This sucks. The upshift in rarity is a joke, given the mana fixing needing for all the 5c stuff in this set, and the fact that these cards are a joke to open in your uncommon slot given the other value you get at the uncommon slot, and of course I'm most pissed off about what this means we're NOT getting at all in terms of land reprints in this set. What a stupid decision.
Before everyone gets too bent out of shape, pretty much every time Wizards has not reprinted a card that everyone was clamoring for in one of these products, they end up reprinted shortly thereafter in a different product. See Mutavault and Thoughtseize.
Don't be surprised to see a full cycle of the manlands in Zen.
And the bouncelands are incredible in limited. Free card advantage and color fixing, and not too many ways to get punished for the tempo loss in limited.
shortly after like Serum Visions in Theros, Noble Hierarch in the Exalted Core set, Damnation in FTV: Sweepers or Remand in really anything but a small print run duel decks? And Mindcensor in something with birdmands, sorry I'm not a Vorthos.
MM1 had Vivids at uncommon, it makes sense to have fixing at that rarity again. At least we are not getting Dakmor Savage
I believe WoTC's new policy is to make sure that every color can enjoy the exciting gameplay mechanic of making undercosted dudes and then turning them sideways. Clearly the future of magic.

This is terrible. I expected the manlands to be reprinted since those are pretty good in limited. Instead we get some cards that were only rreprinted for limited when there could have been reprints that would be better for both Modern and limited.
I bought tone of Mirrodin Besieged and never got a single Mortapod.

Well good thing there is a set coming up where a reprint of the manlands is most certainly at least a good possibility (as well as a completion of the cycle at that). I have a feeling we won't be waiting long at all for them.
That said, these are decent enough additions. They aren't particular easy to come by, and for a common land cycle really needed a reprint somewhere. They are decent for limited play, if unexciting.

Ravnica bounce lands are incredible good in Limited.
Its like you get +1 card in hand for playing them, which is huge. In addition to the boost it will allow you to fix your mana aswell.
They are incredible good.
In Ravnica as commons you could even first pick these lands, as they are THAT good (unless theres a better bomb ofcourse).
A hand with 2 bounce lands and 1 normal land is allready 5 mana and will probably fix you in 3,4 or all 5 colors, which is incredible good.
Bounce lands are even more stronger if theres some landfall in the set, as you can just bounce themself over and over each turn.
No matter what, they will be serious limited cards, they are just good in general, they help multiple strategies, allow you to fix your mana and do just about everything you could ever ask from a land in perspective to Limited.
The problem with defining this format by what is "fun" is that everyone seems to define fun as what they don't lose to. If you keep losing to easily answered cards, that means you should improve your deck. If you don't want to improve your deck, then you should come to peace with the idea that you are going to lose because you chose to not interact with better strategies.
My 1 hope for this set was to be able to pick up some Foil Urza lands. This is not the great start to my day as I envisioned in.
Foil Urza's lands are only $20 each. That's $240 for a playset of the three, which isn't bad at all.
Yeah that pretty much sums it up for me. $240 for 12 cards in my deck isn't what I'd consider "isn't bad at all." That's about the same price as an MM2 Box!

A nonfoil playset of Tronlands can be had for ~$6.00
A 4000% premium to have foil ... is a pretty big premium, a larger % than the vast majority of other cards' foil versions.
Which makes me glad I'm not addicted to foil and am content with my $6 playset (actually, I'm still one mine short of the full set, but I can fill that out when I need to for under a buck).

I'm a Legacy player, so I've become desensitized to triple-digit prices. $240 for a playset of Tron lands is SUPER tame compared to $300 for a single Revised Underground Sea.
You wanna complain about $20 cards? Go right ahead. I'll be over here, paying over $1,000 for four copies of a land.

To be fair that is also not all that acceptable, even if you are accustomed to it.
Difference between foil tron lands and revised sea. One is the best colorfixing land of all time due to fetchlands, the other taps for 1 unless you get 3 different 4 ofs in your deck into play. U sea can be had for $200ish if you don't go to big stores like SCG and don't mind SP-MP condition especially considering the collectability of revised dual lands is almost nonexistent in comparison to the likes of FBB, unlimited, beta, alpha, and summer duals. I'm not remotely desensitized to triple digit prices when it comes to the cheapest option for a given card. I flatout refuse to buy goyf at $200, $150, or even $100 because it's outrageous. Granted I also grabbed 3 revised u. sea's for $110 6 years ago on ebay/got in before prices spiked into the stratosphere but still a piece of cardboard for 3 figures is just ridiculous when it comes to the cheapest, non pimp version of a card.

"Yawgmoth," Freyalise whispered as she set the bomb, "now you will pay for your treachery."
The biggest advantage I could think of with bouncelands is that if all you have is a bounceland in your hand you cand be productively playing a land for two turns. Bouncelands are too slow to be much good though.
