has been the idea of taking all the comet storms, wolf brier elementals, and other junc cards, put them into a large bag and placing said bag in from of WOTC's front doors before lighting it on fire.
I have. Not even close to remotely worth the price of entry.
If it was half the price, it would be ok. But as is, 40$ drafts aren't really my cup of tea. I guess it's cool to do it once. And then never look at it again.

$10-$15 price increases are not reasonable. That would make drafts $75.

it's either you are insane, or own a store, or maybe even both. $25 for a booster?
You played JESUS?!?! I heard none of his guys stay in the graveyard, and once you think you have him beat he ALWAYS comes back to win within three turns. I like...WORSHIP him.

Could have meant per box. that would be less outrageous, i think.

A per box increase, given the context made the most sense, and seems reasonable all in all when you see what boxes are going for on ebay currently. And, if true, being able to get a few extra boxes (a 4-box case or 2) wont really move the supply needle all that much, probably just a way for wizards to offload the remainder of their supply of boxes direct to stores for those stores set up to order direct from wizards.
It's not a second wave. They have an option of buying directly from WotC for extra supply. I saw the PO for my LGS.
I'm still trying to confirm this. Anyone have proof?
Ok, so in the video he confirms that WotC is refilling stores, just gradually. No known amount is given to the public and WotC reps, not distributors, are acting like supply is running short already. Could be a ruse, might not be.

I fail to understand the vitriol. The set is fun to draft, and features several cards that see plenty of play in Modern. Is a lot of the set just draft-worthy content? Sure, but that's to be expected, given that Limited is always Wizards go-to money maker.

Most people wanted packs to have an EV of $20+ for $10 packs, so when the EV is less than $10 for $10 packs, some vitriol is expected. However, I agree with you in that the set is very fun to draft and does make up for some of the EV problems. Opening boxes has never been good EV anyway, so I'm not sure why people expected differently for MM.

My problem is that Khans is a blast to draft and over half the price cheaper.
The first MMA was a blast to draft and helped reprint lots of GOOD commons/uncommons. So even if I pulled Greater Gargadon, my Spell Snare and foil Lava Spike made up for it.

No, people want an EV of $5 to $10 a pack for $10 packs. Had they thrown in another dozen good uncommons and commons (combined not respectively) then having a decent EV would have been easier to achieve.
This thread needs to go away. It's a blatant sales tactic to generate fear and justify raising prices. When we already have an entire thread telling everyone who reads it that Modern Masters 2015 is massively over priced and NOT worth buying at all.
Because everybody in the world reads MTGS, right? Way to overestimate local importance
Everyone if you actually purchased this garbage. I suggest you mail the 95% of worthless cards in your box to Wizards of the coast saying that this set was garbage. None of these cards are modern playable's. Use as strongly worded language as you can to get your point across.
Cute.

It doesn't matter.
1: they stated its a limited print run
2: they have enough stock to make sure it's not another MM1 fiasco
3: If they do run out of refills and they see things going crazy. Guess what. They can always print more
And to you kids still complaining about MM15 get over it. It was fun to draft and destroyed the prices of all the valuable reprints. Did what is was supposed to. Now let's move on to magic origins and BFZ
Man.... you can't please you people. We get mad because price get crazy for singles, so wotc prints more. But, then there isn't enough. Rage. So wotc does it again, but this time the set isn't good enough for the ungrateful magic players. All you people do is whine about how wotc is ruining the game. Yet you still dump your wallet on the counter whenever the new "garbage" set comes out. Quit whining, or quit buying. Most magic sets suck from a value standpoint
Most of the expensive regular rares that got reprinted in MM2015 have tanked in price, so I don't know what all of the whining is about. Even if the print run has already ended and there's just no more to be had, the prices have taken a serious hit by and large, and you should be able to pick up any singles you need for your deck. Of course, don't expect high-demand cards like Goyf to drop below $100 anytime soon, but its price still dropped significantly when the set was released.

a regular sets also very fun to draft, ex: Innistrad, Tarkir, and many other.
and they cost a third or even a quarter of MM2015 draft.
then why you pay 3-4x of the money for the same enjoyment ???
i am a father of 2, so i put more value to my hard-earned money then kids.
but i know the feeling of never care about the value of the hard-earned money my father giving to me, because i also young, once.
but for the people like me MM2015 is just not worth it,
better save the money, and use it to draft other fun sets.
and for the same money you can have fun 3-4x.
Wizards print good rares, players complain about cash grab. They print underwhelming rares, players complain that the cards suck. They spoil the best cards first, players complain about the insane prices of preorders. They spoil the meh cards first, players complain that this is the worst set ever.
So. I think I understand now.
As far as these forums are concerned, WotC can never do anything good because:
Card that is new and probably good = "pushed"
Card that is new and probably bad = "EDH/casual fodder"
Card that is a reprint = "lazy"
Card that is a better version of an older card = "power creep"
Card that is a weaker version of an older card = "worthless"

That's your choice to save your money for other sets. I haven't enjoyed drafting any sets released by Wizards in 2 years, since the last MM. They have a much better card pool to work with and can put much more powerful cards in these sets.
You are also ignoring that in a normal set you can maybe get a card worth $50, in very odd circumstances. In MM, you can get multiple cards worth around $50, plus Tarmogoyf which is ~$125.
There is a reason these sets are worth more. They are more fun for a lot of people, and the cards are worth more. I get that some people don't want to spend more money on the same amount of cards, and some people may feel that the drafting isn't any different, but a lot of people are paying the extra money, so there must be a difference regardless of your personal feelings.
