Neutralizing Blast 1U

Counter target multicolored spell. "To defeat your enemies, you must remove their ability to make war against you."
I prefer disdainful stroke, but this is a very meta dependant card, I think too many cards I want to counter are single coloured (elspeth, hornet queen)
I don't really see a place for this. Even the most dedicated multicolor decks run a pretty high count of monocolor spells, and this is almost completely dead against a fair portion of the metagame (UB Control, BG Constellation, Sligh). But even in most situations where you want to side this in, I have to imagine Disdainful Stoke is just better.
I'm thinking they're going to reveal some three mana or less multicolor (hybrid??) cycle that will make this somewhat relevant. It's probably a singleton or sideboard card for standard.. A three mana Cancel with benefits (like Dissolve) would be better, but I get excited when I see "1U" and "counter .. spell" on a card.
So for non-overlap, you've got the cycle of charms and ascendency enchantments, and then pharika/anafenza, not exactly powerhouses. Am I missing anything? Rakshasha I suppose
Granted, there will be changeups to that card pool with FRF and onwards, but what relevant 1-3 cmc multicolored cards are being added? Nothing spoiled so far.
I'm hoping we'll get some permanent cards with hybrid in the main cost to cast them, which are good for devotion decks. That would give a good kind of thing for this to counter, right?

So this means there will be plenty of multicolor or hybrid cards in Dragons of Tarkir, right? Otherwise why would they put it in the in-between expansion?

Not any of the top removal or control spells like seize, cut, downfall, strike, etc, which are monocolored.
Most of the popular beaters and finishers are also mono, courser of kruphix, wingmate roc, goblin rabblemaster, hornet queen, doomwake giant, stormbreath dragon, etc, even dorks and weenies (seeker, llanowar #214, caryatid, etc)
Of the multicolored spells, siege rhino, sorin, butcher of the horde, utter end, etc are 4+ CMC anyway

Don't forget Mantis Rider.
Storm Crow is strictly worse than Seacoast Drake.
