I interpreted the "heresy" of her knowledge of other planes. I mean jeskai or not the "clan" still seeks enlightenment and knowledge. If you travel to another plane and start talking about it/questioning things on your own plane.

Why would knowledge of other worlds be heresy to a clan that seeks knowledge? Granted, Ojutai's commitment to the pursuit of knowledge canonically does not place him above censorship of the Jeskai's entire history, but I'm having trouble seeing how a mere trans-planar trip by a U/W Narset would prompt Ojutai to declare her a heretic. A rebellious streak inspired by the old Bloodfire, on the other hand...
Probably Narset found out the tables written 1,300 years before, when Shu Yun sacrificed himself to Ojutai, and so discovered of the forbidden Khans and of the clans.... That's probably the "heresy" we're talking about

The Father of Machines will free these creatures from the shackles of their imperfect flesh. All glory to Phyrexia!
Heretic? Definite red-ness for me. Her style, posture, clothes never changed. That's why she was kicked out of the Jeskai, or escaped. Noticed that the monasteries they lived in are devoid of warmth/red. Ojutai probably rid of them because reasons.
I don't think she needed to read the hidden scriptures to know, but probably found them for confirmation of her suspicions. Also I believe she does remember Sarkhan.
I think this confirms a Narset card at least. I like to see a Taigam card as well. Zurgo would probably be downgraded to nonlegendary status.
Pretty interesting that it's the literal dragons from FRF still alive in the new present. I figured we'd just get their ancestors or something, but no, they're just older. I assume we'll see new card versions?

Well, one of the arts *does* look an awful lot like a new Kolaghan.
If they are back, I'm betting they'll be Mythic this time.

I guarantee you 100% that they will not be wedge colored. The dragons are specifically against the enemy color in the wedges, it's not going to happen.
I swear I first read it as Wingbonger...something tells me that "As Long as Wingbonger is paired with another creature, both creatures have weed." wouldn't be as good. Seems solid for limited.

mtg-realm found an placemat which may be the new version of Jeskai Ascendancy
I've added the art for Jeskai Ascendancy for comparison as pointed out the Efreet are gone, which makes sense because they are red.
I assume the same is true for the Naga and Sultai (though we have seen Naga in mono blue and not in mono black, but i think in general they are just too green for them to be NewSultai, plus from uncharted realms we know they left the Sultai) It'll be interesting to see what creature types disappear and or move
I saw that picture and immediately thought of Gideon's whip as it sort of resembles it.
Likely, absolutely no connection between the two but it was the first thought in my head.
You're not alone, it struck me as very Gideon-ish in design the moment I saw it. I also agree there's almost certainly going to be no connection, unless something weird happens like changing Tarkir's past made Gideon visit and... er... you know what, rabbit holes. Not going down 'em.
I interpreted the "heresy" of her knowledge of other planes. I mean jeskai or not the "clan" still seeks enlightenment and knowledge. If you travel to another plane and start talking about it/questioning things on your own plane.
It is most likely a heresy for following the Jeskai teachings that Shu Yun secreted away before the fall of the clan.
It was in last week's UR.
As to this, it looks very very much like creature art as opposed to walker art.
If I remember correctly, the Naga had joined with Silgumar in the last Uncharted Realm as it was a Naga that helped give Tisagur his reward and collar.
That made me dig, that one.
Titus Lunter has another new image here, posted in the last half a day, that is entitled Snow-Covered Island...
... could the picture in Uncharted Realms today be Snow-Covered Mountain (no matter how volcanic the thing looks)?
... and does that mean a return to snow permanents? The plot thickens...
If I remember correctly, the Naga had joined with Silgumar in the last Uncharted Realm as it was a Naga that helped give Tisagur his reward and collar.
You're right, I guess the Naga can be black and Blue. Blue for sure, just weird that we had Mono green nagas and Blue nagas but no black ones yet in DTK I guess we'll have Blue and Black Nagas and no green
I guess it's the Rakshasa's that might leave when we go to duals?
or maybe it's not that simple efreets have to leave jeskai but maybe the clan make ups stay mostly the same.
If Narset discovered the scrolls and tried to spread the truth about history and the former rights enjoyed by the human majority against the censorship of Ojutai, that is very, VERY UW. Red likes to spit in the face of authority for no good reason, and it's perfectly conceivable that Narset could be red in that way. But let's not pretend for a second that red is the only color that can be heretical. In fact, blue is probably heretical more often than red.

Akki want to point out...
WUR is the most heretical color combination as it also most common. All cards with Heresy or Heretic in name are mostly within WUR and to a very lesser extent G which has only single card that be shared with . Akki_Akki would say white is the most heretical color followed by red and then blue and then green and finally black which has none of these cards.

Narset believes in the ways of the Jeskai before the dragons took over, and Taigam seems to be the leader of the Jeskai, so I'd say UWR is a lot more likely.

White is the LEAST heretical color, not the most. The definition of heretic is "a professed believer who maintains religious opinions contrary to those accepted by his or her church or rejects doctrines prescribed by that church." White is the color of faith and togetherness, which is the opposite of heresy.

You sure? Akki_Akki want to point out that entire race of Leonin on Theros that hate the Theros Pantheon and regularly destroy religious artifacts and spread heresy. It goes far enough Akki_Akki want to point out that there is even a card in which a leonin is using white magic to exile another white creature (Glare of Heresy). Followed up by Thraben Heretic ( ) and Soldevi Heretic ( ). Red has two cards. Blue has two cards. Green has one which is shared by blue. Black has none.
Heresy is not limited to religion, Akki_Akki also want to point out. Heresy is by definition to "A person holding an opinion at odds with what is generally accepted."
White at its fundemental core is following:
Order
Purity
Religion
Civilization
Structure
Law
Honor
Construction
Morality
Politics
Courage
Optimism
Defense
Strategy
Chivalry
Loyalty
Cooperation
Military
Self-sacrifice
Honesty
Light
Organization
Community
Medicine
Yet Akki_Akki where be Heresy? Heresy can occur within White when the Priest (religion) and the Apothecary (medicine) are at odds with one another. Both want to tend to the sick but it depends on what is commonly done for the sick for it be considered heresy to do something profoundly different. It could fall on shoulders of Apothecary to be the heretic for he is one who is not from this village that ends up coming at odds with Priest who is healer with his religion and white magic while the Apothecary wants to heal with his remedies. Neither is chaotic or intellectual or savage or self-servicing. Both wish to follow within the law and order, to help the community by healing it. Both hold honor and try to be honest.
Not only example but white has lots of infighting about things that can be labeled as heresy.
EDIT: Narset can be a WUR as an individual but disagrees with the Ojutai and what is taught.
