People have been mocking up cards with real art for years. Just because the art is right doesn't mean it's real.
This seems more suited to the cesspool of anarchy of tumblr/reddit/twitter. I don't know why the staff feel they have to allow any spoilers to be posted here at all. It's just asking for a bad feelings all around.
Hmm, well now that we can consider digging a big deeper here...
Her transformation trigger is a bit of an oddball design. Here are all the common ways I can think of to flip her:
-Play 2 red spells in a turn, ping opponent with Chandra 3 times after untapping each one.
-Attack with her, cast a red spell, then ping the opponent. Pump spells would work well for helping her survive combat.
-Block a creature that she can survive, then ping the opponent. You don't get to use her immediately this way.
-Use a fight effect that she can survive, then ping the opponent.
If this is real, we have a chandra that is probably very strong in aggro/burn, and weak everywhere else. Straight up pinging for 3 on turn 4 is completely possible (only need two spells), and even if it's just ping/shock/ping/shock/ping flip +1, congrats you just did 9 damage and have a 5 loyalty PW sitting on the field.
However, in midrange or control etc she seems very, very meh, as shoe doesn't protect herself that well (killing a single 2 toughness guy puts her down to 2 loyalty and she can only do it once more, casting 2 spells in a turn in those kind of decks is going to be harder) and the reach she grants is less important.
I'm excited to try her in cube if it's real, though. With all the burn spells for R or 1R that exist in cube, she seems like she'll be insane in the Rx aggro decks.
My first instinct about power level (whether it's real or not) is it could be really cool in modern with Gut Shot, Manamorphose, hmm... maybe even something like Grinning Ignus could find a use! Red cantrips, etc... I think Rift Bolt even gets better in this deck. It seems pretty easy to flip her, and she has a lot of power in PW form.

If this is real, it's sadly unplayable in Modern. 3 mana for a 2/2 with no protection and no haste is not what you want to be doing in this format.
I'm hoping it isn't real but the kaladesh thing makes me suspect it is. Sigh.... WOTC STOP BEING SO AFRAID OF PUTTING 'SHOCK' ON A RED PLANESWALKER OMG ARE YOU KiDDING ME!?!? Sure it couldn't be on a plus but as a 0 or -1 on a walker THAT YOU NEED TO FLIP FIRST it would be far from broken imo. However I do love the flavor behind her ult setting people on fire

Very briefly in standard, Fall of the Hammer does a good job with her. It is granted, not an amazing effect. It is nice though because it overcomes the downfall of fighting which is that she would normally need to survive the fight. It can also work with her -2 ability to shock a creature allowing you to use her and a single card to do 4 damage to a creature and one to a player.

I have officially moved to MTGNexus. I just wanted to let people know as my response time to salvation decks being bumped is very hit or miss.
I think this card is definitely real. It is also the most playable Chandra they've done yet.
I like that they're finally starting to push past the oh-so-cautious '1 damage' activation. (*****, she oughtta be a straight up Lightning Bolt every turn. THAT is a powerful monored PW. If Ajani gets Helices every turn...)
She seems designed for Burn/RDW but sadly she is still too inefficient for either. Maybe.. I certainly want to try her out, which is more than can say for any prior Chandra.
Ok, as a creature it really tries but fails for one simple thing: Haste
At 3CMC with RR it should had haste. Was this true, then she would easily be included even in modern.
The planeswalker side is the perfected version of Chandra Nalaar. A adore the plus ability, though, the second will be the least used ever for a minus (if we assume she ends up in RDW/BURN). I wouldn't mind if they kept the ''-X damage to target creature''. The ultimate is bonkers good and wins you the game!
It is also the most playable Chandra they've done yet.
I dont know if I would say most playable Chandra. Chandra, Pyromaster did quite well for herself when she first got printed.
This one is certainly interesting but from what I can tell she is really designed for a red focused deck because she really needs to reliably hit that untap trigger to flip. It is possible also to run her in a heavy control deck but if you want to run her in a creature focused deck it needs to be really heavy on red spells. As she stands, she might not be very playable in a 2-3 color creature based deck. She will want either a lot of removal to get her through combat or to be very heavy red based to operate.
I think its an interesting red walker but I think she also has a lot of limitations and weaknesses. This said, I think its an interesting rendition that has its pros and cons.

