I just looked at the hands-on video for Magic Duels Origins. There's a part that shows bits of what I can only assume are the planeswalker card arts for each character (Liliana's art matches). Judging by that, it doesn't look like this is Chandra's card art, it doesn't match what's shown in the video.
This could easily be Chandra's flip side for Magic: Origins. It's good artwork.
Unlikely. Planeswalker card art tends to be vertical to fit well within the planeswalker frame. This piece is horizontal; the eye is drawn to the fire coming form her fingertips. If this were card art, it'd likely be an instant or sorcery spell, but even then, Chandra herself is a little too prominent for that. If it were a spell, she'd fill a lot less of the frame and the flames would fill in a lot more.
It's not in card dimensions (normal or planeswalker) nor does it really follow the Magic style guide. It's either for promotional material or it's just fan art - presumably the latter.
Landscape behind her isn't descriptive enough imho to place her on a specific plane; generic firey spot she's typically placed in.
Is the Wizards of the Coast copyright on it fake, then?
Looks good to me, I hope they use it.
The pose and design are there, but there's no lighting going on at all
