I can't wait to see the base-red deck that plays Weave Fate. Should be entertaining, at least.

Obviously this isn't going into decks that can play actual scalable draw. However, in the monored/Boros decks that are begging for some semblance of card advantage, this is a godsend.

Not cards, spells. Don't forget that ordinary card draw hits about 40% land, and usually some percentage of irrelevant spells. You need to adjust the equivalent number of cards drawn from this up accordingly.

I'm not sure what you are trying to say here. If you cast this at x=3+ you get land, spell, and maybe one more spell. I count 3 in the best case scenario. You're pretty boned if you get multiple lands :/ Also, I can see how a storm deck could "go off" with this card, but that deck "goes off" with any number of card combinations. Did it really need this?

I've personally watched storm fail to fire after a massive Ad Nauseum, bleeding them down to 1 life with nothing but Rituals and Petals come out. A spell like this, which can be used on top of Ad Nauseum if need be (Or used to get into it) could very well be good for the deck.

The deck fails at times due to variance. Sometimes they have all gas and nowhere to go. Or they just run out cards completely, or are missing the storm count by one or two.

This wouldn't help ANT style storm win games it is already winning; rather it helps win games it likely wouldn't otherwise.

Honestly one of the better Red card advantage cards in awhile, however use it or lose it seems to slowly be becoming red's new motto. This card has a home in EDH if not in some sort of burn/control for standard. In a standard game I can imagine open mana on an opponent's turn, then exiling the top bunch and a barrage of lightning strikes. Cool!

I am sure someone will come up with a silly deck that involves zero-cost artifacts that can take full advantage of this card.

This is much better then people make it out to be. But then again, card evaluation, as well as proper reading, aren't things that are done properly on here often. This is a combo card with applications in other ways as well (If more narrow), and should be evaluated as such.

I love how that one word has such a major effect on how playable the card is.

Once we get over it being a bad card, I think what is notable about it is how it shows wizards is still bloody tinkering with trying to figure out how to do red card draw. I think the progression went:

Draw a card, discard a card (Wizards: "Nevermind, blue gets to keep this!")
Draw two cards, discard a card at random
Discard a card, draw a card
Exile the top two cards of your library. You may play them until end of turn.
Exile the top two cards of your library. You may play them until the end of your next turn.

I first time I read it I thought oh im not going to have the mana to do anything with that.
But the more I read it the more I like it 1 of in my jeskai burn deck in modern would be good maybe in the sideboard vs control maybe main board for 4-5 mana im going to hit bolt + pte + land + lightning helix lots of stuff really
Also i think it could be a solid 2 of in my mardu standard deck

Definitely nice to be able to dig at instant speed in red. But don't make the mistake that you're essentially "drawing" X cards. You're getting the chance to hit a land drop, maybe 2 if it's late game. And you get one untap step in there, so you can play maybe 2 spells, 3 if you set things up really well and get lucky. So for a lot of mana, you've "drawn" 3 spells to replace the 1 you cast. But it's not easily dismissed altogether.
I wonder how much information you can really get, talking with molten rock?

My dream is coming true. Red control is happening. This card is too insane not to talk about, it's unlike anything we've seen before. This sheer amount of card advantage in red is astonishing. Cast it during your main phase for 4, play a land off of it, then on your next turn, cast more spells exiled this way. Between your 2 turns you'll have a pretty good deal of card advantage. People overlook this, but remember that red is the color that's the most likely to kill someone off of those spells with how much burn they have. My favorite card in the set so far. (not limited playable though)

This may propel storm back to Tier 1 in Modern. Use all your rites to cast this on your turn crossing your fingers for or having a past in flames, do it all over again. I can honestly see this being banned, since goldfishing is often frowned upon.

At first glance I thought it was meh, worse than Act of Impulse, don't know why they print this.

Later I realized it wasn't until the end of turn but the end of your turn, which sounded way better because you could cast it on my opponent's end step, untap and have mana available to play whatever you "drew". Nice card then.

And then I realized it's not just the end of your turn but the end of your next turn, which sounds even better because you can cast it on your turn if your opponent is fully tapped and you don't want to risk running into a counterspell. It's also fine if you happen to draw 2 lands because you could cast one this turn and one the next.

Very interesting, it has some potential.

The best description, or the way to use it would be "end of turn activate Memory Jar"

People are too used to the wording on cards like Narset, Enlightened Master I think.
This guarantees not just a land drop (or two) but also you get to choose out of multiple if you get more than one. One of the bright spots of Act On Impulse was also the "play" clause.

To me, the only reason it feels bluer than it should be, is because it's an instant. They've been giving temporary card draw through the exile zone for red, for several sets. Just because it does it, for more than one card, doesn't make it blue. That out of the way. This is great for finding a late game crater's claws, during your opponent's turn? oR can you only cast it for 0 from exile? I can't remember the ruling on that.
