(*inhales a deep breath*) NEW SARKHAN IS MY SPIRIT ANIMAL/PLANESWALKER! Ojutai might be the best Dragonlord's of the set, Sunbringer's Touch is going STRAIGHT into marath (I WILL MAKE THE ROOM), and double sided planeswalkers?!?!?!!! It's everything I had ever hoped they'd be. I cannot WAIT for more spoilers!!!!
Wait, does that mean you can Moonmist this Liliana into bam PW status
Wouldn't it just be easier to run her alongside stuff like Vampire Hexmage and XHD? I mean if you want her to flip, then sac and recur seems like a good theme...
No surprize about the SJW not even knowing what neuronormativeness is.
**** these people.
Not sure what I missed, but if we're anti-SJW, then I'm on board. Those people are a scourge to sanity.
At any rate:
I can't remember the blonde lady's name, but I kept screaming at my phone for her to shut up.
Ojutai seems freaking awesome. I could be way off base because I've never been much of a control player, but he seems like a super sweet finisher that will just solidify your handle on the game.
Sarkhan seems good, but I have this crazy hangup when it comes to spells that are three colors. It just looks like a billion mana to me.
Yay more crappy dragons.
Liliana is the bees knees. Both sides of that card are crazy good. Do want four of.
Speaking of Liliana, that one girl was...perky.
I'm glad 'Goyf is getting printed again, so now instead of $200, he'll be $199.95. Karn is cool too. My kingdom* for a Noble Hierarch reprint.
Hopefully the Battle for Zendikar announcement pushes the prices of fetches down a bit. I don't mind paying a bit extra to have them now rather than October, but $30+ is a bit much. Also, reprints would be likely to have icky flavor text. Ew.
Do we know if it´s only Plainswalkers that will get DFCs or if DFCs is a generel thing in that set?
So far we only know it is planewalkers, but based on the cost to do DFC and having checklists, we'll most likely see other DFC in origins.
Perhaps there will be some DFC from Innistrad (plane, not set) -- it could easily be Liliana's first planeswalk plane. She could meet Griselbrand there, setting the stage for her eventual contract with him and the other demons.
Does any1 have screenshot of the picture where is Uging awakening from the hedrons and there is some person but i dont know if it was Sarkhan or not. It looked like a Sorin but i miss the printscreen so i dont know....
Battle for Zendikar is pretty exciting, could we get more Sorin, Ugin, Nahiri, Nissa, and Gideon? Seems like there are going to be a lot of people on the scene.
Ob Nixilis too if he can get his spark back.
Well they did say that they choose the planeswalkers in Origins because they play a role in the upcoming storyline
I would be shocked if there wasn't a new Kiora in the block.

That's where I am expecting to see her again. I'm hoping she will get a new card in BFZ and a UR to pick up where we last left off with her in the story too. Maybe even some new sea monsters would be great too.
Ok, so new Sarkhan? For my Intet, the Dreamer deck. Awesome dragon punch. DF Planeswalkers are gonna be insane, especially in commander.
Now, Battle for Zendikar. I don't understand the hype.
Sure, we're getting new Eldrazi, enemy Fetches, and new Landfall cards. But that's all I see about Zendikar that peaks interest. Can someone explain why they like Zendikar so much?

It's not so much the plane Zendikar as it is the first Epic PW showdown since the Mending. All the previous PW Battles since then have been with only a few Planeswalkers with the fate of a plane or few planes in the balance. This Battle will influence the fate of Worlds. This is also the first potential closing of a Major MTG story-line Arc.

Personally, as a lover of the outdoors and Indiana Jones movies, Zendikar is one of my favorite settings/themes (adventure). I think my two favorite planes are Tarkir and Zendikar, with Mirrodin as a close third. Also I loved landfall as a mechanic, and I'd love to see more of it. Eldrazi probably means some colorless fun, along with maybe Ugin. Fetches are great, not particularly exciting to me though. I love the manlands from Zendikar, both mechanically and from a flavor perspective.
On a different topic, I think Ojutai is fantastic, Sarkhan is very good, time will tell what kind of shell he goes in. Superfriends might be fun. DFC walkers were actually not too much of a surprise, curious about other DFCs in the set.
I swear I first read it as Wingbonger...something tells me that "As Long as Wingbonger is paired with another creature, both creatures have weed." wouldn't be as good. Seems solid for limited.

Well part of it for me is nostalgia. It was my first full block. Part of it is the setting. They did a really good job at worldbuilding it. Part of it is it was a powerful block. Part of it is Eldrazi. Part of it is fetches. Part of it is the conclusion to an awesome story. I mean, it is the culmination of a lot of things.

There's only one eldrazi titan in Zendikar now, the other two are flying around doing the nomnom.

I LIKE DRAGONS!
Was wrong about sarkhan colors (But really, why add blue?).
Stoked for Zendikar. Jace, the Mind Sculptor reprint plz
Because pretty much anyone who follows the story knows he had ties to a couple of people of Temur clan?
Let this great clan rest in peace (2001-2011)
The exile clause isn't just flavorful to represent planeswalking, but allows the loyalty counters to be placed on Lilana within the rules.
