It's so hard for me to calm down, I am EXCITED. My friend bought four packs and pulled four mythics, then another friend bought one pack and got a mythic. I bought three packs, and I got three mythics! Then someone else bought two more, others bought one, and I bought the rest in the box. Ten packs, ten mythics! The other people got a mythic in each of their packs too. This is so cool of Wizards to do. I got a goyf, a bob, a bitterblossom, holy ***** dude.
It's really hard to tell at this point if it's intentional,
or the latest (and most fortunate) in a litany of packaging errors.
But congrats, I'm sure that must be nice!
It would be good enough to open those three in a single box-
in three packs is just ridiculous!

Okay, well I'm not SURE but I don't want to believe that someone out there didn't get any mythics in their box. The fetch in every FRF pack boxes and the JOU god packs were also met with skepticism so we'll have to see if this happened to anyone else. As Maro says, never deny cool things.
Do you want to see the transactions from my debit card? Or pictures of the cards? Or both? I don't care if you don't believe me, I'm happy with all of these mythics I pulled.
This is likely an error, as I have posted on the thread about errors and such, I opened a few packs from each of the 2 boxes I preordered and instead of a rare card I have an uncommon in the rare slot of every pack I opened (6 from each box) 4 uncommons a pack....
If it's intentional, like the God packs from Theros block, I have to say that I don't like this sort of marketing ploy from them. It's lottery-like and it gives people unrealistically high hopes. Awesome news for the lucky few, of course, but it's a pretty cheap sales trick.

When I hit my 3000 post mark, I'm gone for good.
Stay reasonable, be mindful of your expectations and don't feed the trolls.
I feel as though this has to be an error on their part. They wouldn't make it a lottery where one guy's box was actually worth hundreds of dollars more than he paid for it. The god pack was reasonable because all the Gods really weren't as expensive as Goyfs or Bob.
I wish my 4/4s with haste and first strike that acted as Goblin Warchiefs were better and didn't die to instants and overshadowed all other 4 drops in the format. And that they had evasion too, and some way to dodge wrath effects.
I wouldn't call the god pack reasonable considering they probably thought the gods were probably going to be very good in constructed or at least some of them. Still worth quite a bit if you opened a JOU god pack.
If real yeah the boxes with mythics every pack are just worth infinite as even if you hit 5 comet storms in such a box 19 $20+ cards is pretty amazing.

"Yawgmoth," Freyalise whispered as she set the bomb, "now you will pay for your treachery."
I really really really doubt this could be an error. If this story is true then it had to be intentional. See, all rares and mythics are printed on the same sheet, it's just that rares occur twice there. They aren't getting added to packs from separate sources in the machine sorting process, mythics and rares come from one feed.
A random error or machine failure in the process causing this would be as likely as having all the rare/mythic cards in a box be green.
A machine/process error can cause many outcomes, like packs having 2 foils or 2 rares, or missing rare, or various miscuts, or having odd repeats of like 3 each of a bunch of rares in the same box. But not something like mythics in every pack (unless they completely reworked their production for MM2 and actually print mythics separately from rares, but nothing else hints at that and the set's composition looks just like any other current set)

Now you know where your karma went.
Lol perhaps, though I do not do much to give myself bad Karma as it is, so perhaps this means something amazing is about to come my way!
As a recipient of a Fate all-fetch box I find it hard to believe this was an accident. They've pulled way too many stunts like this over the years. If they are willing sneak power-9 into Zen packs (ala Hidden Treasures) making all mythic boxes in a limited print run product like MM15 is peanuts by comparison.
This is definitely an error. I just read something where someone who started to open up two different boxes he had (he got 6 packs into each box) to find that his rares were replaced with uncommons. He wrote to wizards and they told him to open all the rest to see if the mistake continues through the whole box. I guess they are going to replace the packs that didn't have the rares in them but it goes to show the inconsistency with this product
My buddy pulled 2 foils in 1 pack today. Foil White Changling and Foil Cryptic Command. The Foil Cryptic was in the rare slot.

I assume this should be a packaging error. Potentially caused by new techniques to deter people from box mapping maybe? I am curious as to what the average number of mythics people are opening per box currently. I have opened one box and only opened 2 mythics. I would think I should have opened 3 since 1 in 8 chance of opening a mythic and 24 packs were opened. 24/8=3. Opened a bitterblossom and clique with a foil command behind it, so I'm not complaining as much as if I would have opened a comet storm. In addition, the majority of text on the rares I opened were faded, as if the ink was running out. For 10 dollars a pack I expect better quality then this. Luckily that issue only affected the non-foil rares. I plan to contact wizards about the issue regarding the faded ink. I bought another box that I have not opened yet and I really am contemplating just returning it.

If it is a packing error, then what relevance is the high variance?
Because the community has one legitimate criticism of MM15 so they're going to beat this horse as hard as they can.
"I really enjoyed MM15's limited environment. What did you think?"
"It was good, but after the draft my commons and uncommons weren't valuable enough. There's really too much variance in pack value with this set."
"Okay... What about the new boosters? They might be easier to tamper with, but I'd like to see recyclable boosters once they've solved that problem."
"The materials the packs were made of were okay, but there was too much variance in their value when opened. Not enough pricey commons and uncommons."
"Yeah, this set wasn't perfect. Personally I expected more new art."
"Personally I expected more value commons and uncommons, and less variance in pack value."
"Weren't you talking about expensive rares for the whole preview season?"
"Well that's how I talk about commons and uncommons now. The pack value variance in this set is so bad it's making me lose my grasp on the English language."
A friend texted me last night absolutely fuming. He opened a box that contained zero mythics, 3 copies each of All Suns' Dawn and Horde of Notions, and the fourth most valuable card in the box were the two copies of Remand he pulled.

Docking Bay 93 in Mount Vernon. All of the packs in that box are gone though. I'm sure this is intentional.
Variance on this set is high. 2 Foil Kiki-Jiki pulled in the 3 boxes opened for drafts last night. Zero other foil rares.
