I'm going to have to side with the chorus of 'fake's here, for a few reasons. The little inconsistencies - copyright year and the like - are bothersome, but it goes beyond that. There's some weird design here - triggering off any red spell to untap seems off given what previous incarnations have cared about, and no planeswalker to my knowledge has ever given opponents emblems. It would be strange space to delve into in a core set.
Given that the wallpaper from wizards.com today basically confirms at least one of the arts - I agree with an earlier post that the PW art is way too zoomed in - I feel like there were some connections to Wizards, though possibly indirect, by the creator. I'd be really fascinated, fake or not, what the story behind something like this getting out is, though I don't think it's a story we'll hear.
All that said, I think this is a pretty good, albeit boring, card. Even without the fancy trickerations, T4 ping, spell, untap, ping, spell, untap, ping, transform, +1 and the card has done 5 damage on its own, and is sitting at 5 loyalty. Though I have faith that Wizards can make, and did make, a better design than this, this is by no means a bad card if it does exist.

I just really hope she's fake because she's really doing a poor impression of a Guttersnipe. Having a worse Guttersnipe as mythic isn't particulary interesting to me.

My Commander decks:
Chandra, Torch of Defiance - Oops! All Chandras.
Prime Speaker Zegana - Draw for Power.
Pir & Toothy - Counterpalooza.
Arcades, the Strategist - Another Brick in the Wall.
Zacama, Primal Calamity - Calamity of Double Mana.
Edgar Markov - Vampires Don't Die.
Child of Alara - Dreamcrusher.
The art used seems like, to me, one of the LEAST likely for the legend side.
Seeing as the Wallpaper of the Week is for "Chandra, Fire of Kaladesh" and does in fact use that art, I'd say it's pretty much confirmed at this point. Now, the particular level of cropping could be different (and I sure hope it is, because the art we were originally given seems way too zoomed out for a card that's supposed to focus on that little girl hiding in that artwork there).
Young Pyromancer is also a shaman. It's due to the primal, inherent ability rather than a learned one. Rogue wouldn't fit because she hasn't been one. She hasn't lived on the streets, she hasn't stolen anything, etc.
Well, we have lots of hints that let us think this card isn't a fake.
BUT, I'm thinking that there is a big creation error... Why put a picture of the untransformed face where you can barely see Chandra.
I mean, this card IS Chandra, but she is so little in the picture. The first think that come to view is the ships and the blade threatening her. They took 2/3 of the card frame.
I would use this image for a spell depicting an action about Chandra, not for Chandra herself.
Where she comes from... A place full of inventors and metallurgy, one wouldn't expect shamans. Maybe Wizard or Rogue would have been better.
Well, she was called a relic of ancient times. It's implied that the current rulers eradicated shamans/pyromancers from existence, and Chandra is hunted because she represents that past. I think shaman is very fitting. Just because she wasn't educated as one doesn't mean she isn't one. It's in her blood, so to say.
Absolutely, Shaman is very fitting for a mage who's prime power is to wield Fire.
In classic D&D style class models a Shaman wields its magic granted by nature itself, while a wizard is more about teaching and learning magic in a broad range, more academic.
In magic especially, blue is a primary "wizard" color, while green and red have much more "shamans", as they are the colors connected closest to the nature of forests and the basic elements.
Young Pyromancer is also a shaman. It's due to the primal, inherent ability rather than a learned one. Rogue wouldn't fit because she hasn't been one. She hasn't lived on the streets, she hasn't stolen anything, etc.
Yep. For those learning their classes from D&D: All D&D Sorcerers would be Shamans under the current creature type system of Magic (i. e. born-in abilities rather than those acquired through stud; does not mean that other kinds os Shamans do not exist).
And it doesn't matter that the people around her were more likely Artificers or Wizards - her abilities clearly set her apart from the people around her.

I think the Rogue bit stems more from the idea that Chandra and her parents were basically part of an underground resistance movement/actively working against the consolate. Still not the best fit, methinks, but I think I understand where the thought comes from.

As I read the story, I was thinking that Rogue would be appropriate. She's a renegade and an outlaw, and Rebel has significant rules baggage attached that wouldn't quite fit (although I would LOVE it if she were a Rebel). Shaman fits with her "natural magic", and is more "what she is" than "what she does". Since she's Legendary, the line is cramped for space, and they had to choose, and so they made her a Shaman to emphasize "she has innate magic" rather than "she disobeys authority".

Honestly, if you ask me, the best creature type for her would have been spellshaper if it wasn't for the fact that thus far every spellshaper has discarding as part of the activation cost of their ability. I mean, she has a tap ability, she's good at it (indicated by her ability to do it multiple times a turn), it gets better by expending other spells, and she is actually focused on one thing- fire, burn you, fire, burn... Plus, wasn't the monastery where she ends up established by Jaya Ballard, Task Mage? Would have been a neat little nod in that direction.
In the story she tried being a painter, a student, and finally a courier before her spark ignited. With loving parents that support her to the very end, I don't see any roguish behavior. They live in an authoritarian society and are against some facets of it, namely the AEther monopoly, but that doesn't make them rogues.
Shaman makes sense from one standpoint and that's a good number (I think most actually) of the mono-red creatures that ping or deal direct damage through tapping are shamans, followed by wizards, and then a smattering of other types like warrior.

Wizards generally fall into WUB and Shamans into BRG. Shamans were introduced in Magic as a more red and green-feeling counterpart to Wizards which up to that point had been the sole Mage class for every color. One can think of Shamans being to Wizards what Warriors are to Soldiers.

MTGS Wikia Article about "New World Order"
Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.

Spellshaper definitely has rules baggage, and would necessitate "T, discard a card".

Uh, yeah it does. They're criminals. Rogues don't have to be impoverished homeless orphans, just scoundrels, cheaters, outliers, vagabonds, or lawbreakers. Take Marchesa's Smuggler. He seems well-dressed and has a powerful patron, but since he's breaking the law, he's a rogue.

Pyromancy in magic is just generally associated with shamanism, so the typing fits in with past pyromancers, even if it does sound odd. It's possible that someone managed to mine wizards' website for the art before it was released. Iirc, the name kaladesh was spoiled in the article that revealed all five walkers plane of origin and first plane visited, and this card was spoiled later that day.
That said, the design works on a technical level and there's nothing obviously wrong with the card to hint at it being fake. The only thing that might be an issue is that they said each walkers transformation would be specifically tied to their story. Liliana's brother died and she accidentally made him a zombie instead of healing him. Her transformation trigger reflects that really well. Chandra's spark ignited when she was about to be beheaded in front of a crowd of people and had nearly lost all hope, only to be inspired to fight back by the lady who was friends with her parents. The three damage clause doesn't really reflect that at all, unless it's supposed to refer to the three people that died in the fire she was accused of setting. Since that happened well before her spark ignited and the imminent execution was a much more direct trigger for her ascension, that seems like an awfully loose connection.

Actually, this card was spoiled about a month before the article that revealed the five planes of origin. It may have seemed like it was spoiled on that day, but what actually happened was that this thread was unlocked due to the corroborating evidence from that article. Thread created on May 4th, then reopened on June 3rd.

Ah, ok. That does lend some more credence to it then. I still feel like the cards transformation mechanic doesn't really fit her story, though, even if it does fit Chandra in general.

Spellshapers are very specifically people who can channel power from someone else and transform it to some other purpose, hence the need to discard a card to activate their powers (you give them power–a card–and they turn it into another effect for you).