I was hoping, since lili has lifelink, all our flip walkers would get one standard mechanic. Haste on Chandra's creature side would've made this so good.
If this is real then so far I like the trend of the flip walkers being 3 mana. Hope that keeps up. Collected Company shenanigans aside its be cool to get commanders for Tiny Leaders.

Just to add to the whole "This is likely real" thing.
In the image I've attached, you will see Gideon. That's not important. In the faces to pick your planeswalker story, you can clearly see the face from Liliana, Defiant Necromancer. Right beside her is Chandra, who's face looks very VERY similar to a clear version of the blurry Chandra, Roaring Flame. I don't exactly know if the card arts are anywhere on google, but I do know that this IS the correct art we are seeing for Planeswalker Chandra.

Yes Chandra as a legend only pings players. She is still a 3-mana pinger. Then when she s flips she turns into a super pinger that can deal 2 damage to (+2) player or (-2) creature.
Agreed that with the confirmation of the plane, this card became plausible enough to warrant discussion.
On-curve in an aggro deck this is VERY strong if you can get it past blockers. Drop it t3, and all you have to do is successfully attack and play a single spell on t4 for her to do 5 damage (and if you're an aggro deck and can't play anything t4 you probably lost anyways). I see it as comparing pretty well to Goblin Rabblemaster (3 drop with 2 power but that does lots of damage if allowed to attack), except a bit less explosive and more resilient.
It's disadvantage to Rabblemaster is that she isn't as explosive against an open field Rabble can deal a total of 8 by t4, while she can only deal 5, and the disparity only gets great from there. However, if you can play two red spells t4 (far from unreasonable), she can do that 5 damage without attacking, and can do it spread over several creatures.
Possibly a really good commander, where she can be consistently cast, and that ultimate can be a long term issue... but probably bad in every other role....

Yeah, that might warrant haste. But the "what happens beyond hitting for 1" is way too huge. Being able to ping and attack on the same turn right away just seems too strong for 3.

To my experience not being able to ping creatures is a vast downgrade. Also, no one here expects her to live long. She is the very definition of boltbait.
I have to admit though, in a world of Manamorphose and Phyrexian mana (at eternal formats, in standard not even close) this would lead to some explosive 4-5th turns. Still, they WILL target her, just like they target Pestermite when it is about to go out of reach (combo time).
At least, she should have been able to turn sideways the turn she enters.
Liliana can turn into a planeswalker much easier. The ''speed'' arguement is not that legit. Perhaps we ask too much, perhaps not. The competitive scene will show us the way.
This is just hilarious. Staff locking threads just because a few pixels are off, despite how perfect the card otherwise is. Wizards are allowed to change their templating rules.
Nobody even bothered to look at Eric's art for comparison? More paranoia please, it's funny.
Get off your high horse. There are people here, veterans of over ten years (more than 40 rumor seasons), who know what they are doing and many mockups were correctly disproved over the years because of slight errors.
Seeing that you joined less than year ago, please reconsider how you might come across by saying such things and intentionally mocking somebody.
Thank you.

Agreed. True pingers may be three drops, but pinging only a player is something that's OK on 1-drops (Goblin Fireslinger). Obviously the upside here is vastly higher, but I think haste would have been fine.

YES! YES! FINALLY! A three-mana version of Chandra. Took them long enough.
T3: Chandra
T4: Ping 1, Lightning Bolt, Ping 1, Lava Spike, Ping 1, Ping 2 (PW)
1+3+1+3+1+2 = 11 damage.
or
T3: Chandra
T4: Swing for 2, Lightning Bolt, untap and ping for 1, ping for 2 as PW.
2+3+1+2 = 8 damage (and 2 open mana left over)
This isn't even a Magical Christmas Land Scenario. I am thinking Burn. Burn has plenty of cheap red spells to sling out.
AND MORE.
Pingers cost 3-4 mana in most cases. And compare the upsides of this card to the follow and you'll see that this is totally fair without Haste:
4 cmc: Anaba Shaman
3cmc: Brimstone Mage
4 cmc:Chainflinger
3cmc: Cunning Sparkmage
4cmc:Embermage Goblin
4cmc:Fallen Ferromancer
4cmc: Frostwielder
3 cmc: Gelectrode (close to what you are asking for except 2 color, no power, no haste)
3cmc: Goblin Sharpshooter (arguably the best pinger ever)
4cmc: Jeska, Warrior Adept
etc etc
