Also, what is up with the templating? "You may return a creature..." Why is it a may ability? Why would I ever activate the ability if I wasn't going to use the ability? Why not just put "may" on every activated ability in the history of magic?

Between this and Whisperwood Elemental, green's picking up quite a bit of resiliency against boardwipes. As someone that plays against a lot of big green decks, I'm not sure how I feel about that. The card's pretty cool, though. Fate Reforged definitely seems to be picking up where Khans left off as far as fun/relevant uncommons go; I'm liking it.

Interesting that cats seem to have started getting conditional indestructible attached to them. Fleecemane Lion and then this. Well, two things don't really make a pattern... then again, we recently got Ajani's Presence...
Also, what is up with the templating? "You may return a creature..." Why is it a may ability? Why would I ever activate the ability if I wasn't going to use the ability? Why not just put on "may" on every activated ability in the history of magic?
The bounce is on resolution. It's possible that your opponent killed the creature you were going to bounce in response to you activating the ability.
Well I think I'm going to try and find a way to get this into my Animar Deck I always wanted yet another way to create an infinite loop with my Palinchron
Also People were talking about how good Reality shift might be against decks with Courser use it to deny a good top deck, Now not so much. I don't see how this card doesn't go into abzan midrange or Green devotion decks
Huh, a lore question more than about the card, but does anyone know what the other two glyphs, besides the temur symbol, that are emblazoned on it are? They don't look like dragon or clan symbols.
Nope, and this was my thought exactly when I saw it. The rightmost look a little bit like inverted Silumgar symbol, but that's about it.

Can't see how it goes infinite with BTE. Activate ability, return BTE. Cast BTE, use mana from ETB to bounce it again. Need to pay two mana to recast BTE...
Was also confused about why they didn't make the bounce part of the activation cost, but think of this:
Activate Saberkitty ability, opponent casts Doom Blade targeting it. Provided you have enough mana you can always reactivate the ability above a kill spell on the stack as many times as needed, yet only ever have to return one creature to your hand.
I am in love with this creature. Mainly because I can rebuy already Monstrous Pookies, Rebuy Genesis Hydra's, Put that planeswalker I manifested into my hand, and oh hey someone wants to kill my pookie, I will just bounce it.
Now this card with Siege Rhino is just stupid beyond stupid, and if they have other redonkulous ETB guys released, this card is terrifying. I mean I am excited about bouncing my Nylea's disciples and that is not even that great of a card.
Just be thankful people acidic slime is not in the format. I can guarantee you I would of pissed off a lot of people with if Acidic slime was

Yea, those are MTG Bars. What can I say, I am a dork
There aren't a ton ETB effects to abuse in Khans limited, but you can re-use raid abilities with this guy, which is nice (making him indestructible also means you can attack fearlessly). There's also Siege Rhino, Bear's Companion and Armament Corps if you have 6 or 7 mana.
Edit: is saber a US thing or just a misspelling of sabre?
Instant speed bounce? In green? More color pie defying goodness!
This is definitely not a color pie break, or even a bend really. Green gets "Drawbacks" of having to bounce a creature every once and a while in the modern era. It's as much of a color pie violation as blue pongify effects.(read: Not at all, people just have this strange delusion that the color hasn't been doing it for the past 3 years)

Check out the thread for my cube if you have the time, and tell me how terrible it is.
Generals meant to be drafted first in a single pack of 6 cards.
And here is the actual cube, meant to be drafted in 4 regular sized packs. (60 card decks)
Seriously this goodstuff with Manifest and that it can become indestructible. A 4/3 for 4 is not bad by itself either.
How's a 4/3 for 4 not bad?
a 4/3 for 4 is awful.... I mean, a vanilla 4/3 for 4 is playable on sealed at best, but still..
for 2GG you get this in standard
but this card makes your board so much more resilient and interacts so well with ETB effects and manifest, I want 12 of it.
Amazing card, one of my favourites in FRF so far
love it badly.
Tarkir block has some pretty powerful uncommons...
finally they're bringing back power below rares haha
The art on this is awesome! Really liking it. Reminded me of some older stuff. Effect is awesome, too, and will definitely be fun with manifest (as many have already stated).
Very nice card for limited and EDH, and an uncommon to boot! Not sure about its usefulness for 60 card formats. Any chance Pod decks want one of these?

Oh right, I should have known it was worded as to prevent any possible way the card could backfire or hurt you in any way.

So, this cat, Burning-Tree, Essence Warden, and Grapeshot? *shrug*

For 7 mana I can attack and bounce my Lava Axe dragon... yay? Or I could play a good deck.
How about its synergy with Whip of Erebos? How is this card an uncommon?

Whip of Erebos is very clear about change of zone. You must exile the card before the whip does.
