This is my dream come true. Double faced cards!!!! I was in love with drafting werewolves back in innistrad. It's also a sweet way to have more planeswalkers as commanders.
MaRo has stated they won't do a small number of DFCs in a set (i.e. a couple for Modern Masters), so does that mean that they'll be back as a sub-theme in Magic Origins?
That seems REALLY confusing with Morph also around, but maybe it means we'll finally get a legendary Werewolf?

They changed the Morph rules recently to help with it.
Also, as much as I would love a legendary Werewolf, it is highly unlike here. I feel that DFCs are going to be reserved for Planeswalkers in Origins to help simplify matters and to keep it a unique "spark" mechanic.
Additionally, look at what was the day/night symbols; Planeswalker symbol on one side and what looks like an un-sparked Planeswalker symbol on the other. I doubt that WotC will do that and day/night.
If these walkers are any good in eternal formats (hopefully MODERN), I can see Abrupt Decay's Price exploding. This card is pretty good. Would like to run with bloodghast and gravecrawler.

I like how her toughness as a creature aligns with her starting planeswalker loyalty.
Also, unless I missed it, this is the first instance of a legendary creature using gendered pronouns. Planeswalkers have been doing so for a while. I hope it's a new formatting tradition to be implemented on legendary creatures that aren't also planeswalkers.
Yay! New Lili! Going straight into my Gisa Commander deck. Hell, she might even replace Gisa at the helm. I wonder what Jace and Chandra will be like...
Does this mean Delver of Secrets reprint, possibly? If so, Mono Blue Devotion will be very good for like 3 months.
As is, I don't see this card transforming before she gets removed herself...her walker side is alright, enables delve, good with Tasigur I guess...discard Rhino and reanimate it next turn ain't bad either.
Gorgeous looking planeswalker, I hoped they were going to be "transformers!" Like the little planeswalker symbols in the top left too. Very Future Sight.
You sir are a gentleman and a scholar. I can't wait till I can play my bicycle land out, thus making me heckbent, while I have Nessie on the field. You know, so I can attack with my Pervert.
Note that Liliana's legendary creature side uses gendered pronouns. This is new to Magic templating, as before all legendary creatures referred to themselves as "it". I wonder if this a one-off thing for the planeswalkers or a new templating decision going forward.

I would be shocked if we don't get more double-face cards, to be honest. MaRo has said time and and time again that printing just 4 or 5 double-face cards is logistically and financially unfeasible, which is why they don't show up in Commander products, duel decks, event decks, or sets like Modern Masters. The panel also said we would see "checklist" cards and it seems unlikely they'd bother for 5 mythic rares (since seriously why aren't you sleeving your $10+ mythic for real!?!?!). So like Innitrad, I'd wager we see at least 20+ in the set. My fear is that they'll be one/pack, which will potentially inflate the price even more for the five 'walkers. But bottom line: we're absolutely getting lots of double-face cards, with a Delver of Secrets reprint seeming plausible to me (since it's so hard to print otherwise). I figure the odds of a legendary werewolf are 50/50 - they don't tend to do a ton of legends in Core sets, and we already have 5, BUT they also know it was a huge sore spot for Commander fans.
As to the card - sheer love. Brilliant flavor, and awesome design. In terms of power I think she's not quite as good as Lili of the Veil in most decks, but is probably stronger than all previous Liliana's and better than even otV in Commander. It's tough to tell with 66% of DoK to go and all of MOR to go, but I think she'll see play somewhere.

This card wants to be in Karador, Ghost Chieftain. Sun Titan? check. Reveillark? Check. All three planeswalker abilities are relevant for Karador. And I can immediately -3, then cast her from the graveyard, and activate her again.
This is so good.
Might play with Butcher of the Horde in Standard. I think the deck would need a good sac outlet that comes down early though.
I really dig everything about this Liliana. I love the concept of creature --> PWer. I love the DFC/flipping. I love the art. I think her costs to powerlevel is great. LOVE IT. Let's hope she is an indicator for the rest of the product.

I mean, hell, we're all on a forum for something that most people would describe as a "children's card game"...do what makes you happy. You are never too old to enjoy yourself.

She does seem well balanced and the flavor for her flip trigger is pretty awesome. She'll play great with zombie Sidisi and any other good Exploit cards that get printed in DTK, too.

Yea, she oozes with flavor and synergizes in-set. Again, I hope she is telling of how good the entire product line will be. Do we have confirmation of Origins pushing mono color? Could she team up with BW or BR or will she be mono-B?

Tabak says it's only for those five. Presumably they might do it again later if they make more cards that transform into PWs.
