-New Morph adds a +1/+1 counter (when turned face-up)
-Set started out as enemy color pairs, but was changed to allied
-Preview card itself not leaked (just the text of the article)
that's not what happened at all. kamahl stabbed phage, akroma, and some old lady and they became korona. then korona got stabbed by her "prophets" and kamahl got drunk with a mutant centaur
Please be enemy fetches. Want some misties and tarns quite a bit at this point. Title is a bit of a misnomer seeing as how there is no spoiled card in this thread.

"Yawgmoth," Freyalise whispered as she set the bomb, "now you will pay for your treachery."
Well there's not a whole lot more they could have done with Morph without it devolving into total chaos. A new player dealing with Manifest, Morph, *and* another type of Morph? I'm at least happy to see this with the +1/+1's synergy in the block (even if +1/+1 counters are rather overdone as a mechanic at this point).

The new implementation of morph is a strictly better morph?
Depends how it is done. Could be kind of neutral or worst. Maybe like and abzan guide that is by default a 3/3 but if you morph and turn face up then it still becomes a 4/4. Possibly the mana and morph cost are the same rather than 1 less.
Well, I was wrong about enemy broods. The fact that it started that way may still mean ZEN fetches could happen. Especially since the allied fetches were the first cards in KTK.
You sir are a gentleman and a scholar. I can't wait till I can play my bicycle land out, thus making me heckbent, while I have Nessie on the field. You know, so I can attack with my Pervert.
Given the explanation for why this set will be allied-colored, I see no reason to expect enemy-colored fetches. The Tarkir fetches in the Fate Reforged packs of a draft are there to support the dragonlords. ZEN-fetches would do little to help the new draft format.
I'm assuming the mechanic is more interesting than it looks, mostly because we can't see the card. I imagine we will see creatures with Megamorph and abilities like "This creature has flying as long as it has a +1/+1 counter on it." which will make for more interesting decisions than with morph where you usually play it face up if you have the mana. Cards gaining abilities as long as they have counters will also work well with bolster.
Personally, I'm happy about morph 2.0 since I'm building a casual G/W manifest deck and I really wanted one or two more cards like Master of Pearls and Hooded Hydra.

The rare land cycle is for constructed play rather than limited. The trilands and gainlands were included to support limited.
Are people still seriously dense enough to say that enemy fetches won't be in the set? We were explicitly told that Wizards will not be doing half-cycles of lands in block sets. We got the allied fetches in Khans, couple Wizards' statement with other hints, the enemy fetches will be in Dragons. You have to be a complete idiot to believe otherwise.

While I still think enemy fetches will show up in Dragons, this article certainly casts doubt. After all, what reason would there be to include them if the 5 factions in Dragons are allied colored? I can see where others are seeing that this article starts to lean towards allied colored factions and in a set based around allied colored factions, allied fetches are all that is needed. I can understand some people believing enemy fetches won't be in based on the possible evidence present in this article.
There is still the possibility they will include them since there are bigger reasons to include them. Maybe they want to show changes between the two timelines. Maybe they want to make sure they provide a full cycle a dual lands for block constructed. Maybe they want to adhere to the expectation people may have. Maybe they just want to increase the supply of enemy fetches.
In any case, I think it is understandable to be skeptical after this article.

Everyone forgets the rationale Wizards gave for printing the full cycle within the block. Wizards didn't like the imbalance created in Block by having uneven color fixing. But now that Block is barely a format anymore (no PT), it seems to reason Wizards couldn't care less whether the format and color fixing is balanced or not.
I'm not saying the enemy fetchlands won't be in the set, but things have changed. Once it changes to two sets per block, do you still expect 10 dual lands in each block?

Which means we're going to get a cycle of uncommon or common allied lands anyway.
I'm still not exactly sure what the new morph does is it a +1+1 counter in addition to whatever you get when it gets turned up? That does seem a little boring hopefully we can get a better translation down the road.

Then let Akki_Akki be idiot. Akki_Akki want to see from spoilers we get Fetchlands. Akki_Akki not convinced by hype train alone.

As I'm sure you realize, that's just a wonky translation. It should be more like the following: "In order to demonstrate this, allow me to reveal today's card. World, I'm pleased to present Stratus Dancer."
I'm just guessing on how "la Bailarina de los estratos" will translate.
