As an additional cost to cast ~, you may reveal a Dragon card from your hand.
When ~ enters the battlefield, if you revealed a Dragon card or controlled a Dragon as you cast ~, draw a card.

Holy crap, it is... not hard to get this to be a flying Wall of Omens in Limited in this set, is it? I'd hate to overrate this from the starting gate but this is strong.
Nonbo with Ojutai's Command, however. The ETB is conditional of casting, so if it is put directly on the battlefield (like with Ojutai's COmmand), nothing will happen. Still, plays very nicely with the new Assault Formation enchantment.
First the Counterspell now this. 4-of Ojutai to ensure he's in your hand? Watching my opponent play a flying Wall of Omens would make me groan. Great tempo.
Someone in the other thread on the janky doran enchantment was lamenting we didn't have wall of omens, well here it... isn't
Good luck putting two build-around cards in one deck with totally different goals, nobody wants dragons in a siege deck, so thats out the window
As far as dragon tribal, a better wall of omens looks like it will be pretty darn good for stalling out till you get a finisher, but a control deck wouldn't have enough dragons in it to make this reliable, and the angelic wall side isn't convincing. Limited fodder indeed
I'm liking many of these dragon-related cards but part of me kind of wishes wizards would have just given us more playable dragons instead

I worry about this as well. Ojutai is cool and all, but unless the blue Regent blows our minds, I'm not going to be playing any of these random "dragons matter" things based on just one card that you don't even want 4 of most likely.
I'm loving this cycle for limited because at the pre-release a lot of players are going to gravitate towards spells like this and then not understand when they're rarely able to get their full effect.
Why did they hint that this was good with Ojutai's Command back in that card's preview article? The "as you cast" part of the clause means you don't get the draw even if you control a dragon when it's returned. It's rather amusing that the wording on the anti-feelbad clause has just caused a pretty big feelbad moment.
This entire cycle cycle is based on showing or controlling a dragon. The draw is an ETB that is based on showing OR controlling a dragon. This works just fine with Ojutai's Command as long as you have a dragon in play. I doubt that the part about controlling as you cast is accurate. A more likely templating is "When ~ enters the battlefield if you control a dragon or revealed a dragon when you cast ~ draw a card."

This is incorrect. The ETB is conditional on either revealing or controlling a Dragon as you cast the Orator. If the Orator bypasses the Stack and enters the battlefield directly (like with Ojutai's Command), there's nothing for it's ETB trigger to check against as it was never cast, so nothing happens.

I was going to argue that I don't think the translation is correct but having gone back and looked at the formatting for Scaleguard Sentinels that is likely correct and substantially worse of a card than it should be. I think that was poor wording choice on the part of Wizards.

And shows the article writer didn't read the card properly if he though it worked well with Ojutai's command

Generally an ok wall i guess. With the new enchantment it can easily become a fast beater.

I do not think you understand "strictly better" if you add that it is so in the right deck.
This is almost too conditional for me. Delicious flavour though!
EDIT: Also, I don't suppose any of these sources might have a larger picture?
Oops maybe the translation is off.
Would love to get this to work with the Assault Formation deck I want to become a thing, but I think it will be pretty hard to cram dragons into that.
