Here's a video demonstration of what you get on FRF prerelease, release and game day: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LHZbHTGNrxc
AFAIK, among these things the gameday playmat hadn't been shared on MTGS (it's really awesome, by the way).
Like in Khans of Tarkir prerelease, you must select a clan when you go to a Fate Reforged prerelease. In your Fate Reforged prerelease pack, you will find 1 KTK booster, 4 FRF boosters, and one seeded booster pack. Inside that seeded booster pack are 14 cards geared particularly toward your clan selection, and the 15th card is your prerelease promo that you are allowed to play with in your deck. Also like KTK prereleases though, your prerelease promo can be one of 8 different promos that could appear in that slot. When you multiply that by the five clans you can choose from, there will be 40 different prerelease promos available that people could open up.
Likely:
Clan Mythic (Soulfire Grand Master cycle)
Khan
Dragon
Siege
"Choose One" rare (Crux of Fate cycle)
Intro Pack Rare
2 other rares per clan
Note that this would mean that every rare and 5 of the 10 mythics would be available as the pre-release promo.
On the last two small set pre-re's (when the rares weren't promos but they were preseeded), they just doubled up on some color-specific rares rather than stuffed colorless cards into seeded packs, right?
In the JNX pre-re, there were two distinct White seeded packs where the rare was Aegis of the Gods, and another two distinct White seeded packs where the rare was Launch the Fleet. They didn't, say, shoehorn Mana Confluence into any seeded packs.
I expect some promos will be more common than others because some will be in 2/8 of their clan packs while some (including the mythic) will only be in 1/8.
We know of one colorless-artifact rare so far, and while it COULD be forced Jeskai, it is colorless and non-watermarked, so it probably won't be.

I think that the Scroll is a part of a megacycle of clan-related artifacts. Sultai has Altar of the Brood and Mardu has Dragon Throne of Tarkir. I expect the "Abzan" and "Temur" ones to show up in DTK.

The other card that gums up the "7 rares per clan" math is Crucible of the Spirit Dragon. There's truly no clan to associate with that one (nor any prerelease participant who would be happy to get that as their promo)

They put Crucible of Fire in red seeded packs in M15 prerelease, so it's not like that's going to stop them
Gavin said more info will be in his article on Monday. It's a little frustrating cause i preregistered for the midnight prerelease and i pretty much had to guess.
Sultai seems a bit short, while Temur has more options, so Supplant Form may end up in Sultai packs maybe. This way the promos are only in allied colors for each clan, which takes sense since the five dragons follow the same distinction, too.

The pre-release promo is almost certainly going to work like last time, where it's one of some number (it was 8 last time) of options for each Clan.

No, it's an alternate art Ugin. It'll probably be worth quite a bit more than the foil pack Ugin.
and everyone gets such a pack for free with the chance of this ugin?
That's the plan, though I guess if there are a lot more people than usual at your store they might run out.
Actually, at this point it looks like there isn't one since there's only one outstanding rare.

I think it is the Ugin's Fate booster box, that opens into this.

Pretty.
Are we certain that the Ugin alt-art promo (or any of them, for that matter) is nonfoil?
