msun: Knives scoop ice cream.
Highroller: No they don't, knives don't scoop. Spoons scoop.
msun: Well, knives SHOULD scoop icecream.
Highroller: We have spoons that do it. Moreover, the shape of a knife that would scoop ice cream would make it horrible for performing the functions of a knife.
msun: Highroller, you bring up spoons as though they were the utensil used for scooping ice cream.
Maybe too slow for constructed (morph just generally is) but great for limited. Might be possible to pack this guy, icefeather aven and the blue megamorph into a deck full of the better manifest cards like cloudform and whisperwood elemental, though. We'll see, I guess.
why hearthstone? because it only kills creatures untill a certain powerlevel? this "abbility" is around in magic since ages. Smother
Actually the card this brought to mind is Swat. Have to agree with the earlier poster that said this is a fantastic limited card. I can't imagine spending 6 mana on a situational removal spell in constructed even if it is over 2 turns and it leaves a 3/2 behind that has some limited evasion. It is possible that these megamorphs with spells tacked onto their flip have enough going on that they are better in practice than they present on paper, especially if manifest is back and we get a couple of playable cards with that mechanic. If these guys see play, I'm guessing the frame contains Whisperwood Elemental and Sultai Emissary.
The combination of abilities on this one feels a bit weird. Megamorphing it (God I feel stupid typing that) lets you take out a blocker but makes it easier to block in the future. The power level is pretty good for limited, though I could see taking a strong uncommon over it. 0 constructed applications I would imagine.

Storm Crow is strictly worse than Seacoast Drake.
Card's not bad. Kill an annoying utility creature, slap a sword or aura on, go to town.
