The command seems super playable. Also I'm starting to assume that the next block will have some tribal focus on shamans. Those intro pack dragons are awesome!
Ok, let's call this a simple ''hacking'' lesson for everyone. If you're given an "Access Denied" on a page anywhere, just add "?.JPG" to the url and reload. For example, "mtgsalvation.com" becomes "mtgsalvation.com?.JPG"

New Command is underwhelming (for Commander) I like some of the intro pack rares though. Boltwing Marauder seems particularly strong. Arashin Sovereign seems to be the only dud for me.
The command cycle intrigues me. I hope there is a gem in there. The UW one seems quite decent so far, but I expect all commands get compared to Cryptic Command, and this is not that. The US dragon in the intro pack also is interesting to me. It is an option for control based decks. It isn't the best option at this moment, but this set will be the beginning of the next rotation, so this might be at some point the new best control finisher.

I'm so excited for the return of the commands! Interestingly, Ojutai's doesn't seem as at home in a control shell as it does in an aggro or midrange one. We'll have to see what the others look like, though

In a ramp deck and with haste that green mythic could just win the game. Might be a little Christmas land but making a ton of mana, negative Ugin for all the creatures, drop and activate... again you would. Need to give it haste but still.
I doubt it because it requires you to get it into play, have a ton of mana, and a lot of power in creatures before you can activate it. Biorhythm required you to have a single creature and a lot less mana.
It will be a little bit like a Sorin Markov style of move or a convoluted combo if it goes off but it requires so much setup I don't see it coming from nowhere which is what was the problem with Biorhythm.
I am excited for the commands in general. That particular command seems a little more geared for constructed 60 card play but I am sure I will see it somewhere in commander.

I have officially moved to MTGNexus. I just wanted to let people know as my response time to salvation decks being bumped is very hit or miss.
wow, this blue/white command is already awesome. i mean you counter a creature and draw a card? n1 the life thing is probably the worst option. but i dig it.
and this shaman. hillarious. turn 1 manadork, turn 2 this. and you got a ton of mana already.

Maybe, but I would think not. It has to survive long enough and get enough mana and be able to tap to kill. Biorhythm is simply cast & win unless someone has a counter. Even if you give it haste and have enough mana to do it on the spot all someone has to do is kill a creature to take under under 8 to stop you.
If this is it for today, well besides whatever other websites get exclusive spoilers, they seem to be slow rolling it. Typically they spoil the juiciest stuff. I suppose they may just be waiting for PAX East.
Maybe the black blue command will be playable in cruel control

Doing a new Command cycle sounds brilliant, so long as they don't make one tons better than all of the other coughcoughCrypticCommandcoughcough.
Biorhythm is banned in Commander, so I'm skeptical about this Shaman guy for that format.
This new practice is beginning to annoy.
