I loved how that drawback was specific to Illusion creatures. This is disappointing.
It makes sense though it's fragile, one touch the wrong way and it shatters.
This is an excellent card in sealed (especially the prerelase sealed) and a good card for limited. Removal spells are at a premium, and it's power is high enough that your opponent can't ignore it either. If this is in your opening hand when you're on the play you have a decent shot of connecting at least once or pretty much forcing a trade.
Well look at you, baby emrakul! Who's going to destroy worlds? You are! Yes-you-are! *proceeds to give baby emrakul a raspberry*
I think this guy is at least on the fringes of playability in standard. I really hate how he dies to tokens, but a card like this really should die to tokens.
If MTG is a part of your life, the formats are like relationships:
Standard/Block = The on-again, off-again holiday fling
Modern/Vintage/Legacy = Stable, homely. A ***** after absence/misreading
Limited/Sealed = Heart breaking free spirit
Commander/Cube = Agreeable, needy and expensive
Pauper/Peasant = Sweet, kind, practical, but shy and boring
I was not happy with what FRF was offering Temur at first, but between this, Temur Sabertooth, Reality Shift, and Neutralizing Blast we got a bunch of new tools to make it a more effective aggro-control archetype.
I REALLY wish this were an illusion, but that is my only problem with the card. Great design, promotes interesting situations and should make drafting strange trying to evaluate this in different situations.
So I'm guessing from the comments Bile Blight only affects one of these every time, but I'd like to know why. Does it get sac'ed before getting -3/-3 and so Bile Blight loses its target?

Deep in a murmuring bosk, where the trees' memories span centuries, the simple banner of green and copper signifies an elder whose rings number more than a faerie's days.

Yes. Bile Blight is countered on resolution for having no targets left.
I'm going to test it even in constructed. I don't care about my two drops being removed but I do about two drops attacking for 4. Temur is good enough vs. tokens that it might afford this luxury.
A 2-cost 4 power creature without a major drawback is pretty beastly (And in this case, I don't find the drawback particularly major as 2-drop aggro creature are all fragile by nature). It won't go in every blue deck, but it's potent enough to push some strategies methinks.

I assume he means that if they try to kill Frost Walker you can't use Stubborn Denial to save it.
In that case, yes. I had assumed he thought the ferocious ability targeted the creature with power 4 or greater.
Your assumption was a bit more positive than mine.

Hold up, since when does blue get 4/1s? Shouldn't this card's stats be reversed? Why isn't this a red card?
Blue gets very efficient creatures with the 'phantasmal' drawback. Phantasmal bear, phantasmal dragon, phantasmal abomination, etc. Red doesn't get phantasms. This is the first one with a drastically higher power than toughness that comes to mind, but I imagine that concession was made since it's flavor is in Temur and they're all about 4 power.
Frankly, as far as limited is concerned this guy is just gonna trade with the first one or two drop your opponent plays. Not that that's a bad thing, but with so many efficient low-drops in this format it's going to be rare that this guy actually gets through for any damage.
