After they made their new website some things went wrong including the comment system on Gatherer. They havn´t fixed it yet because they have other prioritizes which is kind of a lame answer considering it´s a way for us - the community - to discuss and rate the sets new cards
Until the comments get fixed, I don't think we should even bother with these announcements anymore.
I'm not too interested in commenting on cards. I use data from gatherer for some of my own projects and I like to see other projects (like MTGJson, Magiccards.info and Cube Tutor, to name a few) updating their stuff as soon as possible.
