The ten ravnica lands could have easily been replaced by gemstone mine and terramorphic expanse. This would have left room for tron lands and one more good uncommon for each color. There seems to be no real justification for the price increase either.

This doesn't even look like it would be fun to draft... - how are you supposed to get a proper deck with all this trash that doesn't even work well with anything? Archetypes? - What archetypes??
well SCG just reduced the price of their MM15 booster boxe by $25 to $275. Seems like a sign that the boxes may not sell as well as anticipated. Me personally I may buy a few packs but just gonna single out individual cards after that.
25 between rare and mythic on 57 are up 10$ (and if we count remand it's 26). So IMO the set value it's OK (not for moneygrabber kids that think they don't need to find a job cause magic) and not so bad to draft compared to standard (usually there are 3-6 staples rare/mythic card in every set on 57 total).
The packs are 3x as expensive. I would have been fine with the rares being 50% garbage, but they killed a lot of the value for me by including so few chase commons/uncommons.

I am pretty annoied that most of it has been reprinted before in commander sets and duel decks, I just already have most of this set. A lot of the rares are just a step below where they needed to be.
This is really about the power level of a normal standard set. They went too deep to make the rares fit the archetypes that wasn't really needed.
Also wrong Tezz grr.. I want AoB the one actually played in modern, Seeker is in the duel deck. I just expected more actual modern cards from this and less casual cards, not even the best Commander cards here.
the average prices for your rare slots is 47.5 for your mythic and 7.8 for the rares so at 21 rares so an avg of 163.8$ for your rares and assuming 3 myhics thats an avg of 142 making it about $305 avg for a box
Can someone explain to me how Dismember, Apostle's blessing, mutagenic growth and gut shot all get reprinted, but Gitaxian probe is no where to be found??

No serum visions or even sleight of hand? **** YOU TELLING TIME. And every other common. Seriously where are these cards going to get reprinted. Zendikar? I hope origins really does go out with a bang and reprints a bunch of these cards they omitted from modern masters but I doubt it. Like good god WotC what were you thinking with this set? So about grand prix vegas and co. being the most hyped GPs of all time. That hype just got slaughtered today. So many cards are not in this set that a great many people including myself wanted in this set. Like wow the money commons and uncommons are just not there outside smash, vines, and electrolyze. Money rares? **** that notion says WotC we'll just print 13 mythics that people really really want and then 2 filler mythics that casuals want and in terms of normal rares we'll just reprint crap like hellkite charger...So, so glad I didn't preorder a box. In fact I bet box price for this set is below MSRP easily now as MM2015 is the definition of the mythic and foil lottery.

No-one's interested in your rational read of the situation. When we saw all of the valuable mythics in the set people were praising the heck out of Modern Masters 2015, but now suddenly it's worthless trash.
I'm upset that some cards I expected aren't in, but I don't regret my 3 boxes. I'll phantom draft them with friends and enjoy the value.
The thing that really, really puzzles me is the absence of Serum Visions. Origins/FNM promo reprint or ban coming up? I chickened out and ordered a playset the moment the whole set was spoiled because I don't want to buy them at $15 in half a year, but it sure does not feel good.
